I would just like to say a huge thank you for your cruise reviews generally, which I look forward to every time. Personally, I consider your channel to be the most informative, honest, fun and engaging content, within the very competitive genre of the cruising world here on this channel. Thank you Jamie 😘
Hi Jamie, thanks for your review. We've just disembarked Aurora and stayed on the same floor in A283 but had an awful experience. We were next to the staff entrance the other side of the lifts to your cabin. The floor in the staff area was uneven with floorbars and the flooring was lifting in places hence trolleys were rattling and banging continually along there. not to mention the noise from the trolleys rumbling along the floor of the restaurant preparation areas above. We only had a reprive from the noise from 01.30 am to 04.30 am each day. Although we complained every day for a 4 week cruise we were only offered earplugs and £100 onboard credit, no change of cabin. I would suggest that any of your viewers avoid this cabin although it was almost as spacious as A297 the noise certainly wasn't worth it.
Hi Jamie what a nice spacious cabin I'm going in an inside cabin on Virtuosa next month the first time for me usually like a ocean view or balcony fantastic video ❤
I would definitely consider that cabin, especially with such easy access to the outside. What would be your advice for someone looking to book a cruise for the first time? Thank you for all your great work. I've become quite a fan and am so glad that you are able to do it full time.
Tried to get this room for 66 night January Grand Tour didn’t manage to get it but got the cabin next door A304. Which is a decent size too but not as big as A297 Did you check if there was an extra 2nd plug socket high up where the Tv plugged in ?
Hi Jamie, I’ve been binge watching your videos and have really enjoyed your presentation style and your personality which make for such an enjoyable watch. Could you please offer some advice for 1st time cruisers, my wife would love the the lifestyle of drinking and eating all day but I’ve made a change in my lifestyle for health reasons so I cannot enjoy the offerings of cruise life. Is there a cruise line that specialises in a healthy life style option along side someone who isn’t?
I think you would need to define what sort of food you mean as there are nearly always ‘healthy’ or ‘light options’ on the menus. If you have seen most of my vlogs I always films menus so if you’re saying none of them are suitable, it sounds like you’d need to discuss your dietary requirements with the restaurant manager in advance so they can cater for you. Most cruise lines will do this.
@@TravelBlogJamie I don’t eat high in saturated fat foods basically I have to take care of my Liver. So plenty of Fish, salads Mediterranean diet basically. Coffee is my go to sin so a good coffee is essential.
Love the space and the cherry 🍒 on the top is the location. The only negative for me on a personal level as I am visually impaired is the size of the TV. But who goes on a cruise to watch the box?
@TravelBlogJamie hi, you mentioned all the pools were freezing, back in 06, they weren't that bad. But just before covid, Venturas pools were also freezing. Were pools ever heated and have P&O turned it off to reduce costs?

It’s not my fav but I’m glad you enjoy Aurora!
Massive cabin. Love it. Thanks for vlogging it ❤

It’s great isn’t it

No, I could barely reach that far
@@TravelBlogJamie haha well I’ve no chance then being vertical challenged at a tad under 5ft 🤣
Is it me not noticing but I didn't see life jackets in your wardrobe 😮. Brilliant size cabin Jamie, hope you were very comfortable in there x
Oh they were there lol 😂
I know you said there was none from the stairs and lifts but was there any noise from the bar/restaurant above you?
Nope
Great cabin and location, I would definitely book this one ❤
❤️❤️❤️

@@ArthurDaley1 well all menus have fish and salads - have you looked at all the menus on the vlogs I’ve filmed?
@@TravelBlogJamie Yes but I’m usually too busy laughing and enjoying the content than seriously observing.
@@ArthurDaley1 I’m so you’ll need to look at the menus lol
Friend did a world cruise in one of those …brilliant ..
Ideal ❤️
Morning Jamie x

Welllll I know some folk who love a night in with room service and a film (especially on a longer cruise) 😉
@TravelBlogJamie Yes good point. It wouldn't work for me. Seems out of proportion for the size of the room.
@@cerimcculloch4021 I agree
Decent size cabin - did you book Select or got lucky with Saver fare ?
Saver
Hi Jamie just 2 let you know we lost our beautiful cat Missy today. Our hearts are broken
Oh I’m so sorry - think of you - heartbreaking 💔
Great size cabin, shame they didn't squeeze a larger sofa in the corner there.
I mean there’s room
Our steward was Rocky on Aurora back in 06. Would definitely put up with the old design features to avoid other people's kids!
👍
