I think Suchitra has ADHD and that is something that our society still hasn't fully understood which is not her fault. Mental health is so important and to see that everybody takes it for granted will only lead to more people like Suchitra be discriminated discarded and accused.
It’s more of generalized anxiety disorder and PTSD than ADHD. She may very well be aware of her emotional vulnerabilities and must be building herself up. I know because I’m intelligent like her.
Need to add that even for psychologists/psychiatrists it’s very hard to isolate disorders that relate to emotional dysregulation. So without going down that rabbit hole, people like her who find themselves “different” or “isolated” from the regular society and norms can be termed “neurodivergent”. Her brain could be either wired differently or evolved to be different due to past traumatic experiences. Very similar to my case.

It’s all too easy to malign others, Tamil people love to believe anything said by anyone and what’s worse, they keep changing sides and don’t use their wisdom to realize they don’t know enough about other people.
