    You might wonder how eating all that dirt and twigs don't grind the molars down to nothing and that is kind of what happens except that instead of going to the elephant dentist and having crowns put on the elephant molars continue to be replaced, as I recall up yo seven times. Elephant poop is so high in fiber that it can be processed into paper. The roots of plants are often more nutritional than the above ground part so the tusks that plow up the ground actually are an advantage.

    He is one of the last African Elephant super tusker and the fact they are not straight is probably why He was not poached because while some poach for the Ivory others poach for throaty. If you look at videos from a decade ago the big tuskers had straight equal tusks and much more physical mass, buit like a tank, there are none like that anymore.

    Those tusks would look great polished up and placed on either side of my fireplace!
