I have a question. Isn't the 1 guard with the lever all the way open the same thing as the 1 1/2 ?
    since I don't have the 1 1/2 guard.

Good video but doesn't this all really depend on the clipper ? For example Wahl open up to a .5 fully opened. And Andis is usually a 1 guard fully opened.

One thing I really think we should really hammer in for beginners is the lever open line HAS to be big enough!

Awesome video as always, if possible in the future can you make a fade video but where you leave some bulk above the parietal ridge? Cause now a days everyone turns a combover /Executive contour into a undercut by going really low on the side with like a 1.5 or 2 on the combover and leaving a hard disconnect. But some people like their bald fade to leave some bulk on the side where it’s barely combable and that’s what I struggle with... I see a lot more barbers do that in the UK and Europe but can’t find many videos on it. And too me that is way harder to fade and could use some help with that. Thanks

Eddie thanks man! With your advice and encouragement. I cut the hair of my kids this week. They are 5 and 7. Then I cut my own hair today. Did a low fade using your chart. Not easy and not perfect but I think I will get better. I am happy with the results tough. I have only three haircuts on my resume 😂 I bought the wahl magic cordless clipper I think they are very good. Especially for an amateur like me. Greetings from Belgium! Ps: Vlog was nice too!!!
