Definitely. I have used dewgong lead and it's extremely effective. Nidoqueen always switches but hypno almost never does because they have thunder punch. You reach icy wind before thunder punch, shield the first punch and then you win.

Sad to see Kanto Cup go. I ran with Fell Stinger Beedrill, shadow Golbat, and Kangaskhan for my team. It worked rather well, but I would have liked to replace Kangaskhan with something to deal with Hypno and Alolan Marowak. I was originally going to try triple Poison, but did not have an Alolan Grimer low CP enough for Muk to compete and I did not want to invest so much candy/stardust into a suboptimal Alolan Grimer.

Just gave FB Mew a battle. Got a nice vocal boom against an A-Muk with two shields. Absolutely flipped the match. Led with Payback Champ and Voltorb as a safe swap.

In 3 days I went from 2175 to 2534 .7 days left and have the best team for great league when it returns tomorrow hopefully I'll hit a record of hitting legend in least days from ace ranking
I tried using normal charged tm's to get a move i wanted on mew in my more noobish days like a month ago.. that little bugger has way too many moves.. i used like 20 and didnt get it.. whatever it was i was going for.
As well as cover for the insanely op normal types in the meta chansey and lickitung, aswell as snorlax although i wouldnt really call that op just good

I'm the trainer in 4:17, I was chatting with friends and wasn't paying much attention to the game at that moment so I didn't realize at that time that I get to battle you. I remembered this matchup as I was shocked by the flame charge. I didn't shield my Machamp cause shields are more important as both Mew and Beedrill can handle your Machamp with shields up. My mistake is shielding the surf from Lapras, I regretted it as soon as I shield. I thought I still have the win con but that 1HP from your Machamp really flipped the match. Anyways I enjoyed Kanto Cup really much. That team carried me from 2400s to 2992, I reached veteran for the very first time in Halloween cup, and wasn't grinding exactly because I'd already reached my goal. It broke my heart when I went 2-3 during the last set and tanked to 2700s when Great league started again. This could be my one and only chance to hit legend, but I messed up. This is an exciting season, I feel like I'm on a roller coaster. IF ONLY I can make it to legend.
Seriously wish they’d stop forcing me to catch all the legendary Pokémon from rewards and give a flee option it’s just a colossal waste of resources if you don’t want it

Great idea running fighting moves, i was using focus blast on hypno, but to be honest, mew looks like a better option for that role.

I've been using Focus Blast as well, along with Rock Slide, Surf or Overheat. Such a fun moveset to use, including in UItra and Great leagues.
