@Luckygsm P also depends what you're listening to today. tons of great music is released, as someone like Björk would attest to. The last thing I know Stina did was writing songs and singing back up to Freddie Wadling's last album (the artist Slowgold has also a connection to him). As for musicians a little bit like her today, I think of Grouper, Maxine Funke, Satomimagae, Joanne Robertson, Clarissa Connelly, Ichiko Aoba, HTRK/Jonnine… off the top of my head, and according to my ears, of course
We miss Stina for sure. I'd trawling the megahertz for suitable material in her absence. There's a few artists I really like such as Anja Garbarek, Silje Nes and Hanne Hukkelberg. Really good singer/songwriters and you may spot a trace of Stina's influence in their styles.
Still the most wonderful, intimate, personal music I've ever been allowed to hear. I wish she could still be here with us, and guide us in our chaotic emotions. Our tiny shepherd ❤️
Wow! This is definitely rare!!! Stina is so reclusive and private. You rarely can find her anywhere in the Media and she don't care for all the fame, I think. . . .
Wow, great find and upload, this transfer is stupendous for a rip from VHS. As much as I miss her I hope she's living her best life somewhere, still singing for herself...
Fireworks is one of the more underappreciated songs on that album. Its chock full of so many little details, one of the reasons I love her music..a work of art.
It has been wonderful to find this video as I have known very little about Stina as a person. However, it is at times very emotionally painful as this album was a soundtrack to a very intense affair I once had. All of that is gone but of course the memories come crashing in when I hear the music. She is a great creator of songs and moods. I can never forget her music.
here I am just crying, reading comments, looking at her gaze and how she moves, how she talks....I wish her all the best where ever she is and whatever she does... Lover her Art.
03:05 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! "... not sing at all..." and what would happen to the world Stina? What would happen to the "Dawn Chorus" (John Spillane, Ireland's greatest SingerSongwriter), the Wrens, the Linnets... ?????
That's one hell of an upload. I never saw this before and its like a breath of fresh air in 2023 😊
Anything new from Stina would save the world. Again.

You are not alone in wishing that 🐑
"still here with us"? She was when you wrote that, and she is still alive. But maybe you mean in the "making music" sense?
@@JohnPreston888 Indeed. I wonder what more she could have given us, had she kept going ♥️

Astounding , beautiful , timeless ! What a wonderful discovery the world of Stina
Still in love with that second record of hers. In the same league with Nick Drake and Vashti Bunyan.

got my hands on this rare gem a long time ago...the VHS is somewhere - how nice that i don't have to find it and hook up my ancient VCR

a song that is both fragile and yet so powerful. love it.

I See You Again must be one of the most heartbreaking songs about heartbreak. The kind that never heals. Or so I feel whenever I hear it.
