    Maybe I missed it but how do you apply a low cut filter on vocals or is that already applied when selecting a vocal mic ToneMatch preset?

    • @MrJonsong
      @MrJonsong  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The tonematch setting will EQ the mic for you. If you want to further adjust you can experiment with the parametric EQ also. I did that on my guitar to remove some of the thump of my hand when strumming

    the panning for the voice is also to one side, and I see that you have another deley for the voice than for the guitar

    • @MrJonsong
      @MrJonsong  ปีที่แล้ว

      I pan everything hard right. You will notice around a 3db gain but only if you are running one stack. Delay on the guitar is set to fatten it up a little not to add the delay effect.

    Frustrated with my L1 Pro 16. I am going from pedal board to base unit, no mixer. Do you recommend the T4S? Solo acoustic, mic and acoustic guitar.

    I have had such terrible luck with these mixers and have sent 3 of them back. No one can figure our what is going on with the Channel 2 crackling/static and low end hum. There could be nothing plugged into the input and the Global Preferences will show Channel 2 receiving and sending a signal. The signal becomes exponentially worse when the Phantom Power button is pressed. I've sent 3 back to Sweetwater with the same issue... then waited a couple months and tried again. This one is doing the same thing. Have you ever heard of anyone experiencing this, or better yet, know how to fix it?

    • @MrJonsong
      @MrJonsong  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Seems strange that you are having the same issue with three different mixers. How are you setting the trim etc

    • @derekboik4322
      @derekboik4322 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@MrJonsong The strange thing is that no instrument is plugged into the input. I set all Trim and Volumes to 12 o' clock, no FX, and Channel 2 always has a different initial hum than all other 3 Channels. The Green Signal Input light illuminates/flickers with no instrument, but then loudly Crackles/Sizzles once I hit the phantom power button.
      If I'm in Global Preferences, I can see that there is some ghost signal on Channel 2 in both the Input / Output Path. Weird.

      You have likely done this but have you updated the firmware or gone through the factory reset?

      @@MrJonsong Yes, but found out from Bose it was a manufacturing issue in a very large batch that went to a certain distributor. I returned the 4th mixer to said distributor and ordered 1 directly from Bose. This one performed perfectly for my 3 hour gig last night:)

    Hi Jon, I wonder if you can help me?
    Please can you let me know how you connect your T4S to the Pro 32. Until now we have been using a T8 which we connect by XLR out to 1/4 inch jack into the Pro 32, we have 2 mics and ipad playing backing tracks through the T8 and all is fine.
    We have now just bought a T4S and connected it to the Pro 32 via the Tonematch cable. I had vocal into the T4S and also a guitar going into a loop station and then out from the loop station into the T4S. But the sound just wasn’t good, and was getting feedback quite easily. Would it be better to go left & right 1/4 inch jack out from the T4S into inputs 1 & 2 into the Pro 32? Any help would be great.

    • @MrJonsong
      @MrJonsong  ปีที่แล้ว

      I run the tone match cable out of the right side and pan all 4 channels hard right. Make sure you have the proper gain staging re the feedback and/or check if you have the compressor on the vocal channel as that might contribute. I run my guitar through a Boss VE8 with good results

    • @songsofsheeran2266
      @songsofsheeran2266 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks Jon, the feedback was mainly from the guitar channel, so maybe need a bit of compression on that too? With regards to the Pro 32 base unit, the volume knobs on that don’t have any affect on the sound as presumably the Tonematch takes over from that.

    • @MrJonsong
      @MrJonsong  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@songsofsheeran2266 If you are getting low end feedback try using the PEQ to notch it out - if you are using an acoustic guitar make sure you are using a sound hole cover. The channels on the base are independent from the T4S and can be controlled from the app via bluetooth in addition to the T4S if you need extra inputs
