Watched the live! You said chat was silent, but it was popping with people the whole time! I tried to say hi to you, must of been an issue on your end! :D
Drops tanks: “nice!” Guy on beach who just saw his wife and child crushed by tanks: “WHY ME GOD?!?!?” Also remember: It’s only against Geneva Convention if you get caught.
Never tried 3 Mig-29s. In the Hornet I've gone up against 2 F-14Bs guns only and it's usually win. I just chalked it up to crappy AI vs me being that good.
Nice job! 👍 May I ask you, how to operate the flaps in a real Eagle? I have never found a lever, neither on photos of the cockpit, nor in DCS.... same with the huge air-brake 🤔🙈 Thank you!! 😊
The entry for the MiG-29, from one of my dad's old warplane book published in 1982, as follows - Data (range, speed, armament, etc) - "no reliable data specifications available" Main entry - Reports of a new air-superiority fighter capable of replacing the MiG-21 have been current since the early 1970s, but new details of the MiG-29 were slow to emerge. U.S. intelligence sources report that a twin engined design similar in configuration to the Northrop F-18L has been under flight test since at least 1979. Following its detection at the Ramenskoye flight test center, the type has been dubbed RAM-L. Operational deployment is not expected until the mid-1980s. Attempts to ascribe design bureaux for this new generation of Soviet aircraft have proved confusing. Most sources state that RAM-L is a Mikoyan design, but some claim it to be from the Sukhoi bureau. Relatively little is known about the aircraft, despite the publication of one detailed "description" which even solemnly speculates on the number of combustion chambers in the cannular section of the powerplant. Maximum take-off weight is probably in the 25,000lbs(11,000kg) class, and the reported thrust to weight ratio of 1.2:1 suggests engines rated at roughly 12,000lbs (5,500kg) each in full afterburner. Maximum speed is thought to be at least Mach 2 - perhaps as high as Mach 2.3 - at altitude, and Mach 1.2 at low level. The radar may have a maximum search range of at least 20nm (37km), although some sources claim up to 60nm (111km). It will certainly offer "look-down" capability, over-coming a serious weakness of all current Soviet fighter radars. A new pattern of IR homing dogfight missiles known to be under development is probably destined for this aircraft, but the current AA-8 Aphid will probably be used on early production aircraft. An internally mounted cannon is likely, probably in 20mm calibre. Excerpt from "Modern Air Combat", by Bill Gunston and Mike Spick, 1982 The caption for the planes profile pic in the book is, and I quote, "Artists impression of the new MiG-29 (formerly RAM-L with next-generation radar-guided missiles"
Late edit - I know it's VERY long, but shows how little the west (publicly, at least) knew about a plane at the time of introduction, and could lead to speculation. Case in point - How the west saw the Foxbat.
Vertical Scan, you really should learn to love it in a 1 or 2 circle fight. It would have most likely saved you in 3 of the 4 fights, no chasing parachutes. Very entertaining thanks.
Hey Neo, Its awesome to listen to your thoughts as you fight, you can hear all of that training, mate if i were in a MIG 30M and you were in a fully loaded F15E i would turn at the sun and light both burners, awesome bud !!

Yo! Yeah it went blank for me for some reason! Next time I’ll be chilling in the chat with you 😎
Would love to see you and growling sidewinder one vs one and the same aircraft. Who do you think would win🤔
Great to hear some sounds of everything, nice one!
Great flying, as always.👍
Hey thanks!
GIVE IT UP FOR MAX AFTERBURNER IN THE THUNDERDOOOOME
Missed the live…some of us have to work😅..dude your dry sense of humor and enthusiasm is fantastic!
Ha thanks brother! Glad to have a ride or die on board!
I remember back in my days in 9AF HQ/Stan Eval, as a non F-15 guy, it was impossible to get a ride on a Mission Sortie. They took their crap serious.

I like these videos better because there not live I enjoy them more then the live streams.

Always a good outlook
LOL! You're funny. Why not incorporate a F-16/22 style canopy to the EX?

I know this is dogfighting, but would the f-15e be better for bvr with it's powerful radar?
You are flying AK one from Elmendorf AFB Alaska.
Hey can someone explain what the tanks at the beginning are for?
Is it easier to fly the actual plane rather than a game/program?
You ever thought about just using a VR headset? Seems like eye tracking is so awkward to use.
nice high yoyo! I like to use vertical scan mode when ripping around the circle.
Question… have you thought about joining DRAKEN INTERNATIONAL??
