W😯W those are GORGEOUS!!! Thank you for teaching us how to make molds and how to pour. Long videos are much better than short, speeded up ones, with no real instructions, for those of us who want to learn this craft. I enjoy your videos so much!!!
These are so beautiful! I thought they were just going to be the dark red and orangeish color until you turned it over, I was stunned! It is amazing how it spread the colors and the little bits of glitter on the other side. Red is my absolute favorite color and these are just so very beautiful! You explained what you were doing as you went and I like that. The way you get so excited too as you do things make the video that more enjoyable. Thank you! I am in the USA, West Virginia. Hope to be able to get items like you used. Can't wait to see more!
Lovely❤️ like to put crushed glass in them do a clear layer let it set then add the glass inside there is some with sparkle in the glass. Use ink & glitter like them to be clear the glass adds weight There are many ways to do them Fun Stuff Thanks Julie
Hi Julie!! 👋😎👋 These are beautiful!! I love the colors you chose! I've also thought from the beginning that the side of coaster you choose depends on your mood that day, so it's good that they are different. 🧡💙💛💚💜 A thought on making your molds, what about taking your skinny plastic paint scraper, and use it on the inside edge with your other hands finger on the outside to give a more uniform edge to your coasters? If you wanted a more rounded edge, they make silicon edging plastic tools for caulking in bathrooms and kitchens. They come with different radius corners for when you caulk showers, sinks and other things. 🤔🤷😉 Thanks so much for sharing the things that you do, such a great help for so many!!! God bless and have a great week!!
HI, O.M.G. WOW WOW WOW ABSOLUTELY Beautiful & stunning looking thank you so much for sharing 👍 the best part of taking the Coasters out of the molds & Even better home made molds is the Excitement to see what they will turn out like & my goodness they turned out just Amazing ………… have you ever done a resin tutorial using a large alphabet mold ? all the best Lin 👍❤️
They look beautiful. You can usually get enamel paint off by using acetone. Just make sure wipe your coaster down straight after, with rubbing alcohol or warm soapy water - to remove acetone residue x
I think these are the best ones so far. Since you said the pen was easier to edge with you might want to consider using the pen for the edge and paint for the sides.
How wonderful of you to share this with all of us. I really enjoyed this video. I have learned so much from this, and I will enjoy trying it out for myself, just think of the money I have saved with not buying another set of geode resin moulds ;) Lovely thank you ;)
So beautiful. As you were taking them out of the moulds, they looked like English wild roses - really lovely. Your new camera worked so well too and your attention to detail - you are very natural and I really like listening to you explain as you work through your own procedures.
Tip: if you want a more sharper more intricate border, once the silicon sets on the outside, you can use the side of a stick and shape it. You feel when it is squishy, but dry to the touch. Be careful not to break through the skin.
Wow! You are so inspiring! I've lost my drive this year and having such a hard time getting back into art. I watch you and want to jump back in, then go to bed and forgot until the next night when I see you again but it's too late to start anything. I need my mojo back!!
I’m thrilled to hear how excited you were , new Dremel, new Samsung phone, new molds made by you and your coasters turned out beautiful, I’m so happy for you!
oh WOW! Thankyou Julie - have tried 2 lots on different plastics but needless to say they didn't stick. Never though of using the back of a baking matt - thank you :-) These turned out beautiful!!!
Hi I'm new to your channel, so hi from Denmark 👋🇩🇰 I really love how you did your own molds and what a beatyful outcome 😍 I'm getting my first resin ordre hopeful tomorrow, fingers crossed 🤞 I hope mine will be as beautyful as yours ❤ Best regards Heidi
Love you so much and i am so happy you keep making all these beautiful resin coasters and share with us. 🌺🌺🌺🏵️🏵️. Now i am thinking about using this method to make a real eye shape and colors, white on edges and light-brown and black in middle, maybe add eye lashes later with something. Can you try this pls?
I was so anxious and excited throughout this video hoping the mold worked for you. Beautiful colors, reminds me of a golden sunset. Great job with these geodes. I love them.
Hey Julie if that your name if you can get contrast colours done right like black an red blue an black etc they will look very nice a little blending if right is spot on, ten + years as decorator as well as glass cutter. This Arty craft looking fun
I almost fainted when I found out how much they charge for molds! Yours is even better because its a custom shape! You're so cute. And smart too! Save us money! Thanks!
Genius! And so very beautiful! Julie, I'm wondering if you'd heard of Maribou alcohol Inks? The inks are OK, but the spectacular thing they have in their ink collection is one called Rainbow. It's clear with a teeny tiny glint of the most gorgeous micro shimmers. It disperses so beautifully. I stocked up on these.if you experiment with your Dremel and the different tips, you'll find you can put the edges however you like. And I'm thinking you can store your custom molds face down and stacked on dollar store cookie sheets to prevent some dust and crushing. Some folks would charge a fortune for molds like this. Great job!
Awesome, just awesome. I will do this. I love the round shape instead of the regular geode shapes. Can't wait for the next ones you make. You are such a great teacher. Hugs!
Julie, you’ve outdone yourself again. Right from making the mold to revealing the finished product. You are so inspiring. Thankyou 🤗
It’s not boring watching you mix. I rather enjoy it. 😉
Oh WOW!! You can also put down metal cookie cutters, outline them with the silicone, take the cutter off and tons of new shapes to make molds of!!!
You are my best teacher for all these beauties
Super, Julie loving the colours....Love your red with the gold ......👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻😘😘😘😘😜

Try acetone to remove dried paints. Be gentle with the pressure or it will eat into the resin a bit! Lovely coasters! Thank you for the tutorial!
Love all your coaster projects! I also watch Louise Singleton Creations...another great resin artist!
