My 2021 RX in Eco mode on the highway gets about 34 mpg. Trip was going speed limits of 65-70 mph. For anyone not happy with the RX mpg, they do have a hybrid. If you don’t want a hybrid and your main concern is gas mileage, maybe don’t buy an SUV
Charlie, Let's keep this mpg result on file if and when the next RX switches to a turbo 4. Those inclined to panic buying might want to stock up of RX V6s while they still can ;-) To me, the RX is the perfect type of luxury crossover for a Hybrid drivetrain and I expect that will be a 4 cylinder set up next year as well. Finally, let's give Lexus a tiny bit of credit for dropping the silly premium fuel requirement on engines which are identical to the ones installed in Toyotas.
@@superpedro4691 I still have it, but my wife drives it. I’ve always used mid grade. I’m in Florida so that’s mostly 91 octane She’s since sometimes uses regular but the 20k miles I put on it pretty much stayed the same about 23-24mpg highway when using premium and 22ish with 91
Just purchased a 2022 RX350. Dash states 17.7 mpg. That’s about 70/30 city/highway. UGH. Our 2013 was so much better. 500 miles on the odometer and we’ve filled up 3x already (plus the free tank at purchase) . Hoping this is a break in period.
I used to own a 2005 RX330 as well. I was easily getting 18-20 mpg around town and that's with me being an idiot with it and ripping it on back roads, constantly getting air on some parts, and a solid 25-26 mpg. How the hell were you not even managing 16
Please test this again using city driving for about 2 weeks please. Just acquired a 2022 RX F-Sport for last 3 mo this and we’re barely getting 16.1 mpg with about 80/20 City/Highway.

34mpg is pretty awesome. Is it the hybrid version you have? Thanks

Pretty good MPG on regular, if you ask me! Mind you, he had the air conditioner running too!
Thank you Charlie
I wanted to see highlander but i guess it would be similar to RX350 since they are very alike. Have a nice weekend!
Fyi watchers, I daily my 2021 RX350Fsport, and I end up averaging about 22mpg on the highway when driving an average of 78mph.
2016 F Sport same mpg at 80 mph with premium fuel only.
I know it is a year old but I just bought that car with 18k what type of gas were you using back then and if it is still the same Thanks..... P

Looking for the 22 f sport fwd next spring hopefully.
How can you tell if this is the Fsport appearance package or the fsport performance package?
Have a 2015 - Hardly cracks 20mpg on the highway.. really frustrating on long trips as the range is 350 miles max
i have a 2017, hitting close to 30mpg non-f-sport
I have 2022 rX350. 16 mpg in city. 20 on highway

I've heard that the first gen rxs can get above 30 mpg don't know if it's true but that's impressive for back then for a heavy suv
Is that AWD? All fsports AWD?
Hi can you review gas mileage on 2021 Nissan Pathfinder thanks, I watch all of your videos
Same mpg as my grand marquis, which is v8 4.6
I just traded in my 2004 rx330 for a 2016 rx 350 f sport. 26 mpg isnt great????? I would be lucky to hit 16 in the 2004!!!! 🤣

That’s honestly all you’re going to get. These cars are gas eaters.

Same. My 22 fsport gets 15.8mpg driving city. I just keep it in normal mode
I mean if mpg is your concern just don't buy an SUV or get the hybrid (if you can even find a non overpriced one)
I would be in normal or plus mode.
I'm guessing you use 89 octane
This vs 2021 Dodge Durango SRT Hellcat
Take camera off of your head.
It's ugly that model is.
Ok yoda

Our 2022 RX F Sport AWD even worse.. 16.1 mpg. 80/20 city/highway. Our 2018 RX non-F-Sport FWD gave us about 20. 3000 miles now.
@Mctrician2 - We’re also getting about 180 miles on full tank. And we’re not heavy footed driving at all, but mostly city driving.
I have the 16 F Sport and constantly get 22 mpg on the highway at 80 mph using premium fuel only. I do 80% highway 20% city driving.
Dam you guys are spritited drivers, I own a 2022 fsport and I get 23 in the city, and I always drive on eco,
