I love how metroid dread is going for a more horror setting in its presentation. It will be intresting in the story of this game and the deal with these killer robots
For the overall spectrum of E3 including the Keighly stuff, I’d say that I’m probably most excited for that new Metal Slug game, the Evil Dead game, as well as Metroid and WarioWare.
I almost started crying when Metroid Dread was revealed (was at work so couldn't cry) but Nintendo made me wait for 19 years for a continuation to fusion. Fucking finally
My expectations were far below the gutter considering Nintendo's track record in recent memory and the pandemic. But even if I did have high expectations, they knocked them out of the park. This was their best E3 since 2014 in my opinion, and anything I wanted that didn't get shown like Donkey Kong, Kirby, and Animal Crossing completely escaped my mind while watching considering everything else that was shown. I've wanted to see Monkey Ball 1 + 2 on the Switch day one as perfect on the go games, and not only is that finally happening, but they're from the ground up remakes! Classic Mario Party I've wanted on the go since the beginning, too, so Superstars has certainly peaked my interest. WarioWare looks good, seeing Advance Wars get revived is cool, Tekken in Smash is an interesting choice, and while I'm not a Metroid guy, I felt there would be a 2D Metroid pop up, and Dread does look pretty sick. Nintendo has flew by me the past few years with barely any new games I could say I was excited to get day one. 2017 had Mario Odyssey, 2018 had Kirby and Smash, 2019 had nothing, and 2020 had Animal Crossing. Now all of the sudden, I'm looking forward to grabbing WarioWare, Monkey Ball, Mario Party, Pokémon Diamond & Pearl, and Advance Wars, so it's safe to say this is the most excited I've been about gaming in a long time!
The only content I’m excited for is: - Mario & Rabbids: Sparks of Hope - Metroid Dread - WarioWare: Get it Together - Breath Of The Wild 2 & Finally the ultimate reveal of A New Super Monkey Ball!
I didnt set my expectations too high since this year felt... underwhelming.. I was really hoping for monky and a new mario kart o(-< I'm not a metroid fan but I'm so happy for the people who waited like?? 19 years for this?? I hope they have a nice metroid dread
My thoughts... Metroid Dread is coming out near my birthday, so that’s a snag. Botw 2 looks like it has a lot of potential, and the lore nerd in me is already tickled just imagining what it might have in store. I need Monster Hunter Stories. I must have a baby bubble fox. Praying for dlc that includes some of the Rise monsters. And Pokémon was too scared after what happened last time to share any new info about Legends and BDSP.
Metroid Dread was definitely the star of the show for me. It definitely *feels* like a Nintendo project from a different era that’s willing to take some risks and do something different. I know not everybody’s a fan of it but I thought Samus Returns was great so I have faith MercurySteam can do this game justice. Breath of the Wild looked cool and all but outside of a select few shots it looked worryingly close to the first game down to using the same overworld which in and of itself is baffling to me when BotW’s exploration was easily its strongest aspect. I hope they’re saving some sort of bombshell reveal for that game to use at next year’s E3 because after four years I was honestly expecting more than what was shown in that trailer. It looked more like a paid expansion than a full on sequel to me.
2:44 this ape man really put Mario Party in September when it is in very late October I can't believe he screwed up this badly in a TH-cam video of this scale!
I'm not a DK/Nintendo fan at all but I was really hoping for at least a echo for our beloved Monke. But hey at least Starfeild got a trailer for a stupid November 2022 release.
There was no new Donkey Kong but at least the rumors rekindled my interest in the series. Just fully finished DKC2 for the first time and it’s honestly one of the best games I’ve ever played.
Smash didn't have me too disappointed, but I was happy seeing Tekken get a rep. I grew up playing Tekken 1 on PS1 so I got a soft spot for the series. Kazuya definitely looks like he could be fun. That last one though, waiting for that fall or potentially winter reveal at the next game awards is gonna be a pain. Metroid Dread has me very interested, I'm not much of a Metroid fan but seeing a new 2D Metroid game coming out this year has me a little excited especially since the most we know about Prime 4 is that it exists and that's it. Samus's suit looks awesome and seeing that moment in the trailer where she shoots that robot thing before clearly going "Oh shit" and running away was too good. Monkey Ball is a purchase no question. I loved 1 and 2 on the GameCube and I'll happily play them over again with updated visuals. BOTW 2 was eh honestly. I'd like to see more of it but I don't feel strongly about it either way right now. The Zelda Game and Watch was kinda neat I guess. Xbox at least had some decent looking stuff personally, Outer Worlds 2 was a nice surprise and I was eating up the Stalker 2 gameplay like crazy.
I went in to the Nintendo Direct with lots of dreams, but absolutely zero expectations, so I was blown away. Mario Party Superstars is literally all I've ever wanted from Mario Party and I'd gladly keep forking over money like a fool for DLC of more boards and mini games from older games. Holy shit Metroid Dread is finally real. When Metroid 5 appeared on screen, I was excited. When Metroid Dread appeared on screen, I was erect. Wooooo! Monkey Ball! Y'all can keep your bullshit hard physics based rolling game with levels like Spider. Just hook the mini game collection straight to my veins.
After letting it sit I'm kinda interested. Metroid Dread and Mario Golf look sick, that Zelda Game and Watch looks sick, Monkey Ball looks sick, and Warioware makes me mad because Wario Land is the superior Wario series I will die on this hill.
Glad to hear you're gonna try Warioware I was a wario land purist But when I finally tried it out It clicked So trust me, warioware is way more fun than just a minigame collection
I was bummed to see no new information on BDSP + LA. It's like if Game Freak continues to drag our dehydrated bodies through the Groudon droughted desert until the days of their release. It's only a matter of "time" and "space" until they finally give us something to look at just like they did with Sword & Shield where they did this brief news batch nonsense on us once a month before we manage to get our hands on them.
I think a Nintendo is wanting DK to have some breathing room and not wanting to repeat history. I think it’s gonna be announced for 2022 in fall then a release date before Breath of The Wild 2 and after Pokémon.
I'm glad they left the last slot open for Smash. It'll give Nintendo a chance to make the last character worth the reveal. Might as well go with a bang like Sephiroth's.
Glad I kept my expectations low. I really wasn't impressed with the vast majority of the reveals. A lot of it just felt like retreading ground we've already seen before, either with old news or remakes. Metroid Dread alone was single-handedly responsible for 95% of my joy in that presentation.
Honestly having dk kinda would have made the direct actually really good. There are some actually good games but nothing that piqued my interests. Monkey ball could be fun but I've never played any of the previous titles of most of this games or the ones getting updates. Metroid be looking really amazing though
Eiji Aonuma straight up said there is no Zelda 35th anniversary besides the Game & Watch. I had a feeling that would be the case, but I kept my mouth shut to not get crucified. If Zelda gets so little, DK has less than no chance.
Metroid Dread, Fatle Frame 5 port, and monkey ball all stars where vary nice surprises i didn't expect at all... Still no Bayonetta 3 news... What has it been like 1,138 days 22 hours and 48 minuets since the last time we go an update for it?......
My reaction to the Nintendo Direct for E3 was pretty good a lot of new games are show and old games making comebacks like Super Monkey Ball and Advance Wars and the game I'm super hyped for is Mario + Rabbids Sparks Of Hope in 2022 those are my thoughts on the E3 Direct for Nintendo.
Yeah it was weird that Square spent SO much time on Guardians, and the Final Fantasy Origins trailer was very meme worthy, but both actually look like fun games, so I'd say they did alright. Also I thought their Pixel Remasters of the first 6 FF games seem neat. Because the LAST mobile remasters those games got were those ones with a really awful artstyle and ugly UI menus, so seeing them all get done in new pixel art will be cool. Yeah some of em have been done before like on PSP releases, but still a couple haven't so I'm down.
I would have liked if the Nintendo Direct started with BOTW 2 just because we knew about it for a good while now and to get it out of the way early and end with Metroid Dread since it's a new title thats coming out later this year where as BOTW 2 is going to be coming out next year, don't get me wrong i'm still exited for it but I get when people look at it and go yep that is indeed BOTW but more and feel a little meh about it for being the last one shown at the direct.
I didn’t get to watch the others because I wasn’t much of an Xbox person, I never gotten a PS4 or a Ps5 so they were ignored for me, the Capcom one was boring because they had 3(I’m counting classic and X legacy collections as 1) legacy collections and many were expecting to see MegaMan legends collection but never happened. Nintendo’s was pretty good. I never played tekken but I didn’t mind because again, smash bros(for me at least) is showing characters from different games that I want to try(even if I played their original series of games, it makes me wanna come back and play it again) so maybe one day I might get tekken. I did enjoy some of the reveals and all, especially for Metroid Dread, Monkey Ball, and wario ware. BOTW2 news is fine to me. Hopefully, this year we can get the last smash dlc so no more rumors go around because it’s boring and tiresome. Anyway, those were my thoughts.
Metroid Dread and the new Mario + Rabbids got me excited, I'm kinda considering the new monkey ball
you guys should play the speed racer video game
Hello wii
Ubisoft woulda been good if they brought back Rayman....
My 5d chess guess was correct we expect donkey we get metroid.
I love how metroid dread is going for a more horror setting in its presentation. It will be intresting in the story of this game and the deal with these killer robots

I almost started crying when Metroid Dread was revealed (was at work so couldn't cry) but Nintendo made me wait for 19 years for a continuation to fusion. Fucking finally
I’m willing to give Guardians of the Galaxy a chance, especially since it wasn’t Crystal Dynamics who are making it
My expectations were far below the gutter considering Nintendo's track record in recent memory and the pandemic. But even if I did have high expectations, they knocked them out of the park. "There is a fricking lawnmower outside." Oh god i need oxygen!
Didn't even knew you had a gaming channel. This is top quality stuff man hope you upload a video this month
The thing I'm most surprised about is that they didn't announce a new Kirbo game, maybe in the next direct we'll get it with DK
4:28 I kid you not, I actually heard your voice in my head when they announced free updates for Mario Golf
Metroid Dread was definitely the star of the show for me. It definitely *feels* like a Nintendo project from a different era that’s willing to take some risks and do something different. I would rather had a new Donkey Kong than any Zelda news.
Even though we didn't get Donkey Kong at least we got some type of monkee!

"I think it (Mario Golf) will be a complete package."

Honestly it was just WarioWare get it together that just got me hyped
I'm not a DK/Nintendo fan at all but I was really hoping for at least a echo for our beloved Monke.
But hey at least Starfeild got a trailer for a stupid November 2022 release.
I'm excited for Stanley Parable Purple Edition.
There was no new Donkey Kong but at least the rumors rekindled my interest in the series. Just fully finished DKC2 for the first time and it’s honestly one of the best games I’ve ever played.
I did your monkey ball reaction to my little brother when the reveal happened and he was confused.
I was kinda disappointed that DK wasn't shown. But oh my god metroid dread looks amazing
I'm gonna pick up Warioware for sure. And it comes out on my birthday too
Smash didn't have me too disappointed, but I was happy seeing Tekken get a rep. I grew up playing Tekken 1 on PS1 so I got a soft spot for the series. Kazuya definitely looks like he could be fun. Can we just talk about how they thought it was a good idea to extend the presentation of the little zelda watch to 10 minutes?
I went in to the Nintendo Direct with lots of dreams, but absolutely zero expectations, so I was blown away.
Mario Party Superstars is literally all I've ever wanted from Mario Party and I'd gladly keep forking over money like a fool for DLC of more boards and mini games from older games.

Glad to hear you're gonna try Warioware
I was a wario land purist
But when I finally tried it out
It clicked
So trust me, warioware is way more fun than just a minigame collection
This E3 was basically just "Nintendo and friends, and 2K also"
New Metroid, New Mario Party, New Warioware, in my opinion, Nintendo was pretty amazing.
I was bummed to see no new information on BDSP + LA. It's like if Game Freak continues to drag our dehydrated bodies through the Groudon droughted desert until the days of their release. I was disappointed that it was not BOTW in space.

Dude you gotta do a let's play of that new monkey ball in the future.

Hey Mr.Monkee, when will you upload on your First Upload?
Gimme that sweet sweet DK copium
I saw dangonronpa... That was good to see
I was rly hoping at like the end of the direct they would say that they were done then DK would break the screen then BAM new dk game but i guess not.
Maybe donkey Kong get an anniversary direct
They didn’t do one for Zelda, so I doubt it.
