- We tested the Yamaha R15 v3 on the MMRT circuit in Chennai, where we answered a lot of your questions. And the bike was quite impressive out on the race track. Now we've got the R15 v3 with us in the real world, where we put it through a battery of tests in the city, out on the highway and even on some twisty mountain roads to find out just what it's like to live with the bike in everyday conditions. I have owned the V3 for over 2 months now, and this review is close to perfect. I agree with everything but except for few things.. my wrist never came in between the tank and clip-ons.. being 5.7 I never really faced any problems in traffic... And as far as the U-turn goes.. u should know the right technique to do it..
Apart from this.. this is the best and honest review of them all.

What about vibrations in handlebar? After 7000 rpm there are lots of vibration in my v3.

stock wheel is little skidy while cornering, yes I had little back & wrist pain in d beginning, bt now yes I'm used to it.
I have a V3 of my own. I love it but just done agree with heating issue in traffic.

R15 is an extremely Supersport styled motorcycle and the performance is too top class..... I own a fz25 and I always have a eye on r15 v3

Vishnu Sharma it is a pleasant motorcycle..... What a acceleration, in no time you would be in 100kmph.....it's faster than rtr and ns200.... And as well it returns me a mileage of about 39 in city and 42 in highways.... But you should consider that there is a little buzz in the handle and footpegs. If im there in your situation would definitely go for r15 v3
Vishnu Sharma afcourse v3..bettr performance.. Mileage... Looks... Top speed.. Technology.. It only lacks in abs.. Well its only a 150cc bike.. Nd yamaha knows abs is only for amul babys in 150cc category.

Yes the bad seats or the poor quality materials used in the seat, also this bike give you a wrist and shoulder pain when you drive it above 10km, very uncomfortable bike for long run, performance wise superb mind blowing

This is the 150cc engine you want for touring fuel efficiency of 45-47kmpl & speed of 100-110kmph it can go up to 140kmph if needed
But riding positions is too committed if it has slightly less committed riding positions this could have been the best All-rounder 150cc bike be it style, top speed, looks,

Raj Gajbhiye what can you expect from a sport bike? If you expect an upright position go settle for cruisers.

I know sport's bike don't have an upright position and I am not expecting upright position, I am saying that not every sport bike have that much committed seating position yamaha could have given it little less committed seating position just like they did with R3 which would have made r15 more appealing to most of the people
