Danny Elfman is a true ✨LEGEND✨ at what he does, whether the music is more dramatic, or romantic, or intense, it really hits you on an emotional level, and I like how when the scene is just of people freaking out in the church, the music is a little more subtle, but when the scene changes to the horseman, the music rises and intensifies and is more dramatic. Also a little off topic but I like how in the beginning of the church scene when everyone is like walking into the church and you notice when the horseman comes out of his lair, the sky goes from just kinda gloomy to really dark clouds and even though these people in this little town know what's happening as far as this horseman, no one really notices or reacts to the change until the horseman gets to the church and then their all like😱😱😱
This whole movie was great, but this is probably my favorite scene. It’s a nice touch that the Headless Horseman cannot enter the church. He’s an unholy being, much like most Vampires and the immortals in the Highlander franchise. 1:22 to 1:32
LOVE HOW THE STAIRCASE RUNS ALONG TO A POINT AND SHOWS KATRINA AND THE DEAD BODIES ALONG WITH THE SPOOKY ROMANTIC MUSIC . BEAUTIFUL.
She was adorable with that angel face.

6:14 is just one of my favorite bits from this score. It's disappointing that it wasn't even nominated for the Oscar.
This is my favourite Danny Elfman score, I was surprised it only recently received a vinyl release!
the music at 0:45-0:53 is the best piece of music in the entire film and its the reason i keep watching this video. lol.
2:15 the Best part of this scene with Doctor Thomas Lancaster.
