I started as a barber round the same time as homeboy. It’s cause of our era of why barbering has gone thru the roof with workers clients and the pay! I remember doin 10 dolled Tuesdays at the shop in mid to late 2000s then out of nowhere the demand for barbers went thru the roof then I took a step back and thought maybe a barber college would be ideal where I live so we opened up a barber college I thought by jus not cutting hair my job would b just a little “easier” but I didn’t kno running a business especially barber college of how much more work it is lol made me a millionaire but at a great cost now I’m a slave to my job n money. I’m leaving the USA in less than a year life out here is tough

Damn 85 a week and only charging 40? Why over work yourself. Could easily up his price and get rid of maybe half of his clientele and still be making the same or more.

Alight there is a little secret… take the blade out and put a small piece of paper towel or neck strip on the two metal wires that hold the blade side to side. The friction of the blade wears down the plastic and the two little wires that holds the blade so I put tiny bit of paper and the friction is gone
