How To Write A Move Out Notice

When it's finally time to move on and move out of your apartment, you may realize you don't know what to do! Do you just leave? Do you tell the landlord? HOW do you tell the landlord? That's where your move out notice (or 30-day notice as it's commonly called), comes in. The number of days may vary, but in order to move out of your rental, you have to have a written notice to vacate to deliver to your landlord. These intent to vacate letters are needed but what do you say? There IS a proper way to write the notice to your landlord and you'll want to get it right to have good standing and even get your security deposit refunded in full.
