55 PSI?
Thats pretty low, of course they drag. Brompton stopped fitting Raleigh years ago and started using their own tyres and Schwalbe tyres which both can be used which a much higher pressure.
My Brompton tyres (Schwalbe Kojak) run on 100 PSI (or to be precise 7 BAR as I live in the Netherlands) and with that the Brompton is a pretty fast bike.

I like my Brompton bicycle but the brakes should be better. I would like to have a disk brake at least at the front wheel.

BBC is major exporter of multimedia thus if they can be in the remotest bit patriotic perhaps it would lead to an increase in exports.
