Although the rooms need updating, they look very clean and comfortable. Also the design storeage areas and built in cupboard space is good. I like the tub in the bathroom and the pink looks a bit retro.
So I’d booked a last minute cruise, I’m off on Thursday this week on Azura from Malta, to Piraeus Greece, Kusadasi Turkey, Rhodes and Santorini week long? Booked today 😮
Enjoyed your Vlog Jamie. We spent last Xmas & New year on the Aurora for 16 nights to Portugal & the Canary Islands. We took our little Xmas tree to decorate our sea view cabin, we had a wonderful time.I always enjoy your reviews very professional. Keep up the good work. Thank you Jamie.
Looking forward to these vlogs. Cabin looks absolutely fine. Noticed the S&V square crisps in your snack cupboard - they're the best crisps around IMO!
Great Vlog as always Jamie. ❤️ A highlight on a cruise is finding the ironing room. Disappointed when there isn’t one. No, to them pesky suitcase creases. 😂😂👍
Excellent video I didn't know what the balcony cabins were like As we have been on Aurora 3 times but in Delux balcony which is bigger cabin with larger drawer units and balcony is open and not closed in with metal So will definitely still pay extra for a delux
We were on aurora for the first time last month, have to say she grew on us by the day. Best meal we had glass house fish n chips. Enjoy you crazy kids 🍷
Great video 😊 maybe you or other users can answer a Q for me. I'm thinking of surprising my wife with a 3 night cruise in July on Arcadia to Guernsey. Is it generally an older age group? (We are in our late 30s). Price is very reasonable, but is it because the ship is due a refit and maybe looking abit dated? Apologies for all the questions, I'm really in two minds about it 😢
Generally an older clientele on that ship but 3 nighter will be more a mixed crowd. If you watched my 5 nights onboard Arcadia you’ll notice a mix of ages and entertainment. The price will not reflect it needing a refit.
Hey, I really think New Orleans is worth visiting. I am there now on holiday and the scenary is lovely, however New York on the other hand it pretty overrated in my opinion.
What’s really worrying is how we have become fussy about old furnishings…and old ships…so send it all to land fill then! Really we were on Aurora last year….loved it…why does the age of the curtains and carpet matter ? Aa long as it’s clean…any ship older than five years gets criticised now…really ? Shouldn’t we just accept old carpet? Just saying? Food for thought?
@@TravelBlogJamie bless you yes you did…so refreshing not to hear endless gripes about dates bathrooms etc on Aurora ..she does suffer from so much negativity…I know I got heaps when I posted Photos on her last year ..we had a lovely mini suite..but people moaned about the carpet 🙄
It’s time to start exploring Aurora! ❤

👍👍👍
Fab presentation Jamie. Last on Aurora in 2010. Looks better than anticipated. Love the old spacious cabins!
🙏🙏🙏
We loved Aurora when we went to USA and Canada in 2019. Yes she is older than others but she has charm. Thank you for the vlog as always Jamie ❤
🙏🙏🙏

As usual, your hair dryer review blew me away.
Which setting?
@@TravelBlogJamie let's just say, I like it hot.
Will sail on Aurora in March 2026, up to Tromso, chasing the northern lights!
I hope you find them
Launderette etiquette is crucial, no seating discourages loiterers . Good vid 👍

I was on Aurora April/May and will be on again August/September. It's my favourite ship and the friendliest.

Oh that’s definitely a moment
Good sized bathroom! Not sure about the pink decor lol

I absolutely love New York
@@TravelBlogJamie Maybe we went to a rough part
@@stealthyourself656 wow
@@TravelBlogJamie What's your favourite place you have been to ever?
She looks fresher than Azura.
👍

Well that’s why I said it didn’t matter to me: furniture that is scuffed should be replaced though
