It is one of my favorite trait's of the Burmese. Mine becomes talkative and starts pacing when she want's to run around and play fetch. This little Matilda is such a little prize. Fetch is an an all time favorite. Mine will lose a little fetch toy I make. Then suddenly one day I find it on my bed or my keyboard.
Beautiful Matilda. My Burmese is so different now. She lives in a huge house in an area with trees and critters. She now hisses and puffs her tail, and in L.A. county, near the beach, she never did that. Now all of the smells here have stimulated her hunter instinct and she is so much fun to just watch. I hear her at night scampering all over the place. California is beautiful but Arkansas is heaven. At least where I live......
You know how ur cat follows u around a lot, but occasionally takes a brake. Well with 4 they take turns. Sometimes I give them treats downstairs and go upstairs to lock myself in the bedroom just for 10 minutes. There is always at least one with me when I'm home. It's cute most of the time.
I've got 6 Burmese cats. I can assure you , hands down , they are THE BEST cat breed in the world. Very demanding. They always expect attention , they expect love. They are super clingy and jealous. Just the best breed out there. Don't get a Burmese unless you are an absolute cat mad person. I don't mean you love cats .... I mean you are obsessed with cats ... Of cats are your obsession, then get a burn .

A lovely video featuring Mathilda on her own, but I could see Lena supervising from a distance, happy to share the limelight. Mathilda is affectionate , intelligent and loves the attention. Photography is good enough that I can almost feel her sleek fur, how I would love to pat her! A gorgeous yet mighty hunter, and what a beautiful coat! Two of my boys, Seti and Grendel, love playing fetch. I always know they want to play when I hear that distinct meow Cats make when holding a toy in their mouth. They will haunt the hallway, carrying on with that silly, imploring meow until I entertain them. What is the demeanor of a Burmese? Hellions or lap/petting Cats? I ask as I was once lucky enough to have a Siamese in my life, a chocolate point. Cleopatra was one of the moist diabolical, fiendish Feline familiars I have ever known... very sneaky, very bitey, loved jumping me by surprise.. serious, if you've ever seen "The Pink Panther Strikes Again" (1976) then she was the Cato to my Inspector Clouseau. But she was also a big baby. Are Burmese as diabolical?
When I had a cat, it liked the wand toy. This cat looks like it could do without the wand, and just play fetch with the toy. Of course my cat was not burmese. I think it may be the burmese temperament. Just my 2 cents.

It's a coincidence that you liked this comment just now. Unfortunately, both my cats have passed away since then...one of them had cancer and the second one (I think) was depressed over losing her sister. Even so, I'm glad they're at peace, and they live on in my heart.

Nope. Sable means chocolate brown (I have a video of one on my channel. My Zephyr is solid brown.) Champaigne is a warm gray. Matilda has a Burmese build but is seal-point like a Siamese.
All cats are a joy, but Burmese cats are on a whole other level to me.

My lilac burmese girl used to do this when she was young. Rolled up socks were her favourite to fetch. She can't be bothered any more (she's 17)

The Burmese is definitely a lap cat, but then they are also diabolical. They are a dream made cat
