Justin was a saint. Truckdrivers have to be so patient and helping out even in a small way is so helpful and makes the loading go faster and takes the stress out of the whole process. Your driveway makes its own crispy crunchy noise. A security measure in its own way!
he not a full time truck driver, like she said hes a farmer too, so he gets others loads out after his, full time truckers dont help nothing, your lucky if the get out of there truck

I'm assuming I am interpreting your comment wrong, but we "should" be thankful to God at all times, because without faith and glory to God we would really be in despair during today's trying times. I recently found a gentleman on XM radio, the Family Talk channel, named Alistair Begg with "Truth for Life" that seems to give a real-world perspective on how we should be living our lives. Definitely only a suggestion with no ties, but today he talked about pain and suffering , and why God would subject us to such great agonies. He posed the same questions I have asked as to why would such a loving, gracious God would allow us to experience such emotional and physical pain. During his talk I found myself asking questions that Mr. Begg would quickly provide answers/guidance on.

Hi Meredith 🙋🏻♂️ Great video 👍🏻 ! I built grain bins for many years , watching u unload ur bin I could c ur missing a unload sump about 4 foot in from ur door! The way it’s suppose to work is when u start to unload ur bin is u open ur center sump and keep it open until the grain quits running out . Then u open the sump that’s closest to the door and keep unloading until the grain stops again . Once that happens the grain will be away from the door so u can open it and it will pretty much have cleaned a path out to lay ur sweep in . It wouldn’t take much to fix and save u lots of work and u then can take ur sweep thru the bottom door not the top door. All u need is a sump and a piece of pipe that fits over ur existing control rod that runs ur center sump. U should be able to install all that without doing anything but cutting a hole in the floor where the sump goes and a hole in the auger tube to let the grain drop in ! And make your control rod hole a bit bigger to except the bigger pipe. And u just weld a piece of rod on the pipe for a handle to open the sump. Just trying to save your backs and give LB more time to give us his wisdom ! 🤔

You guys are a great team with good sense of humor. Every time I check in it seem that the farm is working better and better. You all work so hard and we are rooting for you. A lot of folks could be quite envious of such a wonderful family all working together.
Next year, after the first load, unload the rest of the bin into your own trucks so your ready for the driver. The 5 hours he’s gone you could have the bin cleaned out. Dump from your trucks back into auger to the semi, less waiting for him... please wear mask in the bin, good way to get lung infection !! Thx for the video!!

I like the sound of your tires on the stone/gravel driveways. It's a good idea to start and let run for awhile, your generator. Best to use nonethanol gas too.

I grew up on the farm in northern Saskatchewan, middle of Canada. It was a hoot . we raised cattle and grew grain .Mostly wheat,barley ,oats and some flax and rape seed(canola) . was a good time as a kid. Best time was Fall and winter . And always a lot of work in the summer.

I know what life is like on the farm as I started work on a farm since I was 11 years old. I am not telling the farmer how how to suck eggs, but I do care for you all when I watch your videos. I hope you sometimes take time out to Stop and think of all your safety as you know farm life is hard and fun. Just a minute at the start of the day to pray and think about your safety throughout the day. Laurance you make me feel very tired when I watch you working. Another idea, since you're all electric, keep a camping stove with small propane bottle and a couple of gallons on water as backup for coffee on "no power mornings".
That’s exactly what I do love ❤️ my camp stove and extra bottles of propane for that addiction ☕️ Coffee ☕️ 😊
The only sweepogger I knew was me with a broom. 😆 🤣 lol
I made a switch for our bins when we unload grain very similar to the one your husband made. Mine was made using an outdoor electric box with a "switch cover". It also has 2 outlet plugs on it so you can plug both the unloading & sweep augers into it @ the same time. It's nice to be able to hit one switch to be able to turn off both bin augers once the truck is full. If he can get it working he'll really like having it.

Living on The Gulf Coast Mobile Alabama we see lots of Hurricanes so when power is Down i have Little camp stove propane ☕️gotta have my cuppa Coffee ☕️ morning some times Afternoon/Evening But believe it or not seldom without power all our power is underground very little problems 🙏🙏

When I was a kid we didn't have sweep augers for our bins... it was a seed scoop and a broom...but. you need to keep the shop vac and generator handy for cleaning out the grain drill/planter boxes when finishing up with planting in the spring and fall

so today i was out driving a backroad when all of a sudden i turned a corner and i was meet by 9 cows in the road that had escaped their fence. so i rolled down my window and starting talking to these escapees and telling them they better get on home or they were going to be in trouble. and to my surprise they listened and started home. the farmer didnt even know they were out but saw them coming with this strange guy yelling at his cows to get home so he went and grabbed a bucket of corn and they all high tailed it in the fenceline. he thanked me and i continued on down the road thinking my excitement was over but then i saw one more cow about a half mile down the road and knew what i had to do. so i turned around and like the others i told her she better get a going and off she went. i drove behind her as she made her way back home and again i was meet by the farmer who opened up the gate and she made it back home safe and sound. i forgot to mention i just moved to texas not long ago to restart my life and i never felt more like a true cowboy after the farmer said that i did i good job wrangling his crazy cows back home and that he was gonna have a talkin with his farmhand who apparently left the gate open this morning. and this whole time i was talking to these wonderful creatures all i could think about was your family and how blessed you and what a wonderful job you all do on a daily bases. i think im going to go buy me a cowboy hat tomorrow and i might even get me a pair of cowboy boots. you know just in case i got to play cowboy again. thought you might like my story as much as i like watching your videos. @Action Jackson 618 Great story. Good job helping that farmer out. I have one just like it except it was goats. An old friend was coming the other way so we got the goats back in the pasture and had a reunion of old friends that hadn't seen each other for years. I guess it was just meant to be that way.

Go to Walmart and buy you a coffee pot in the camping section and you can always have coffee cuz you got a gas stoves. I've missing you and the adventures! My brothers and I use to climb bales and slide down or jump too. There was one time we went to play and some how a bull got in there. We left real quick! God continue to bless you guys! You bring back so many memories.

I need an IV bottle full of coffee hooked up to me. Before I retired, I drank it all the time while at work, never at home. Now I drink it all the time at home, 6+ cups a day.
That was great, after the shaky start, that new setup works mighty slick, maybe a few more adjustments, you all must feel pretty satisfied, great way to end, with cooking steaks

You should set up a campfire pit with the pots and pans coffee pot and grates hooks and everything to cook outside. Use cast iron pots and pans skillets lids. Would be great When the power goes out. Have a Chuck wagon cookout spot.
