A book that recently came out that gave me strong Circe vibes is Kaikeyi by Vaishnavi Patel. It's a retelling of the Hindu epic the Ramayana from the perspective of one of the female characters, Kaikeyi, who is one of the wives of the father of the protagonist Ram and who ends up banishing him from the kingdom for 10 years. It was super well done and so interesting to read especially since I know very little about Hindu mythology!

Just because they're supposed to be these sexy wrathful characters and instead I keep imagining happy people walking around in animal costumes. That mental image is just very funny to me.

OHMYGOD THIS IS THE FIRST BAM FROM A BOOK IVE ACTUALLY READ THIS IS SO EXCITING. You bet your ass I’m gonna watch the video and like the story even more, Circe was treated so unfairly her whole life and even though the narrating drove me a bit crazy the ending was very satisfying and made me tear up
so as a greek person, it was adorable when you'd misspronounce something. don't worry haha. also the story about how the universe was created we actually learn it in elementary.. If you start reading the myths the philosophers said and the meanings, im sure you'll enjoy it a lot.

I read this book called 'This Poison Heart' and the main character is literally part of this Bloodline and she found out some crazy sh*t. I don't wanna spoil anything so just go get the book promise you, you wont regret it (10/10)
