Yep I dont get why they still do it Tigers have one of the best memories of all animals including humans… their memory is better then humans and they dont forget so I wonder how they always try it I know its also playing and that they do this to each other loved ones so their mother or siblings to play and act and learn hunting on themselves but there are also videos where they jump on that glass and are disappointed somehow or didnt think that there is glass and that is somehow weird imo
@@SPG063 I think it's simply a case of having a less developed form of cognition. They probably don't have the capacity to fully understand how glass works.. For example, few animals have the capacity to recognise their own reflection, they may well have better memories than ours, but they cannot comprehend what a reflection is and will therefore always think the reflection is another creature.

Now imagine how your ancestors felt with this apex predator standing in the middle of the dirt pathway, between you and your village, and all you had was a spear. Even behind glass, this is terrifying.
This is exactly how one of my cats stalks chipmunks. Except my cat flattens himself in the grass and will lie motionless for as long as necessary until the Strike happens. That cat may look fluffy and ridiculous, but he's a ridiculous hunter. That Tiger spirit is still in there somewhere.

I work at a zoo as security and something like this happened to me only it was a female lion 🦁. I was on my way out of the zoo after my shift with another coworker. We had to walk by the lions territory and we noticed the lion was watching us behind the glass. The more we walked away the more we’d look back and notice it was still looking at us like lunch. I’m like “thank God there’s a glass wall between us” lol it was pretty cool but surreal at the same time
you'd know if it wanted to attack you because of the way it approached. By the posture it looks like it was just curious and wanted to check you guys out

I heard in documents that if you see the tiger, know that he has not decided to kill you yet, and if he decides to kill you, you will never see him.
