Not to get too wishy-washy, but hearing you say 'people like handmade gifts' really means a lot to me. In my family they tend to act like handmade things are cheap and only done because you don't have $ to buy things. If they only knew the time, money, and effort that goes into making them! I realize people like them aren't the majority and a lot of people do appreciate quality handmade things.
My dad and some of his family are the same way, and no matter how many times I hear people appreciating the things I've made, it still makes a huge deal to me.
Ok I understand to the 1st book idea. And yes to the reply you made about the 2nd book, and make it full of all your favorite paper, colors, items, techniques, so on. All in one book. These book and idea's are treasure to me as well. Thanks so much.
A great idea, especially with a huge recession on the way, I still want to give nice gifts to special people in my life, ticks all the boxes for me, tyfs
Thank you for showing us how to make these cute, little journals. They will make great gifts to have on hand and they dont really take a lot of time. It will also help me use up my scraps, too. Love everyone of them that you created.
You are the very first person I have seen to have a prepared box of findings... Such a clever girl!! Lovely project. Hope to be able to create something similar.
Just found your channel, and I am LOVING what you do! These journals are so great. I have a son that will be getting married and these would make terrific wedding favors for everyone. Personalized to the B&G with their colors and aesthetics.. My mind is racing with ideas!
Absolutely darling ♥ I watched your "get to know me" video yesterday and cried. I left a message but it's an old video so I'm not sure if you saw it but, I'm very blessed to have found you ♥
A lovely idea! Esp if one needs to give multiple number of these as a takeaway present or keepsake on a special occasion. Definitely will come in useful as a lot of festivals round the corner! Thk u Natasa! Yet another ace!
Hello Natasha! I am enjoying your tutorials so much! I LOVE this one. I frequently gift books, which I always include a little food treat and a little notebook that I decorate to match the book's theme. I've been buying the notebooks but I'm definitely going to start making these little beauties now. I'm also inspired by your empherma boxes. Be blessed!
Even your scraps box is so organized and lovely. Mine looks like house trolls use it for exercise! Cannot wait to get started and make a few of these for friends. Thank you for the inspiration! 🥰
Just an idea.... The clear bic pens... You can roll a scrap of matching paper inside the outer tube...and maybe glue a gem or something on the end.... Or if you cant get paper on the inside of the barrel, glue some around the outside of the pen. You can pick up whole packs of 20 or more pens for a pound or a dollar! Then they can each have a matching pen for a few pennies each! These are cute lil stocking fillers or craft fair items. Great to make a batch in themed paper, even using napkins as the paper, and put one each into party bags as a cheap take home gift for kids at a birthday party. Throw in a couple of unblown balloons, a tube of bubbles, (which could also be paper wrapped to match!) and their slice of birthday cake and the guest bags would be themed but so cheap! Just buy extra napkins, or even a roll of coordinating wrapping paper, in whatever character the party style is... Disney princesses or Harry Potter or whatever... Or even for weddings or baby showers! In fact all the paper decor could be made with the napkins or wrapping paper too! These could be used in so many ways! 😁😁😁 Oh! And ps: I also use a set of metal punches/eyelet setters. They're not exactly like yours, mine have to be tapped with a hammer, but basically the same kind of thing! I love the fact I can whack a hole or eyelet wherever I need one and am not limited by the "reach" of something like a cropodile gadget! I think ours are much more versatile, reach anywhere they're needed, much stronger and far cheaper! I wouldn't want a cropodile!!! 😘😘😘
Such a lovely idea. I like how you assembled these. The laminated bookmark with the adornment is an extra special touch. Thank you for sharing the tutorial!
Love this idea. I love giving a little something to as many people as possible at the holidays. This is a great idea. Yours are beautiful. TFS. I did. God bless and stay safe.

I totally agree! Way too expensive. I can almost justify the one off payment for the Cropodile, but the eyelets are also so expensive, so its a constant expense really.
