I've been fading my hair for about 7 years and watched countless videos explaing how to cut hair and this is by far the best tutorial I have ever watched. You sir are a great teacher! Wish I would of watched your video 7 years ago 👍
Nice to see a more in depth video about the process of a fade. Keep going with being in depth with your videos about barbering... It will help alot of people who are starting out and maybe can't afford a barber school or just left. Maybe more videos on scissor work. Any respect from UK
I have been watching alot of your videos during my Christmas break and can honestly say that you have helped me more than the barber school. I just want to say thanks and keep up the great content.👍👍
Honestly I watched this video three times today and then cut a client that requested a skin fade and I DEFINITELY saw an improvement. Additionally I felt prepared to tackle the fade because I was using a process and not winging it. Nornally I start sweating because I feel so out of my element but I was cool as a cucumber because I felt confident. Thank you so much!
I’m 6 min in and I can tell that you did a much better job at explaining this process then before...it’s like you could put this video inside the other video to complement it and booom lol luv it thanks
You have an awesome way of teaching bro. I wish I had a teacher like you when I was in barber college. Everything you teach is things that will really open the eyes of young barbers new to the trade.
Again really appreciated please do a short vid on tools you use and maby some scissor work...and if you can what you do with receding hairlines... thanks again bro
great video!!! your eyes man your eyes!!!!!! one thing i learn today from your video that i did not from any of there other videos these other barbers don't tell ya is my clipper needs to be at an angle and this is important for a blend to come out good!! thanks man!!!
You have a great understanding of the clipper. That's a lot of hard work!! You are not showing the use of the heel of your clipper! I started cutting hair in 1984 so I could offer some ideas to make things a lot less tedious. Your work looks great and I think you are doing an awesome job with your channel.
I've been watching haircut tutorials for a few years now and I feel you have the best teaching tutorials on youtube. I can tell you really want to teach while others just want to hear themselves talk or be comedians. I think the way you stress the importance of establishing a foundation has helped me a lot.The chart is very helpful. Some of the other methods out here are all over the place and they don't establish the "foundation" first. Once you have a foundation then you can deviate from it and experiment with other methods. But, it all starts with the fundamentals. I appreciate the videos man. With my hectic work and family schedule I'm forced to cut my own hair.
U da man bro. You’ve helped me so much with my barber game. You and Bossio. I’m glad I found your channel and subscribed. I always look forward to your new videos. Mahalos from Hawaii 🤙🏾
Great video keep them coming . ..you are making a difference in my quality . ..I need to understand clipper over comb more...when taking out bulk and blending without putting lines in
@@TH-camBarberAcademy yes but show and explain it...like clipper over comb for dummies.. When i tilt comb somehow i cut the guide or the hair makes a line when i cut only whats at the bottom of comb

Awesome video bro it really helps ur system and ur skills stands out for itself, im learning how to fade and u help my skills advance with all the Necessary information you give thank you
Bro appreciate this video just started cutting my sons hair and this video really helped me understand how to cut. One problem I had was that my clipper set got hot fast anyway to reduce that
Really liking your videos I was watching other barber videos and yours helps a lot better just watched your clipper over comb that one was really good and helped me understand what I was doing wrong
Thank you for taking time to make this channel. I'm a machinist by trade who doesn't have the time to go to a school for barbering. I've been cutting my own hair and friends, family for some time. Barbering is something I've always had a passion for and because of your content I've improved greatly. I'm building a small shop in my house, and this summer I'll be taking on clients. I'm in Canada and it's not required to have a license, although I'm sure it helps if you were to open a commercial barber shop. Aside from these great videos you make, do you plan on curating an online course? Could you give a recommendation for shears? Thanks again.
Thank you your technique and explains are amazing and give me wery good results at my fades and I don’t have a lot of experience with fades before ❤️❤️🙂🙂😀 Can you do same every day salon haircut I want to see what technique you have with that kind of haircuts.
Oster Volt. I love your videos thank you so much you have made my haircut so much better. And I will be getting my Oster volts the first week of January
@@TH-camBarberAcademy do you use the modified ceramic blades on your detachables or do you just keep them the way they are out of the package? And do you zero-gap your detachable blades as well?

Can you do tutorial on a high bald fade with long hair on top like a combover. I tend to only do low or mid fades and shy away from doing high fades because I don’t know what steps I would need to do because the transition from bald to the hair on top is so drastic. I’d really appreciate it. Btw,Thank you for posting another awesome and helpful video.
TH-cam Barber Academy yesssir! I’ve went through your archives and found a high fade toturial but it was short on top. I have a hard time doing a high fade with longer hair on top like a combover.
quest808 yea always use ur same routine on every haircut unless ur specifically asked for something more complex or if its not necessary but it should be the same steps just maybe a little bigger and higher but before the combover u should set like a foundation on the sides with a number two and depending if they wanna comb down the hair on the ridge next to the part leave it, but if they want it short by the part then cut it to a 3 or 2 whatever u think is better, than just continue with your normal steps, watch a youtube a video on it to get a better visual idea
