Thanks for reading your owners manual to us. Since I can already read so I didn't closely follow your narrative. Info being read to me isn't the particular method I use to to learn by but it was unique being read to...
It should auto range. Make sure you discharge the capacitor prior to testing. Then you want to hold the probes tight to the capacitor leads and hold them there until the meter reads the value.
I'm not sure what demographic this video is for. But as someone wanting to learn how to use the multimeter and what all those symbols are, this video didn't help me at all.
a normal person usually want to measure voltage in home ( that I recommend that do it with caution because you can be shocked ) and batteries, this tester instead of others, have the three specific option to measure batteries of 1.5 volts ( AAA, AA ) 9v, and 12v ( like solar panels batteries, car batteries and motorcycles batteries ) If you want to learn how to use the other functions, maybe you need to learn basic electronic.

my manual does not show how to do a parasitic draw test. can you explain.
I have the AstroAI DM6000AR - Is it not capable of testing for MFD (microfarads)? I can't find the option on it anywhere.

Well done, keep it up, thank you for sharing it with us :)
Can you test spark plugs with this thing?
You can test continuity but I think that is about it.
can we measure a new capacitor that has not yet been used?
Yes. You can measure new capacitors.
So is this a pretty decent deal / good band for your buck at the price? 🤔. Thx
Seems like a good deal. I haven't had any issues with my AstroAI stuff.

Sounds like a recertification for Electronic Engineers and not for beginners. Glad you could show off to your cohorts..
Way too fast for me. I need kindergartener instructions. Do this, then do that, put the dial on this which does that, etc.

@@AlfredoAntonioMartinez yes I want to learn basic electronic. Which this video failed to teach any of. That's my complaint.
Don't go into sales. Stick with talking fast. Maybe it will work for you..
You said it was True RMS. It's not.
