Oklahoma City Thunder Guard Zavier Simpson has had a standout season in the G-League playing for the Oklahoma City Blue. He was Called up to the Thunder's main roster late during the seaon and was able to show off his signature hook shot. The hook shot that he has been shooting since he played at Michigan University. Also where he got the nickname "Captain Hook". He has recently gone viral on social media due to his amazing hook shot.

Kareem did a hook shot, Zavier Simpson’s hook shot is more of a running hook shot which is more effective for someone his size, Kareem did a regular hook shot because he had the height, Zavier is only six foot, so he had to find a way to make his hook shot more effective because of his height.

I am an undersized basketball player, I use this move all the time and the hook shot is unguardable if you do it right, it is impossible to block this kind of hook shot because it is a running hook shot so a taller defender won’t have time to block it because the basketball will already be in the air before their feet even leave the ground.
