      Young KRILLZ I suppose it’s like the Mercedes AMG Line or BMW M sport. They are all essentially the same drivetrain as a standard model but with different cladding.

      I would probably take the RDX over this. Looks better, especially the front. Lexus wins on reliability though.

    They forgot to mention one cool feature of this car that it disappears from your driveway after midnight. It's called "Cinderella Mode". All you are left with is a Key Fob and a deductible to pay.
    It's a standard feature on all Lexus SUVs. 😂

  • @kyrosmike

    The fact it has a optical disc player still reminds me of who the car's market is for, my grandfather's 2006 LS430 still had a cassette player

    • @NONARCS
      @NONARCS 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Optical disc? You mean CDs? Yeah there are about a billion of them out there and the fidelity is three times your puny mp3. Mark Levinson sound system with mp3 or even worse satellite is a joke. A waste of space. CD/AAC or HD radio are the only sources for high end audio. Mp3 is for portability.

    • @redlion145
      @redlion145 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@NONARCS ...calls himself a DJ and doesn't mention FLAC in the same sentence as high end audio. GTFO and learn your trade yo. The OP didn't even mention all those file formats, he only mentioned the hardware his 2006 model had installed.

    Love the detailed review and you showing what you talk about. It is like I am there with you looking at the things and getting a feel for it. The intro flows a lot better this way. Good job! There were two small sound issues though, intro music was overpowering the voiceover at the second half of the intro and Yuris voice was washed out at the end of talking about the cupholders. But I only notice that really because the rest is so good.

    Perhaps not as impressive as some of its pricier competitors, but this one will actually still be on the road 10 years from now. I still don't get the purpose of performance SUVs, but if I was going to buy one, I'd definitely opt for this over everything else if I wasn't leasing.

    I feel like the touchpad would be way more intuitive if it was a 1:1 mapping to the screen. That is, touch the top left, cursor is immediately top left, touch bottom right, cursor is immediately bottom right, etc. So you always know where the cursor is, if you need you can hold and drag after tapping to move more precisely, and it keeps your hands away from the dashboard-tablet-mounted touchscreen. Maybe even some haptics whenever a button is selected. Please describe to me a single disadvantage of this system (other than it might not be, or might be, easier to muscle memory common actions compared to a scroll wheel).

    Yes, I'm only a 30'' waist and these seats are the same structural design as ES since 2013 - side bolsters start annoying my legs after driving it two hours every day and 8 hours on the weekend. Also, the upper back portion leans forward too much if you're around 6'1''+ leaving a void behind your upper back - probably won't notice but after 3 hours in on the weekend... got rid of the car two months later. Got in my friend's 2019 Camry (after the 4 hour trip) and drove with no back pain was due to better ergonomics - though they could use improved padding/cushion on the Camry.

    Engineering background and huge Lexus fan. The F sport makes it not your grandmothers Lexis SUV. Granted nobody is going to mistake your Lexus sport for an Italian or German sports car nobody is going to mistake this for a Porsche or a Maserati however the bass Lexus 350 is very average at best at least the performance and handling will make it fun to drive and worthwhile.
    If you want to get horsepower or speed with BMW or Porsche if you want to put 87 regular gas then go with the Lexus

      MaxSpeed what the hell are you taking about performance? It’s literally the slowest car in its class. Please don’t say stuff like that, you sound incredibly uneducated. The BASE MODEL 2020 Bmw X5 literally does 0-60 in over 2 seconds faster, which is embarrassing.

    • @mattX5
      @mattX5 4 ปีที่แล้ว +10

      Carson D ..and have you owned one? I’m assuming not. I’ve test driven and owned many Audi’s, Mercedes and Lexuses, and I always find the BMWs to have the nicest interiors and the best driving dynamics. I’ve also owned many bmws and have never had any major problems with any of them.

      @mattX5 4 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      Carson D I literally test drove an RX, an Audi Q7 and a Mercedes GLE 450 AMG back when I bought my X5. The interior quality in the X5 was better than any of those ones, with soft touch material on the very bottom of the door panel and soft material all over the center tunnel. The same cannot be said about the RX, GLE or Q7. And really, you owned a bmw but you can’t even name what model you had? Interesting. And plus, I didn’t get “lucky”. I’ve owned 3 bmws and have had no problems with any of them.
