If I owned a house that was used in any movie, I would try to make and keep it to look like it did in the movie. Shoot I would probably even put up a sign or plaque telling people all about it. I love this movie. I just had a Marathon watching all the movies a few days ago.
Why aren't more people into seeing film locations? I find it so cool to see iconic locations from movies.... Also something to keep in mind, NC gets slammed by hurricanes fairly regularly, so things like roofs, and docks, and smaller buildings probably have been rebuilt once or twice since 1997.
That's true! Didn't really consider that. Missy's house took a lot of damage from a couple of recent ones. The caretaker was telling me he just keeps everything on the second floor at this point.
@@GoingtotheMovies Oh cool, thats interesting! I might take your idea of going to filming locations and take my gf to some different places around me, they are perfect weekend trips that are cheap, and fun. Keep it up guys!
I grew up in a fishing town and was 13 when I Know came out. It was so relatable to see a fun slasher movie take place in an environment that resembled my own home town experience.
Great video, I'm from Argentina and I remember watching this movie in the theater back in the days when I was a teenager and I loved every minute of the film, I also remember I had to lie about my age to be able to go into the theater 😅
I usually have a similar experience, though sometimes I am actually blown away. Usually for movies that I watched a ton as a kid, like Airborne or Home Alone.
My dream is to visit these locations, but I live very far away. Thanks for the detailed information. This is my favorite movie. I am very happy, I hope one day I saw these places. Greetings from Bulgaria. It makes me so happy
I live like an hour and a half from southport and never realized alot of this movie was filmed there lol i was always watching this movie growing i lived in Illinois in the 90s though
Very nice. That really is a beautiful area for a movie location. The movie companies spend a ton of money for changing the color and the look of the exteriors. You nailed another one! Howdy from Texas!
That’s where we went after! Virginia’s family all lives in Norfolk, so we visited them and shot a video of one of my favorite “so-bad-it’s-good” movies. Can’t wait for you to see that one!
Amazing work in show most of all the locations on this film ,. I would liked to know the location where Max used to work ,.I believe it's was a fish and crab processor!
Im from Germany and I think even the old houses like helens are so interesting and looks so comfy :) I love American horror movies I hope I can visit one day
It’s certainly cozier than the urban sprawl that we typically have here. I’m currently trying to plan a trip to Germany myself! I really want to visit the spots from Lola Rennt and see the Das Boot set in Munich.
Great job!! I love Wilmington! So many movies and shows filmed there. I remember going to screen gems and The Crow locations back in '04 or earlier maybe? I knew I knew the pic you posted earlier lol! 🤪 Did see Katie Holmes pumping gas there though!
Hey Crush! Thanks! What Crow locations did you hit? I hit the cement factory, Screen Gems, and the hospital where they took Brandon Lee. Aside from the factory, were there any actual locations outside of the soundstages?
@@GoingtotheMovies Yes! The alley right outside the Barbary Coast bar and the next building is the fire escape he's standing on outside of Funboy's apartment. They had great stories of Brandon and Eliza in the Barbary and it was one of their favorite places. Ofcourse, the hospital sadly. The stage 4 and tour that didn't even mention anything related to it so I asked lol. I remember the Ideal Cement factory was the hardest to find. Have you done a Crow video? Did I miss it?! 😲 Fun Boy's fire escape is the only there was. I have an actual pic of it somewhere.
@@GoingtotheMovies I can't wait! I did a street view just now and I believe it's the alley between front st brewery and port city Java. A bit up the same street but, it's been a while lol!

Your brilliant job of lining up the shots is Amazing just love this channel Thank you
Thanks, Rob!!
Great job! I can see why the director used Elsa's store for the chase scene, it's a spatially interesting location.
Wonderful video and great editing! Wow I like how you align the images in the film to your video
I love filming locations, its honestly always less cool to see it in person than I think it will be yet I absolutely love the thrill.

Want to mention, this use of drone footage is amazing bro
Thanks!! 🙏
Thanks for doing this. This is an iconic film.
this was so well done! i appreciate it, big fan of the film and the tone that the setting creates. you can smell the fresh air and feel the breeze.
Thanks, Brian! I totally agree. Great place to film a movie!
Thank you Ryan &. Virginia! Great as usual. Appreciate your style and all the details.
Thanks, Rosanna!

Short and sweet! Nice arrangement!

There was a lady working inside who let us in!
Love scene lineup integrations

@@GoingtotheMovies you’re welcome. Oh ok cool
Likin' the vibe of this one and the music. Seems like the 90s was just like yesterday.
There’s nothing like the 90s!
This is amazing!!! Your editing is perfection. Can you please do Dawson's Creek filming locations?
Thank you so much! I have only seen a couple of episodes of Dawson’s Creek but I wouldn’t be opposed to it!
