I just added this FCS Magwell to my M&P 2.0 3.6 Compact. The fit is spot on once you get it properly aligned. I've got 3 of his base plates as well and will possibly buy more. They fit perfect just as advertised. Great job Floyd!
My wagwell install was extremely tight. I had to file a bit of material off the front and I think I filed a bit too much but it's still solid enough. A very nice product. Well worth the money in retrospect. Thanks for supporting a platform that is often overlooked. I'll look to you guys for any work I want slide work done in the future.
A little tricky to install but just take your time, fit is perfect, quality is awesome, and really makes the grip feel a lot better and much faster reloads
unfortunately its not possible to get a proper magwell for the M&P to use stock base plates. they are designed to match the size and shape of the frame while the magwell is designed to funnel the mag seamlessly into the frame. to make it work it would be more of a grip enhancement then a magwell.
I think I would actually really like just a “grip enhancement”. The main thing that has me interested in this mag well is the extended lip and improved grip it gives. I think for the purpose of concealment, just a grip enhancement isn’t a bad idea!

When I saw this video last week I was impressed. I had thought about a magwell for my Sig P320 X-VTAC. But when I saw this video, I thought it would be great to have one on my M&P which I use for training. It came yesterday and I installed it today along with five +2 base plates. I am very pleased with the ease and simplicity of installation. My +2 baseplates only add 1 round. Am I missing something? Aside from having my gun milled for a red dot sight and adding an Apex trigger this is my favorite mod for my M&P. Does Floyd’s have a magwell for a Sig P320 X?
Make sure you have removed the stock locking plates on the +2s that’s the most common problem. Otherwise the last round is very tight but will work it’s way in overtime. We make +6s for the p320, but ended up not liking the gun very much so never made a Magwell for it
The Magwell is designed to funnel the mag into the frame, it also gives you an enhanced grip on the gun, giving you more control of the recoil. Not sure what extensions that come with the gun you are talking about, but we make plates, +2 extensions that sit nice and tight to the Magwell so that they are discrete and print less then the full-size mags with the spacer sleeve, holding the same amount of rounds. We also make a +6 which is great for your backup mags or mags you don’t need to conceal. You also don’t have to adjust your grip to not pinch your finger when loading the mags like most people have to with the shorter compact frame, and if you use the full-size mag with the spacers that come with the gun then they slide around and aren’t good for keeping in a mag pouch and loading quickly.
No the shields and shield plus have too short of frames, would need to be a grip extension aswell as a Magwell. Could make longer plates for the plus but the capacity can’t be increased because of the rails on the plus mags going inward rather then outward
I have a S&W 2.0 9mm 4.25 and would love to run your magwell. I am curious if you have any input if the factory S&W 23 rnd magazines will work with this magwell since it has such a low profile base plate.
The 4.25” is the full-size model so you will need the full-size Magwell. Just clarifying because this is the compact video and and people have made that mistake. The 23rnd mag will work if you modify the plate. The top edges need to be chamfered.
The magwell helps with mag changes by funneling the mag into the frame, it also gives you a nice tight grip and purchase point witch helps with controlling recoil.
The extensions will fit all the normal m&p double stack mags. I'm guessing you are talking about the .40cal compact mags, yes they will work on our magwell with our extensions or plates. But not with the stock plates.
I have not heard anything about that. If they use the same mags our extensions would work. But if there mags are built different on the bottom then they wouldn’t. As for the frame. I doubt the bottom of the frame would be the same as the M&p unless they really ripped off the M&p
What about the 2.0 M&P metal frame? Will taking the magwell do the same thing over time, if you take it off more than a few times? I don't think I ever will. Cause I have the correct palm swell on my pistol. Just curious tho on the damage if any on the metal frame 2.0 metal. Thank you
Well because of our pin system locking the Magwell in after it’s installed you can change the palm swells without removing the magwell, only the pin. But the full-size and metal frames are completely different on how they attach in-front. So no risk of wearing the attachment point.

No the gen 1 is like the subcompact. You would need it to be grip extension, needing longer mags and extensions. Essentially making it a 2.0 compact frame.

No proper magwell works with the stock baseplates. They are designed to match the size and shape of the frame. Where a magwell funnels the mag I to the frame and needs a tighter plate or extension.
TTI are hit and miss. They have some sizing issues. Some of there extensions have a good chamfer around the top and will work. Others have a small chamfer and won’t fit, we can only guarantee our own extensions to work.

No it is for the 2.0 compact only, the 1.0 compact has a much shorter grip and not enough proper space for a magwell. We do make them for the 1.0 full size frames though.

Sorry that this product isn’t for you. The Magwell enhances your grip for better control on the pistol, as well as making mag changes easier and faster as the funnel of the Magwell helps guide it in if your aim is a little off. I’m glad you like your stock guns, and I won’t judge you for it.

Right on! The original mags yes, but you will need to change out the base plates for ours or our extensions.

I’m very ocd about that grip frame tool moving and not being perfectly lined up. Looks like this would fit the bill to remove that “issue”

Whats the point of a mag well? Just curious. my M&P 2.0 compact came with one and night sights that I traded my g19 for.

This is the one for the compact frame, you will need the fullsize EDC and select the 2.0 one.
