    Missing mine. We had 57.000 joyful kilometres. It made me feel like superman. Literally, when I got rear ended this summer. Flying head first, into the ditch. Bike got totalled. I, the superman, stood up on my feet. Just got myself an R nineT now. But that little G310R got a special place in my heart. ❤️

    Undoubtedly, the best reviewer on the internet! Exceptional mix of originality and expression! This is a surprising BMW, and I must say, I find it impressive. What is amazing is that BMW makes some of the best bikes ever, at the high end or the lower end of "power". The color scheme shown here is quite eye catching. Thanks for another informative review with some wonderful riding highlights! RideWithPeace.

    Hi Scott. Thank you for your great reviews. Today is a beautiful day here in Greece. I ride the G310R for the last 4years.Great commuter and a really fun bike. I enjoy riding it at the weekends on the twisties although i am 48 years old and not an experienced rider. It' s time for me to go to the next level. I tried the Tiger 660, great bike but didn' t put a smile on my face. I realized that naked bikes suits me better. I am between Trident and the BMW F900R. I understand that both bikes are great and a great update for me, but which one you think is a better bike in terms of comfort and at the same time put a smile on your face. Money is not an issue...

    Scott, I just loved your review. I'm a vertically challenged retiree that just rides for pleasure in the country lanes of Hampshire (UK). I currently ride a Royal Enfield 350 Meteor, but my local dealer has ceased trading and I've been researching what 'bikes are available that could replace with my Meteor . I've not been finding anything (with fairly local dealer availability) that meets my requirements and contains some of the enjoyable elements I've discovered in the Meteor (having been riding 'twins' in recent years I was surprised to enjoy riding a 'thumper', albeit one with only just over 20 bhp !. I 'tripped over' your G 310 R review by accident, and, from your enthusiasm over the riding pleasure I would certainly need to try for a test ride on the G310 R. So thank-you for possibly solving the quandry I've been facing. : - } all the best from me in the UK.

    I get my bike next week,I decided to go with the 2024 KTM Duke 390 though,yes it's much more an being a newer model,but it'll do everything Im going to need in a bike,plus the ride modes,love the color tft display cluster,the adjustable suspension all around an two it's just sexy in that Atlantic blue,yes I like the orange too but too much for me, great reviews for this bike of its size an class for the price,my eyes just do better in the day with a color display,my little I have that's done at the moment has color but day riding its hard to read it kinda like a Honda Grom cluster if that makes sense,so yeah I believe I'll be happier with the Duke,two it'll be easier when I go make my license an be able to do some highway riding to places for short distances,bit I do plan on getting a after market better cushion seat for longer rides an a crash cage an some minor mods like windshield an hand guards an sliders,better air filter an a better after market radiator cover to better protect it from small pebbles an debris,other than that I love the bright LEDs headlights the duke has for night riding,so my saw what I was saving up for an now wants one,not that I'm knocking the BMW but I would recommend it to a new rider to start out with until they get good an wany something like a duke when they are ready to handle a little bit more power an speed,plus both bikes offer slipper clutch,which is nice to help the rider an these biked are good to make you a better rider.

    I’m still in the break in period on my 2023. My only complaint is the gearbox. Very notchy shifting. I’m looking forward to really wringing the engine out after I hit 600+ miles. I love the looks and the weight.

    • @NothingToProve
      @NothingToProve  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Most BMW's get better/smoother/quieter with age. The one in this video was way past the break-in so is was smooth. Also my 1300GS is "clunckly" right now (just brought it home) but the demo bike that I filmed was smooth, so I'll wait till I get past the "break-in" then if it's still "not smooth" then I'll make a video and complain about it!
      take care,

    What's your opinion about the Honda CB300r (31hp) and the Zontes GK350 (40hp)?
    They are both in the same price categorie as the BMW G310R.
    Would be nice to some future reviews and comparison.
    Although the Honda isnt really a new bike per se, but there are hardly any reviews out there.
    And the Zontes GK350 was just released in Europe.

    • @alainrocheve1501
      @alainrocheve1501 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hello forsaken, we are on the same page here, because I try to choose my future bike and I'm focusing on Zontes 350GK, MT-03 and this lil' BMW. My concern is for this one the ride-by-wire system (maybe the fear of a malfonction of the electronics here ... I don't know : I prefer a real wire ... I don't know !), the Zontes is great but the keyless stuff is not secure (if the battery fail ...), and the MT-03 is great but the look is not so awesome, and the passenger's seat is not so good ... What a hard choice for me, it's a brainstorming stuff here on my lil' head ! Good ride anyways !

    I have had two, and really miss my last one, I have a Harley 2017 Iron 883 great bike but to be honest I prefer the 310 for every day ease of use. Would you prefer a big bike or 3 small 300 cc bike and share with your girlfriend? I had a KLR 650 the BMW 310 and a Honda CBR 300r . In 2024 the BMW 310 is actually now cheaper by a good margin the rest have increased in price the KTM has just had a big upgrade to the Duke and it significantly more expensive the Ninja 400 is soon to be a 500 so not sure on price but it’s almost certainly leaving this price point and group.

    I bought the 2021 G310R (released in 2020) in 2021 (to not confuse with your 2022 G310R released in 2021, haha).
    It's virtually the same bike except for some colour schemes that changed slightly. I got the black with the white stripe, now changed to all black.
    As a small girl, this bike has been perfect for a first time rider who doesn't feel to strong to pick or turn around in slow turns. The past weekend I rode from Luxembourg to Paris on the highway with it and it I was surprised by how well it kept at 120/130km per hour most of the time. I installed a windshield to make the ride most comfortable and it was worth it.
    This bike is perfect for the type of rider I am. I see the shortcomings but since I ride alone, and mostly through backroads, it suits me 100%.
