Update: the saves are kindof awkward but again still glad to have the world back.
For those that are asking “when will it work on the current Minecraft update?”
It PROBABLY will work when the original Minecraft eventually updates to the same update as you loaded it on the Preview

I can't thank you enough! I've played Minecraft since 2012 or 2013 and I thought I lost my oldest save (began 2016) although I can only access it through the Preview version as of right now, I at least still have the world. Thank you so much!
See I’m in the same situation where I can only play through Preview, my world won’t even save to the cloud lol. I wonder if you can create a world in preview and play it on regular Minecraft.

Omg it actually worked I thought I was going to have to start all over again for like the 5th time even after I made copy’s of my worlds after I factory reset my Xbox all my worlds were gray and I had to sync them but it wouldn’t let me so I tried this and it worked it was literally the first video I clicked on too I hate all the fucking trolls that just waist time with fake videos this avtually worked tho so thank you

Didn't work sadly, literally when it's about to open my old world. I get kicked out of the game every time and got brought back to home

I was able to open my worlds through Preview, but how do I get them back to the Base Minecraft ? Do you know if Mojang will fix this in the future?
Doesnt make any sense though, it fails to sync on bedrock, yet i can download preview (which has never had my worlds on it) sync the world, and it works fine. This sounds like microsoft is failing to fix a major issue. Should also add, im playing on Xbox and i was able to save progress, and also invite friends to the preview world
I'm boycotting Minecraft because what's the point of building your own world if it's all going to disappear again. I thought the game was out of alpha and finished years ago, but you have depressing bugs like this.
@@damionburciaga7503 yuuup im in the same boat, ive had this world for 10+ years and had over 100 days (24hr days) on that save. id had been better off spending my time staring at a wall

@@UltraEgoMc i actually got a series X and for whatever reason, i clicked into the world and now it plays fine. all my others are still corrupted but i got back the important one so thats something

unfortunate its not a permanent solution for keeping your old corrupted worlds
It finally let me on and then it just put me into a random survival world where as the world that I was trying to transfer was a custom creative city
I lost all my worlds after resetting my Xbox and this worked saved my 3 year old world but only loads on preview version still thanks

How many millibytes is your world? Like how big is your world?

OK, the only thing I can think of is to check your xbox make sure you xbox is in good shape. Another thing is if you don't have a xbox series X, that also might be a problem, if these ideas don't work unfortunately there's nothing I can really do at the moment.

@@requitedpower8902 that's weird, that's something you might want to file a report on it must be a bug in the game.
It doesn't sync to cloud when I exit the world and my world is smaller than yours can you help anybody I've been looking for a few days now

I was afk in a tower in a castle I made walked out of it when I went to play after doing stuff my castle was gone my house underground base everything was gone there’s giant holes in the ground that go out of the world everything i destroyed is back including chest with diamonds and killed villagers and houses i took down

I didn’t play Minecraft for 7 months and uninstalled it and installed it again and tried to play a 84 mb world but it wouldn’t let me, I tried it and it let me play the preview version but I didn’t get it back on normal Minecraft, and idk what to do
I have a near enough 10 year old world that has corrupted from Xbox one to series s. I tried the Minecraft preview thing and after hours of syncing data I go to play and it crashes. I have also tried moving the data from my old Xbox onto a hard drive. Now the Xbox thinks the data is on the hard drive, and the hard drive thinks the data is on the Xbox. I currently have no access to that world and I would be gutted to lose it. If anyone figured out a fix it would be much appreciated if you can help me out. Thank you
It’s also worth mentioning, now the data is ‘on the hard drive’ my Xbox won’t let me download Minecraft anymore, if anyone can help with that at least I can access my world on my old Xbox.
Yeah I'm really sorry about your world, I've also experienced problems about my world to, I'm currently trying to find a way to fix it,but if I do fix I will make a video
@@marblecover2131 I managed to get an old copy of the world to sync after hours of being spammed with that alert msg. N yeah thank you lad I’ll be sure to keep notifications on 👍
there wasnt any of these problems with the minecraft xbox one version

Ok so I'm actually testing an idea that hopefully will fix the world, I will make a video if it works.
@@marblecover2131you can still play Minecraft but it’s annoying because your old worlds will be gone until they fix it.
I’ve owned Minecraft for however long it’s been in out and it says I don’t own Minecraft preview I can’t download it on my Xbox, but I can download from the Xbox app , then it says I need to own it to play Minecraft preview
I'm so sorry to hear that unfortunately I don't know how to resolve that, but maybe delete and re install the game and see if it works.

For some reason, all my worlds are appearing besides the main world where I have most of my stuff in. Is there a way to get it so all my world appear instead a few ones.
