      @@hamtairo When you run mechanical on a Tarmac SL7, it doesn't go under the stem, it goes straight to the handlebars and shifting still feels good. The Tarmac SL7's aero integration isn't heavy, so swapping a stem on this bike is as easy as swapping a conventional stem on a conventional road bike. Also, servicing headset bearings is usually done during a full service, which is pretty much the only time the whole bike gets taken apart.
      I built an S-Works Tarmac SL7 with a mechanical groupset back in September, something none of my colleagues have done before. It's on my IG (@ngyongling53).

    Question 1. Is the frame of the percussion sl7 comp and the frame of the percussion express the same?
    Question 2 The frame of the percussion sl7 comp and the percussion express looks like rice cake, but is there a difference in price and weight due to the composition of the bicycle?
    Question 3. If I change the percussion sl7 comp to the percussion expression, or if I change the percussion expression to the percussion sl7 composition, can I get the same bike?
    When you answer, please ask questions no.1~ No.2~ I'd appreciate it.

    Very nice bike....think it’s a bit heavy tho. What u suggest to be the easiest and best cost effective way to shed some weight on it?

    • @sbccbc7471
      @sbccbc7471 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Wheels are the most cost-effective upgrade on a bike. This groupset is indeed heavy. (roughly 2.8 - 2.9 kg)
      Had it been equipped with Shimano 105 R7020, it'd weigh less than 8 kg.
