Yeah I understand how you feel. It's kinda suck that the deck's only viable way to being good is floodgate turbo but at the very least, it's damn good at it and quite effective as well. But it's also good enough at breaking board and otk'ing while go second. Just shove all the kaijus and boardbreakers into the deck and with the help of Dominator Duke's change of heart like effect, you got yourselves a cyber dragon like style of otk'ing.
Someone mentioned me that in order to thrive on this unfair game, you need an unfair advantage... With that being said... Lava golem at 3 & 2 Sphere mode, with Magilibra for syncrhos like Symphonic warrior rocks, or Icejade, cause fk floodgates (Still want cards that help me recover from GY to go for XYZ like Bahamut Shark or Gear giant X)
It's the only thing it can do when going first. I usually go second with vaylantz and fight all the interaction. This deck can plus my hand like D-link
Honestly, Vaylantz is my favorite deck in the game. They're unique, they combo insanely well (despite being a bit all-in), they can potentially combo off with SO many 2 card combos and some being 1 card combo.
I have been playing this deck for a while, and I feel like an asshole expending like 3min comboig shit just to past turn and the opponnent to realize that they can't do anything. Everytime I fail the combo or someone breaks through I think "yeah, I deserve to lose. I'm an asshole for playing this". Thank you for the video and making me a horrible person
I JUST got the alt art IP masq, and I've been working on building this deck ever since the support came out. AGAIN you release a guide at the perfect time. First was d/d/d now Vaylantz. Thank you for everything you do.
In fact Small world can search for Lava golem with any Vaylantz, as long as you run the opposite levels that is (Or any card, like Maxx C being lvl 2, Ash being fire & so on) Do you know of cards that help recovering from GY / Extra deck? Closest thing I found was Rescue hamster As expected, superb guide, while you focused too much on stun variant, guess is a matter of practice for going 2nd version, as not all fields will be the same (Sometimes take a monster with Duke, cut / negate with Saion, etc)
It's really complicated to make a going 2nd guide becuz it depends on the board and hand drawn cards, much like non linear deck..it really based on player's own skill to break board with what resource they had..

there is a combo when you dont have your normal summon, you can point the Raten to the Gallant Granite so you can special summon your Pachy at your opponents Standby phase. Also can pop and opponents card in each Battle phase.@@fafnirymd
In your opinion which is the better version between the 2 lists? do you think naturia exterio fits in the deck, maybe evoking it with cyberstein? and why in the 2 initial decklist there is no hojo while in the final replay you use it in the deck instead of what you replaced it?
all and all going 2nd is better, but its way more difficult, but then the stun version, usually maxx c and ash blossom could kill the combo pretty easily, Cyberstein is banned my friend remove hojo its no longer used anymore
This deck is fun and good in current META since Mikanko exist but the problem is that everyone is playing floodgates, FTK like this. I did too but it still can be counter with simple spell and card. Labyrinth is too toxic, I hate them.
This Guide is awesome, you explained too much combos, lore of archetype and include a little tips about small world and Okami(a Good card seriously). I will keep seeing your guides and videos, very good job seriously 🦭💙

Pendulum Paradox recovers from ED, Selene can recover Spellcasters and Gizmek Frog can recover Machine from grave
Oh i forgot about Cross-Sheep it recovers lvl4s, it's probably the best one
