Great looking bike. The white is killer. Although the Specialized Abalone White (pearlescent finish) available on the Aethos and Epic framesets is 100x more incredible IMO :)

It took me all day but finally I found information on the torque amount (15nm) for the thru axles and if they have the removable handle like trek does. It absolutely did my head in. Specialized need to completely fix their website. Every single photo of their bikes are drive side only..... So I had to find pictures taken by real people. No information about what type of thru axles is listed on their website either. I had to find an assembly manual for a tarmac to find the torque value... Trek have theirs printed on the axle (10nm) and you can see it on their website.... All the pictures of the tarmacs are mediumish resolution🤪🤯😡😂.

yea i tall depends, but right now we do not because we dont have the inventory but if it is going to cause the consumer to walk then maybe we might... it all dpeends the situation but to answer your question it is not manditory to swap stems and saddle it is up to each store

@@matkrek If you compare the Tarmac SL7 with the Émonda SL, it actually has better front derailleur clearance. Even the M10 thread on the hanger is further away from the dropout too, meaning more derailleur hanger alignment gauges can align the hanger, not just small-headed models.
Funny that this particular model was shown in local specialized webpage but was recently removed. I guess they can't really fullfill/get stock in the hence they took it out By the way, there no way to undo the wire integration? Like make cable hanging out again like traditional bike? Also i riding Allez 49 does that mean i can fit into sl7 in size 49 other than more aggressive position. This size is also rarely come by in this part of the world too, seen more 52 more commonly.
My shop told me Spec releases a few bikes for sale on their site (dealers can't even see this inventory) - you had to be fast though, I ordered one and by the time I checked a few hours later all sizes sold out :)
If you're a Size 49 on the Allez, you're a Size 49 on the Tarmac SL7 too. All shift and brake lines now exit from the head tube only, but you're free to run whatever cockpit you like, as long as the stem is a 1 1/8-inch.

However it make sense to be running axs as mean lesser cable to deal with and i believe mechanical groupset will not work efficiently due to wire being bend here and there in the name of hiding cable into the stem. Yes i see comparing 49 of allez and 49 of tarmac does show more aggressive geometry for sure. D
@@hamtairo When you run mechanical on a Tarmac SL7, it doesn't go under the stem, it goes straight to the handlebars and shifting still feels good. The Tarmac SL7's aero integration isn't heavy, so swapping a stem on this bike is as easy as swapping a conventional stem on a conventional road bike. Also, servicing headset bearings is usually done during a full service, which is pretty much the only time the whole bike gets taken apart. I built an S-Works Tarmac SL7 with a mechanical groupset back in September, something none of my colleagues have done before. It's on my IG (@ngyongling53). If you prefer bikes with traditional internal routing (starts from the down tube instead of the head tube), there's the Allez Sprint. No clue on what the 2022 version is going to be like yet, if it evolves.

I think it's value is very much a snatch if you ask me, 12 speed groupset with wireless shifting, and carbon frame for less than 4800$. Little changes and might get to 7.5Kg or lower. definately worth it

Wheels are the most cost-effective upgrade on a bike. This groupset is indeed heavy. (roughly 2.8 - 2.9 kg) Had it been equipped with Shimano 105 R7020, it'd weigh less than 8 kg.

I ride a size 58. Wonder if this would be heavier than my 2021 Diverge Comp Carbon? Just so heavy for a size 49.
He weighed a 52cm version a few weeks back and it was 18lbs 3oz. So perhaps only a few oz for the 58.
58 version is 18 pouns and a half I jsut built and wighed today

It varies from shop to shop. Some allow trade-ins, while others treat them as add-ons, with no option to exchange or help sell the previous part.

None in Etap. Ultegra compares with Force. 105 matches Rival but it is not yet electronic.
