He was kind enough to agree to do a free concert in my town and he was amazing. He would assemble a bike on stage while preforming and then gave it to a kid in the audience!

I met him in 1994 when I was 21 and he was such a kind and humble man for being a singer. My favorite songs by this buff country crooner are For You I Will and You've Got to Stand For Something.
I met him right after his first song came out. I was about 8. It was my first concert. He was signing autographs. I completely list my ability to talk. He came around the table hugged me and I got a picture with him. He was soooo nice.

It may not register in the comments, but one of my favorite songs by Aaron Tippin will always be "That's as Close as I'll Get to Loving You." Kids these days will call it a 'stalker' song, but it's simply a song about unrequited love.

One of my favorite singers ever. Lots of great uptempo stuff with cool messages like I Wouldn't Have It Any Other Way and You've Got To Stand For Something. A great midtempo song that really shows off his voice is Blue Angel. He also has a fantastic ballad called That's As Close As I'll Get To Loving You. He does it all.

This is a good song. I like Aaron. You've Got To Stand For Something, I Got It Honest, and Working Man's Ph.D. are good songs too. But my favorite of his is There Ain't Nothin' Wrong With the Radio. That reminds me of my first car, I miss that Galaxie 500.
My dad was always a Ford man. When the Galaxies came out (in 63-64), he bought two 1963 Galaxie Fastbacks (2 door). One was a peacock blue for my brother's 18th birthday and one for "him" (our family car).
That song is a wakeup call for all of us men.

Check out his song, "You've Got to Stand for Something"... It is a life lesson song.. Another great song (an anthem for him) is "Ain't Nothing Wrong with the Radio"... Very Catchy.
That song was a result of a fight him and his wife had. She told him to kiss this, and he thought it would make a good song. He was right.
