My siamese died last year. I miss him so much yet...I can't forget the lovely one...
we adopted 6 weeks ago an 8 year old siamese who lived with 20 cats in horrible neglected filthy conditions. in a garage with no litter boxes.. we could not get over how within hours he turned into a fantastic pet. if we sat on one couch and switch to another he would follow, we were never out of his sight.purring kneading by our side constantly.no lap sitting and not used being picked up yet! when we took him to the vet through all the probing and applying of meds .he was a perfect gentelman even during clipping of very long nails his ears had a fungus that was so painful his eyes were in a constant squint. i could not even establish that his eyes were blue. he had been chewing so much on his skin that he had little wounds.more treatment.. now he is very healthy sleeps less and zooms around the house each morning pretending to be chased.it is so obvious he loves us, We adore this cat and he knows it! II wish you all could see him! he is a seal point and now with thick coat and beautiful markings. everyone that sees him comments on that. Bye the way all his littermates have been adopted also.
Many great memories of my own three Siamese "critters" that I grew up with. Loving to the max but oh so naughty!

Yes I would like to add three more to my 3. I love the breed. My babies don't talk though, I guess they don't need too. I have had many Siamese in my life time, and they have all had many different personalities. They are like having 3 busy two year old kids running around the house. Love those cats

My Siamese Cat Chica used to snore when she slept. I thought it was funny and I would leave her alone and let her sleep, and other times I would put my face as close to her as possible and she would pop her head up and look at me. Love and miss my cat, R.I.P. Beautiful precious Chica.

(in English, Lovely Girl 🐱) She was afraid to go outside the house, so after she passed away, I imagined that I would walk with her at work. I imagined that she was traveling with me. I imagined she sleeping on top of me even on the beach. Then I smiled. But I also deeply understand your suffering. You lost the family that was most important to you. I am praying for your health from a distant country.

On the Siamese cat snoring that sounds very cute I also had a Siamese cat which was a short-haired Himalayan his name was Mr Tom and what Mr Tom do would do is he would snore basically when he sleeps and we would hear his snoring basically when you get up close to him that's what he would do when he sleeps he snores a lot

My girl talks a lot. One thing I’ve found for the first time in a cat is that she loves her back scratched, but against the direction of the fur. Other cats I have had hated that. She’s never snored 🤣 but has to be in contact with me at all times. Either sat on my lap or on my back if I’m asleep. Siamese are lovely affectionate cats with a serious personality. I’ve had lots of cats but this one stands out for companionship in a similar way to a dog. Love your videos.
All of my Siamese have loved two things - a long conversation at high volume, and the most vigorous whole body rubs. We're talking motorcycle purr levels when being attacked by four hands rubbing furiously over a cat barely big enough to have the surface area to allow that.
@@blackjacktrial absolutely. She can lie for ages with me just scratching her all over. She is one of the few cats that like the fur rubbed forward and backwards.

I was going to get two siamese kittens until I found out that they couldn't live in small spaces cus they're pretty energetic..
I'm still not sure though but if I provide them with the right amount of attention and supplies? Can they stay in my apartment? It's pretty small tho

Your cats are absolutely adorable they are so beautiful. I have had 3 Siamese cats and I miss having a Siamese so much if I ever could get a cat I would get a Siamese but I am extremely allergic to him so I can't anymore. So I am going to continue watching your videos so I could enjoy your cats

My 2 Siamese cats CHICA (Mom) & LUCY (her daughter) would sleep on me and under the covers also. They should have not allowed them to harm the Praying Mantis. I would have put it up in a tree. Mantis are important for the eco-system
These look like behaviors I've seen in my cats (4 American Shorthairs, 1 Siamese, 2 Brit shorthairs) except 1 and 6. The air kneading is new to me. Kittens do that when nursing to get milk flowing so maybe Carrie was dreaming/remembering kittenhood.
Re. #5, 6 of my 8 cats were lap-addicts (YES literally).

I love them, miss them. At 70, I have prayed, asking God... is it fair to rescue at my age? I'm healthy, have my own home (cat friendly), and I'm retired (financally solid), but mortality issues (them or me) are scary. My physician, close friend,s all encourage me to "rescue", but I don't know if I can emotionally handle their deaths? Comments?
I understand your feelings. We have similar concerns. Because Siamese cats, on average, are long-lived and live 20 years. We have to protect our health and theirs.
I think it is very good that you are rescuing them. If you should die first, it is a good idea to find a kind person beforehand who will take care of the cats afterwards.
The death of a cat is quite painful. It would be good to have a friend or companion so that you don't have to grieve alone before your heart dries up.🍀

They are a needy cat who love people and need to be near them or on them. I love that in a cat but it’s not for everyone.
I think I'm starting to agree. I always wanted a siamese, but I do like to open the back door and have a break occasionally. My moggy gives his paw, has meowing conversation's with me, kneads everything. But he also likes to disappear for up to 6 hours (especially on bin night) I couldn't have an indoor only cat. Maybe these cats don't have the same energy levels? But the constant meowing, occasionally get's annoying. And I love my cat.

Quite different body shapes; are they from different countries? The "modern" angular shape is more European/Australasian standard I think. The "old" / American style looks more like the Burmese I am used to.
