Lady Elliot Island - Some of the best snorkelling in the world

We recently took a quick trip up north to escape the winter cold. We spent a few days on Fraser Island (video coming soon) followed up by three nights on Lady Elliot Island, a short flight out from Hervey Bay.
Lady Elliot has the best snorkelling we've ever experienced and it's also a haven for divers from around the world.
While there we were treated to passing Humpback whales frolicking just off shore and we swam with Manta Rays, sharks, squid, a ridiculous variety of fish and more turtles than we have ever seen in one place. The water clarity was exceptional and we were also fortunate to have very calm waters during our stay.
