Behind the scenes of the 25th Anniversary spectacular. Featuring: Ramin Karimloo, Sierra Boggess, Hadley Fraser, Andrew Lloyd Webber, and Cameron Mackintosh
5:05 Makeup artist is all laid back and nonchalantly says "There we are." Ramin gives him a blank stare for a millisecond and says "WE'RE IN THE MIDDLE OF A SHOW LETS GO!" 😂 I love that part
@@_phaedra_1817 realistic, yes, scary, no. POTO is meant to be horror (with a romantic subplot) and the 2004 movie looked to be a bad sunburn. Plus, this makeup actually holds up better to the original book(s, if you count susan kay's adaption)
@@_phaedra_1817 The movie Phantom actually wouldn't have much trouble walking around without a mask in society--it just looked like a burn on a small part of his face. Considering how often houses and other buildings caught on fire in that era, he definitely wouldn't have been alone in that department. Also, he had quite a bit of hair. His "deformity" wouldn't have caused him to be in a freak show because it isn't major enough. (A woman having a facial scar like that at that time would not have been able to walk around, but a man would just look more rugged.) I agree that the deformity needed to be much larger and more dramatic for the film.
The Phantom of the Oprah is by far my favorite musical, and this is by far my favorite rendition of the many many version that I have seen both movie and play. If you haven't already seen this I suggest you do, they have the whole thing here on youtube.
very cool,I cannot wait for the dvd, it was sold out, so gotta wait three weeks! I love this musical so much and it gets me every time! It makes me laugh, cry and melts my heart. There is something about Ramin that is so unique in this roll. His emotions are so real and profound that by the end, there are real tears spilling down his face.
Andrew Lloyd Webber needs to show the full performance of Phantom Of The Opera like he did the Cats in " The Show Must Go On " . PLEASE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I remember seeing him in Murder on the Orient Express then rewatching the 25th anniv and realizing "wait... This guy looks familiar" Needless to say I ended in a Sergio loop.
No wonder why the greatest talent is the Phantom of the opera and how the opera goes got its name and how it got the talent The Phantom Of The Opera is one of my family movies and I’m a big fan of The Phantom Of The Opera. I have the monkey with the symbols.
JOJ at 2:43 haha classic, and Gareth Snook "Oh my glasses" I love him and Barry in this. Also the awkward moment when the camera flashes to Michael Crawford and I briefly fan girl because I think it's Michael Ball for a split second.
Oh yes, she's the current Christine in the UK Tour that's currently in Manchester I believe :-) You can find multiple recordings of her singing all the songs here on youtube! She's quite amazing in them too.

Katie Tucker When Ramin said that I honestly exploded into a pile of dumb giddy happiness

The guy who designed the distorted face from the 2004 movie should watch this. This is what should the Phantom look like!!
What??? No! The movie was waaayyyy more realistic.

They tend to make the movies a bit Hollywood...can't have TOO much of a deformity..they have to make him the handsome side of ugly..lol.

OMG OMG OMG. This was just too much, freaking wonderful. Ramin and Sierra and Hadley are adorable!
Okay, so it's canon now that the Phantom wears suspenders and I'm very okay with this.
I love you Ramin!!! You're one of my favorites phantoms and your voice is so beautiful!
Andrew Lloyd Webber needs to show the full performance of Phantom Of The Opera like he did the Cats in " The Show Must Go On " . PLEASE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
No wonder I love this beautiful production and watch it all the time. This is incredible. 😍
When it says "Fin" I'm like "nooooo.... Keep going.... Please.... Pleaseeeeeeeeee! "
Sergio Polunin was that dancer!?! No wonder he appeared to float!!
I remember seeing him in Murder on the Orient Express then rewatching the 25th anniv and realizing "wait... This guy looks familiar"
Needless to say I ended in a Sergio loop.
You know, I once did a curtain call with my glasses on... I had played a blind character.

1:05 I did not know Gardar Thor Cortes was in this production! Also, he's freakin' adorable right here!
JOJ's face at 2:43!!! And Colm's laugh! These are the little things that make my life complete.
Mina Jahan the bald guy isn't Colm Wilkinson it's Anthony Warlow

They look like they're having a great time.
I love Hadley very much a fsntsstic voice
Haha at Wynne Evans doing the stretches! Met him at the stage door, such a LEGEND!
Can anyone link an interview with Hadley where he talks about Phantom? I’ve found it surprisingly hard to find him discussing this show.
I didn't know Serge was in this show! How awesome :D
5:06 wow!!
Oh yes!! I adore her in Les Miserables!! :)
Whoop!!! Wynne Evans! Love him in this!
Love all the phantoms joking around especially John Owen jones and antony warlow and ramin karimloo
JOJ is my favourite Phantom by far.

I SWEAR my body is shaking of anxiety since the first second of this video

Big fan phantom of opera cool
My Brother and Father's first names are Erik like the Phantom, and their middle names are Hadley like Hadley Fraser , who plays Roul
That's awesome...
masterclass
That glasses guy has a really nice voice! Somebody please tell me, what's his name?
Silvia Luna, the girl who loves spiders Gareth Snook! He plays Andre. Probably my favorite character after the Phantom, to be honest.
You mean Michael Crawford, he's the one that originated the role of phantom and won a Tony award for it.
Johanna Lepistö he used to be so intense doing phanton😎
7:20 COLM WILKINSON!!!!!!
OMG I almost didn't realize it!!! I thought he looked familiar but I couldn't put my finger on it!
My all time favourite Jean Valjean.
Ann Mitchell, yaaaaaaaaaass!!!!!! Divine!
Heart be still, I’m in love with him. Like Sean Connery, I think he just gets better.
No wonder why the greatest talent is the Phantom of the opera and how the opera goes got its name and how it got the talent The Phantom Of The Opera is one of my family movies and I’m a big fan of The Phantom Of The Opera. I have the monkey with the symbols.
omg.*-*

John and Anthony ♡♥
I really want to see the musical..
ommg Colm Wilkinson!!!
2:44 kinda sorta made my entire life.
What? Fin? By it was just about to start!!!!
I think that Anthony Warlow's voice suits Jekyll/Hyde more than phantom
Nah he’s great - if anything I find Ramin a tad unsuited to the role
RIP Gillian Lynne
7:31 Charles Hart!!!!!! (the lyricist)
Anthony Warlow sighting! *fans self wildly*
Sergei Polunin is in this?!??!!
Jesus fucking christ why is Ramin vogueing for the camera XD ❤❤❤❤❤ and omfg that pose
Katie Hall at 6:20 and 6:31 and (I think) Gina Beck at 6:24 on the left :) I think Sofia Escobar is the one in blue at 6:31 as well
Don't know these ladies but I guess they are christine 😦
Sofia and Katie were principal and alternate at the time and Gina Beck had been Christine from 2008-2010. They are pretty popular with a lot of people
Gina Beck is also in the trailer for the musical
#Team Phantom
OMG Its the Go Compare guy. 2.28.......
Sergei Polunin
