Great video see I mentioned it last time fish just don't go away.. Sea monsters have arrived and what happened your line got cut off and later sharks where seen. Love the off shore and that was one calm day the water was calm as a lake great video you never know whats gonna strike you just put the lines out there
Watching from Scotland. You, Bama, Bum and the bearded one. Don't know if you guys know how lucky you are. I'd give a body part to have the fishing you guys have on your doorstep. Love it!! Tight lines brother 🐟🐟🐟
A lot of hard work out there.Rich, I love the diversity you offer. The most important tool I have is my Steiner binoculars 7x50. I have had them for thirty years. Critical for finding fish, birds, grass mats, tailing and busting fish. Also a good safety item. Looking forward to more keys fishing.
91 pound Wahoo is legend !! in the US. 20 Years of fishing 300 days a year and we caught alot of nice Wahoo. I have never seen a 91 nor ever heard of one caught in the Keys that big. That's your Unicorn. Montauk has the big fish for sure
Cool video. I love some offshore fishing. I would have dropped some live baits on that grass patch, a lot of times Mahi will be below the patches. Nice yellow tail that’s gonna be super tasty.🍻🤙
Looks like a lesser amberjack. Nice fish. Don't lose that yellowtail. 😅 🎣🐟 I'm in Deerfield and also from NY and fished Montauk a lot. Lmk if you want to come out on the boat. I'll show you what I've learned.
The 2 smaller "jacks" were pretty decent lesser amber jacks, and the bigger one you caught with the shark follow would be a small greater amber jack ;)
Hey Rich, you might like using a "mora knife" for cutting up the bait. Shorter blade but fat handle, easier to use if you're cutting up bait like that I think. Very cheap too, just a suggestion!
4:24 , I don’t know if you have one already but, you should just get one big lure bag, or alternatively just have a tub with lures in it, to save space on your boat
Fished a lot on my cousin's boat out of Jupiter. Whole sardines (with tails cut off to prevent them from spinning and twisting your line as you drop them with an egg sinker above a swivel and a 4/0 circle hook) do a number on the mutton snapper (if you can keep away the blue runners and the bonito) and grouper.
You ought to take your skiff down to the Keys and fish the channels and the bridges to see if you can come up with a 100+ lb tarpon! (Drift a live bait under a float) The big spawners’ are in now and it’s the kind of epic content that belongs on Fishaholic.
Greetings from Singapore 🇸🇬 buddy ❤️ Glad to see you offshore fishing 🎣 loving it... May I suggest that your boat need an shelter 😅 It's really sunny day 😎 day@
The best colors for Vertical Jigging I have found to be Green Chartreuse or any Fluorescent Yellow/Green. Pink and white, dark purple, black and blue together. I love vertical jigging.
Those Jacks were lesser amber, first 2, the others were banded rudder fish! 14 to 22", 5per day, and good eating, yellow tail 12" &up,very good eating!!
Awesome vid ! Thanks, I’m living in Osaka, and some Japanese friends introduced me to Japanese style Vertical Jigging. Both speed jigging and slow jigging are very productive! I bet if you got into it, you would be hooked, and your audience would be too ! I’m sure it would add a new exiting element to your great videos !
Yes. I went to florida last year and got on an offshore charter. I vertical jigged a wahoo out of nowhere using a 200g fast jig. And line was creaming. That was the most thrilling moment of all time fishing
Minnkota or some kind of an electrical motor for keeping you in one place locked without using anchor is a must have for VJ, right? And a sonder or some kind of ploitter?
@@lukaj2224 Good point. I think If someone is heading out to do vertical jigging exclusively, those things are needed. However, in a situation Rich was in on this vid, where he already found fish and the current is not very strong, I think he could have utilized the newer v.jigging techniques and lures, and it would have likely been even more productive. He was already doing well with that small jig.
Its always good to try some new-to-you techniques and spot to expand your experience. Youre a smart fisherman, will definitely figure out the patterns for success offshore quickly im certain tight lines sir 💪🏻
You ever go up to Sebastian? I lived up there for about 10 yrs . Another AJ. Bleed’m right away and soak fillets in milk and they’re good cooked right away 👍
Great video! I've been following for some time now - as a fellow fishaholic, - Florida seems to be the move for Fisher folk. I also enjoyed your Montauk content.
It would be interesting to put a GoFish cam on the spreader bar to see if it really does attract fish and get some strike footage on the other trolling rods.
I do like all the ariel footage that you get also. Early on as you were leading out there were two fish or something that were swimming away from the boat from right to left. You can clearly see them. Wonder what they were. If you ever need someone to do the ariel footage for you on a fun fishing trip ah.... let a brother know. Would for sure make the 9 hour drive down. :-)
Just subscribed. Looked at a couple of your videos previously. You killed the striped bass in one video. Never fished the east coast. Have lived and fished on the west coast of Florida since 1960. Take care and stay safe
Take one of those fish and catch a shark on light tackle, that's be interesting. And by the way I'd put one of those live baits out on a stinger rig while you're jigging and double your lines in the water.
Yeah I was. I saw the bottom come up and there were some reef marks on my gps but I didn’t stop and spot lock until I read the current and bottom and guessed where I should put the boat.
We need more offshore vids. I love em. Keep up the good work
Awesome! Sounds good Christian I’ll try and make it happen once I get back from my fishing trip up north.
What’s kind of boat do you have? Thanks for the videos!! ✌🏼!!

What I really like about your Channel is that you don't use click bait titles. You say what you're doing and then do it. Much appreciated!
He damn sure uses the clickers on the reels though!! LOL
Great vid man! Inshore is great, but nothing beats hitting the blue water for pelagics. Nice to see you spend time in both!
Nice
Thanks Dean, glad you enjoyed!! I’m going to try to keep doing more vids like this!
Watching from Scotland. You, Bama, Bum and the bearded one. Don't know if you guys know how lucky you are. I'd give a body part to have the fishing you guys have on your doorstep. Love it!! Tight lines brother 🐟🐟🐟
Yeah uk is rubbish in comparison, but you're lucky you don't live where i do, in Portsmouth.

Haha yeah it was a looong day but it was worth it. Glad you enjoyed! And thanks for the tip. I’ll look into the binos. Tight Lines 🤙🏻
I appreciate the way you show when things don’t go the way you planned!
Glad to hear, I like to keep it reel haha *real.
Excellent to see some offshore action. Grateful for a 31 minute video as well. Thanks for taking us along!

That “different Jack species” was a banded rudder. Good eating and I believe unregulated
Finally the kayak got put away and the rig came out, it was nice to see some different action there, good work my man.
Haha yeah Warren it was about time. I’ve got to do it more. Thanks so much for tuning in! Tight Lines till next time 🤙🏻
Great video glad you posted keep them coming thanks
Nice little amberjack always a fun fight no matter what size
What a gorgeous morning and day! Love that blue water fishing. Nice job finding what would work.
Great video !! Definitely cool to switch it up when weather allows
Thanks!! Yeah I’m going to get out offshore more and more coming up. Especially will all the great feedback
Cool video. I love some offshore fishing. I would have dropped some live baits on that grass patch, a lot of times Mahi will be below the patches. Nice yellow tail that’s gonna be super tasty.🍻🤙
I love the offshore videos
I like your fishing videos for simple fact that you know your game, thanks Kirk from Pacific Northwest.
Thanks Kirk! Glad you enjoy and thanks so much for tuning in! Tight Lines!
Loved the offshore fishing video Rich do some more.
Glad to hear Tom! I will for sure!!
Now you know why they're called reef donkeys. Great work man.
Haha yeah for sure! Thanks so much! Tight Lines!!
Looks like a lesser amberjack. Nice fish. Don't lose that yellowtail. 😅 🎣🐟

The 2 smaller "jacks" were pretty decent lesser amber jacks, and the bigger one you caught with the shark follow would be a small greater amber jack ;)
You caught yourself a beautiful snapper there! I really like offshore fishing but I don't get to do it much. I really enjoyed this video.
Ahhh and man that snapper was sooo good. I definitely have to catch more. Glad you enjoyed the video! Tight Lines!!
This video was awesome! In your top 3 for sure.
Awesome Jozsef! Really glad you enjoyed!

I love the offshore videos. Hopefully more to come!
Saw offshore and knew this would be a great vid!
You’ll have to catch a few of those fish robbers some time. Great vid!
You'll also love a dropper loop rig for bottom fishing.
Yeah I did that in the end a double dropper loop and I caught a bunch of little grunts.
First fish was an almaco, second was banded rudderfish
Both are excellent eating I might add.
Love this content I think that fish was an Almaco jack when you were wondering if it was an amber or yellow jack
Killing it with the vids, from kayaks to boat
Hooking into a 30lb+ Amberjack is like trying to pull a submarine to the surface. Excellent video! Great work as Always!
Ahhh that must be something. Thanks for tuning in Brob glad you liked it! Tight Lines!!
Nice day out, looks like you had fun at the end of the day. Enjoyed watching thanks
Thanks William for tuning in! It was a really fun day! I’m glad you enjoyed! Tight Lines!!
Awesome video. Would love to see more of the trolling for Mahi.
Thanks! I’ll definitely be back out to try and try and try until I make it happen. I also want to get some blackfin tuna.
About time you took that awesome boat out.....nice job

Been waiting for you to do offshore fishing in Florida.
Greetings from Singapore 🇸🇬 buddy ❤️

Nice , you found a nice spot , it’s producing for you :) I miss Florida , I’ll back in about a year . :)
Knocker rigs were my go to on the reefs
Love this video! More please
The best colors for Vertical Jigging I have found to be Green Chartreuse or any Fluorescent Yellow/Green. Pink and white, dark purple, black and blue together. I love vertical jigging.
Really..? Thanks for tip! I just bought some more jigs and I got a few with those color patterns. It was sooo fun! Tight Lines until next time!!
Those Jacks were lesser amber, first 2, the others were banded rudder fish! 14 to 22", 5per day, and good eating, yellow tail 12" &up,very good eating!!
Love your videos! They’re a highlight of my week! Beautiful day fishing!
Thanks Sean, really glad to hear!! Tight Lines!! 🎣
Great video my guy. Please always have a satellite radio on hand. The ocean can be unpredictable
Love this video! I love watching off shore jigging!
Thanks Lucas!! Glad you enjoyed. I’ll get back out there soon!

Thanks man! I’ll definitely get into it a lot more. The more I get offshore. The other day I actually dropped a bunch of money on some more jigs haha.

Amazing content as usual👍👍. It’s cool how you are switching it up and going offshore. Keep it up man!

Great video you should fish In NC more that’s we’re in from and it’s cool to watch you fish there

Nice video man, the fish you caught is an almaco jack. Nice fish man love ur vids!!
Good vid definitely do another 👍
Its always good to try some new-to-you techniques and spot to expand your experience. Youre a smart fisherman, will definitely figure out the patterns for success offshore quickly im certain tight lines sir 💪🏻
Yeah exactly! I love to put myself outside my comfort zones. Thanks so for much for the kind words and for tuning in. Tight Lines!!
Love the yak fishin but i def wanna see some off shore stuff mixed in every now and then!
Awesome Steve! Glad you enjoyed!! I’ll try and do it more often
Nice flag yellow tail snapper. Very good tasting fish
Love the offshore vids man. Keep it up.
Thanks Andy! Tight Lines!
That fish you were debating was indeed a amberjack, you'll always catch em on jigs, hard to not hook into em when targeting other fish.
Awesome, thanks dean! They are a blast on the light tackle I was using
Great vid. More offshore!
love the offshore videos
keep it up
Thanks Keil! I’ll definitely get out there more!!
@@FishAholicTV thanks bro!
You ever go up to Sebastian? I lived up there for about 10 yrs . Another AJ. Bleed’m right away and soak fillets in milk and they’re good cooked right away 👍
Seriously, more off shore ! Different content to mix in there my man
Sounds good I’ll keep it going and I’ll try to get offshore more and more!
The worst day fishing is still better than the best day working
Very cool Rich very cool.
Almaco jacks 👌
Always love the videos
Aaaahhhh HA!!!! I knew you were in West Palm !!!! Lol :)
Great video! I've been following for some time now - as a fellow fishaholic, - Florida seems to be the move for Fisher folk. I also enjoyed your Montauk content.
Fisher folk who aren't obsessed with ice fishing😉lol
@@shainedupuis2649 so true...
Thanks Linda! Yeah Florida is a paradise for FishAholic’s. Montauk does hold a place in my heart though. There is nothing like catch fish there
Love the video man.
Looks like a lesser amberjack. Great vids!
It would be interesting to put a GoFish cam on the spreader bar to see if it really does attract fish and get some strike footage on the other trolling rods.
Almaco Jack on that first one. Good eating too
Stud yellowtail. Keep in mind the regulations for those are measure by fork length.
Nice day from here!
Maybe you should invest in a Bimini Top to get out of the sun a little bit or get a T-Top? Keep up the great videos brother!
That fish u thought was a small amberjack is actually an almaco jack, very tasty and no size Regs
I do like all the ariel footage that you get also. Early on as you were leading out there were two fish or something that were swimming away from the boat from right to left. Those lessor amberjack, especially at that size are a really good eating fish
Use the thicker rods for the cut bait just in case a big fish eats the one you have on
That cubed bonita looks tasty.
Just subscribed. Looked at a couple of your videos previously. You killed the striped bass in one video. Never fished the east coast. Have lived and fished on the west coast of Florida since 1960. Take care and stay safe
I like these videos!
Great vid bro
Go to the Bahamas :) on a flat day you could make it in that :) 56 miles out boynton inlet to west end 👍
You gotta look into getting a bimini top if you dont have one and also that was an almaco jack if you didnt already look it up
Прекрасные фильмы у Вас! Спасибо за настроение🙂🙂🙂
I think you threw back an Almaco Jack. Nice fish.
Take one of those fish and catch a shark on light tackle, that's be interesting. And by the way I'd put one of those live baits out on a stinger rig while you're jigging and double your lines in the water.
Nice fishing 🎣
I wonder if planners would of helped? Get the lures down a little deeper? Or maybe try a deep diving lure like a nomad or x rap magnum?
Not looking for spot burn, but where in FL were you fishing? Eventually moving there and planning it all around fishing...don't tell my wife. haha
off of Jupiter FL
Cool video Rich ! I assume you stopped by a specific structure when you started fishing bottom ?
Yeah I was. I saw the bottom come up and there were some reef marks on my gps but I didn’t stop and spot lock until I read the current and bottom and guessed where I should put the boat.
Like your videos. Thanks
