Thanks for doing this night time video of the RX. It’s always been my favorite thing about this car. The lux model is a must for this car, because most its features, and driving experience is so close to the Its cousin the 2020 Highlander Platnium.
Great night time light reviews. I like that you show interacting with the various features and how the cars lights respond. My only suggestion would be to identify the year, model, trim level, options (especially if you are demonstrating lights that come as part add on option or are standard). I also like the the editing and music choices. I really enjoy this!
Don’t understand made in Canada. They are all made in Japan....why some say made in Canada? Thanks for showing the lights this vehicle has! You are the only one I have found. Just learning about the safest car out there. So far the Lexus RX 350 seems to be the one.

Thanks for your feedback. It took a lot of work to get the image you see in the thumbnail... more than one day if I remember correctly. Probably one the best thumbnails on the internet IMO :)
I have a 2020 rx350l and mine do - I love that it does that! I also have a lot more ambient lighting in the floors, doors, and dash than shown here. Even with my brightness set at 50%, it is quite nice at night and not a struggle to see anything
There are way too many automatic features on new vehicles in my opinion. And it automatically lighting up when you approach it is a terrible idea in my opinion as well. You should be able to click if you want but never automatically! I work at a dealership on cars and I have so much trouble locking the vehicle it sucks time out of my day.
Great vehicle! But, I agree about too many auto features. People today are either lazy or lacking in driving skills to need all this assistance! I’m afraid it’s just gonna be a pile of money having to fix things that I don’t even need because when they go out they’ll probably be affecting something I do need 🤨! 😅
My 2020 has optional LED ambient lighting package…LED lights all along curves on interior doors, lighted Lexus emblem in door sills, and LED lights over glove compartment
Mike, I love your night drives! So much more styling is being put into vehicles with the ambient lighting and that’s something I personally want to see!
I can't believe they didn't put any illumination in the doors. My 2013 GS has really cool LED strips behind the wood-grain door panels, as well as the door release handle. Little things that just go away...too bad.
You know I like the way Lexus implements this feature 17:05 because the doors stay locked. I had rental 2020 BMW 330i that had this same feature except the car unlocked, the mirrors unfolded and the head and tail lights illuminated as you got close.
the models from 2009-2014 had headlamps which turn into a corner depending on speed and steering wheel angle ! Models from 2015 until now only come with cheap simple On/Off bulbs like a KIA. I always enjoy my headlamps in darkness doing this wonderful move with the cars driving line.

Toyota, Audi and BMW have been trying for six years to get FMVSS 108 changed to permit new and potentially lifesaving headlight technologies."

The drivers side Xenon/LED light beam is required by law to be lower than the passenger side beam to avoid blinding oncoming drivers.

Do the cornering lights have to be activated with fog light on? Or just even automatic with fog light off?

Japanese cars suck when it comes to interior lighting.
Japanese auto makers need to up their interior ambient lightning game.
They have done so for Acura in their A-Spec and Advance packages. Looks really good in the TLX model.
