TBH, I don't think you using the mold to make a template is cheating, I think it's genius. Love your content. You are an inspiration.
I completely agree !! especially if you're doing things for mental health lol sometimes you just need something to frigging work lol 😆
I think this pattern would look good in a turtle or a dragon. Even a snake. But of course, it looks great in coasters, too. Very pretty
I love these, wow
Gorgeous! Can you tell me what you searched for in google for this image?
I think they are stunning and don't care that its a photo as the result is beautiful.
Hey Julie! This isn't cheating, we use pictures set in resin all the time.😁 That pic is absolutely stunning!! I love them but still not keen on so much gold along the outside. These will definitely draw attention, lovely!! Big hugs from Texas!!🤩😍
Beautiful! You should try putting two of the photos back to back and use clear resin so both sides could be seen.
It may be a hack, but it's not cheating! You are the one putting it together, so it's still legitimate!
These are lovely!
This is gorgeous Julie. You haven't cheated at all 😊❤❤
💙 looks like a black opal
Fabulous idea. Not cheating at all. Artistic intuition!❤
😂😂😂 I love your hack!!! Your coasters are absolutely STUNNING😍😍😍 and your right it does look like opal with gold veins running through it.
I love them all, and you came close on your own. They are so! pretty. I know how you feel, that is because you are an artist, and you know it is not all your own work. Like I said keep working on it. You know what? You could make your own by using those paint pouring skins. 😃
Can you share the link to the design that you printed and used?
It's called......GOOGLE😂😂
😂😂@@dianeh2420
@dianeh2420 you don't have to be rude. I don't want to be searching forever looking for a specific picture. I have better things to do. There is a specific saying that applies to your comment. If you don't have anything nice to say...... I'm sure if you don't know the rest you can just Google it
@@dianeh2420 You don't have to be rude do you?
I would like this too please
If you use clear resin, you can see thru it to get the exact area you want… you can even do it wi UV resin. It’s worth it if you plan to use it often.
I store my resin in large sauce bottles (950ml) available from Big W @ $3 each. So much easier to control the flow and no more mess.
WOW! So 3D, and *beautiful,* Julie!
That came out gorgeous!
Hi. You could put sticky velvet on the bottom for a lush look and feel.
I'm still trying to figure out the dang bloom technique. Love all of Mrs. Julie's stuff!!! thank you...:) the larimar effect, is the one I'm most going after.
Hey love your videos. I may have a tip for you with bottles who has a big opening. Try to use I a wooden stick. Hold it in the cup and lean the big bottle opening agains it and poor out resin out, it should help to get no spills. I hope you helps you.
Keep the great videos coming thank you and bless you and your family 😊
These are beautiful!!! Great idea!!
Absolutely gorgeous Julie! I can't wait to try it! I see no cheating here! 😊
I put talcum powder in my gloves. Keeps my hands from moisture and make it easy to take off.
Completely gorgeous! Small "cheat" for a huge win ❤
I can't see it as cheating, cheating is when you look over to the person next to you and copying their answers
Julie I love the look of opals! Preferred the less dots of alcohol ink around the edge though. Other than that they were fantastic!!! Jennie
Love this. ❤️ thank you for the inspiration.
making that template with polyurethane is brilliant julie!!! love these coasters so much!! thanks! xo
Just reciecrd my incredible PYHO silicone mold today! Cant wait to try this in it!😂👏😁
Very pretty, Julie. They look 3d with the added gold lines.
Your such an amazing artist. Love your nails by the way. Have a great day and thank you for sharing your journey.
They are beautiful! Whatever works, right? Right!
Hi. WOW! How good did they look when you put them outside. Simply stunning. And that's not cheating ... LOL.
So clever 😅 it’s absolutely gorgeous ❤❤
So nice, and I'm in love with your's nails
Those are absolutely remarkable!!!
Love your nails. LMAO, awesome hack!!!!!! It looks wonderful and nobody would know if you didn't tell them. These are awesome, they look great! xoxoxooxoxooxoxo
I like that last one showed it's pretty so make coaster of those❤
They are so pretty.
GENIUS!!! And GORGEOUS!
Pure Genius Chica! What gorgeous templates you used to make these brilliant coasters. I love the colors, and the gold really made it stand out. Can't wait to see you make some more of these. Excellent job 👏 👍. ❤🎉😊
Brilliant idea Julie ! Really lovely result !❤💕
I don’t have black polyurethane. Can I color the white polyurethane? Which would be better, powder or paste?
We are _absolutely_ here for the hacks, ma’am! 😊
These are gorgeous! What a genius idea! Did you print the images on photo paper?
They're very pretty. They look like abalone as well as opal
❤ gorgeous! Awesome picture you used. ❤❤❤
Love your Green and Gold Aussie nails too!🇦🇺
It's beautiful no matter how you got there. Use inspiration where you find it.
Hi Julie! These are amazing!! Love your hack! Pure genius!! 😍
I Love the card design you used !! I don't see it as cheating besides you made it your own by adding your special touch in the gold viening and edging !! Its Gorgeous 😍 ❤️ 💖 💕 ✨️
Wow, they are very pretty! Great idea. Thank you. ❤❤❤
They are gorgeous!❤❤❤
Those would look amazing in some nice jewelry pieces. Awesome hack tip thank you
I enjoyed your video very much. You’re such an inspiration!
Beautiful as always Julie❤
I think this is great. It kind of gives me an idea (an experiment), though my ideas rarely work out. 😂
So beautiful. Nice job on these coasters
They're beautiful 😍 Have you thought of making a coaster holder for them. I would definitely buy that set!
Viewing from the caribbean wow goregous coasters julie well done
I asked for a full tutorial the other day after watching your short video with these coasters, because they were quite special ❤ but didn't get any answer, so I was happy when I came across the video by chance today 😊
Since I can see I'm not the only one with questions about the paper/photo print, I'll keep an eye on the comments, even though my experience is that questions in the comments don't seem to get answered... one can hope 😉
What’s your question? I put photos in coasters for customers frequently.
@Blondie7676 hi, thank you very much for asking. I would love to know, if 1) it's printet on some sort of special paper, photo paper etc. or if it can be on ordinary print paper, and 2) can it be printed on any type of printer, and finally 3) whether the print requires some form of sealing.
Thank you very much for sharing your experience and knowledge with newbies like me 💐
You’re aren’t cheating! It’s really no different than using stickers, cellophane, vinyl, etc.
I was wondering if you had tried dusting the mold with opal colors and shapes in order to create the opal effect? Just curious since I don’t see you giving up on trying to actually create the effect yourself. 😂
Beautiful, I love the secret.
Beautiful! I love smooth on products!
Thanks for showing how to do a photo in resin I have been wondering how it would work and it looks great! I really love this design you chose very beautiful, and colorful. Those gold veins are just fabulous so artistic. Wow so lovely they just sparkle in the sun outstanding! An idea I use temporary tattoo's in resin it works well and there is a lot of images to chose from as well. Perhaps this is something you may try, and you just do it the same way you would to put the tattoo on a person only just on the cured resin. I pour a base coat then the tattoo and then the top coat. Some great projects to be had using them. Sorry for bothering you with it if you have already done this one. I will be starting back at the beginning videos so I can avoid any mistakes like that in the future, and make sure I get caught up on all the ones I missed until I found you. I hope all is well and safe with you and your family in Queensland. I have seen flooding and some weather related havoc has been going on in your area and I pray that you and yours are all safe and well away from the effected areas.
@@MsTjules thankyou so much
@@PouringYourHeartOut No thank you your my favorite TH-cam artist, and your work is so inspiring! Thanks for all your great ideas, time and effort and endless talent!!
That looks incredible, I am going to try this today😊
What a fabulous idea. Thank you for sharing
Hello, from Argentina, your work Is very funny to watch. Thank you for all. ( Lo siento, no estoy acostumbrada a escribir en inglés)
very fine streaks are obtained and easy to draw. With ordinary bird feathers. dip the tip of the soft part of the feather and behave like a brush.. you can buy feathers or collect them on the street.. the pen has beautiful cracks and they are natural, thin and what you need.. feathers can get good stains on your products.. It's a very beautiful piece of work and the result will be even better.. I was taught this by the masters of making artificial stone... it is necessary to emphasize the transitions of tones on the stone. Then it's very beautiful.
Do you have any picture's of feathers you have ?
@@lynnappleby903 were all th-cam.com/video/w2zx8dp2eXQ/w-d-xo.html
any feathers will do. they are sold and can be found in the park. any feathers are suitable and needed. in various cases. I highly recommend this master to teach you how to make real marble from plaster..enable translation.
oK DOWN UNDER!!! REALLY CLASSIE.......TIME FOR A DINNER PARTY!!!
Hi you can't seem to amaze me everything you do is so perfect. Is that photo paper, or an you use card board paper ?
So pretty . What is the name of the image? Geode? Or something else ?
How were you able to use the photos without putting mod podge or something over them to seal them?
It's photo paper
Beautiful
Great idea!
Awesome hack for resin
love the colors!
Very pretty!❤
Love them.
Very pretty
Brilliant
Could you tell me what you looked under for the picture
I use vinyl from Glamour Tribe Vinyl - the luminous stones collection. I cut out the shape just like she does and I don't peel the backing from the vinyl, just plunk it into the coaster mold. It is more expensive than finding a picture but it is really nice vinyl.
Awww I was disillusioned Julie. When I saw the thumbnail, I thought, “Oh my! Julie is getting better and better”! 😢
It’s beautiful, but I thought you did that design.
Hi Julie, really pretty. I just wish my printed that well. Please tell me what kind of printer do you have? Have a blessed day.🙏🤗💗🐾
@@marybeth17 I think she said they were printed at an office shop. You want the image to be in .png format.
Hmmm good hack for making for yourself, but i bought a pendant (that wasn't cheap) it was a picture with glass on top. Looked as cheap as the hack but in online it looked amazing, 3D, couldn't even return as false /faulty etc
Too much gold for me. But very nice for someone else. Great idea
So pretty
Do you have to use UV resin or something to keep the paint pen from coming off of the edge?
Buy squeeze bottles to put your black resin in. Ppl that do tumblers and we use super fast set resin. It set up in 1-2 hours. And a lot of ppl put in squeeze bottles bc you only mix 2oz at a time. TBH I’m not even sure I’d use that stuff tho. Seems like it’s a pain
Do you have to seal the photo in something?
Beautiful coasters! What did you search for because I had no luck finding anything close?
Opal rock
Nothing comes up when googling opal rock......was there more words in the search to help narrow down finding the image? @@PouringYourHeartOut
Adorable ❤
so cool!!😍😘
Nice hack.
Beautiful. Is that printed on photo paper or some other kid? Did you seal it with anything before pouring resin?
Photo paper
Hi did you have the picture on photo paper or what did you use please x
It's photo paper
How did you find what did you google pleas
Where is the card from please?
Put the resin into squeeze bottles love ya work!
Not telling anyone!😂🤫
Can you please post a link to the image or share the image in your Facebook group?
