The FSLTL AI Traffic Injector addon application for MSFS is by far the best one I have seen thus far! It is simple to install and use and configure! It is loaded with realistic features and integrates with both real world traffic and VATSIM out of the box! In game ATC and ground crew also work perfectly with each of the AI traffic aircraft! This is amazing!!

I discovered this by accident yesterday whilst updating my A320. What a fantastic effort and it is great that the team has had the great sense to use the FBW installer which is smooth as silk. The range of aircraft and liveries is good and hopefully it will be further enhanced in time (several regional Australian carriers are missing for example). I am already considering reclaiming the disk space currently utilised by AIG. Another comment is that there is some lag between FSLTL and FlightRadar24 but this does not detract from the immersion of this wonderful free product very much. Despite already having played with the product I always enjoy hearing your opinions and this time they really brought a smile to my face on hearing your delight.
by "some lag" are we talking minutes of seconds?

One reason i wont use this much is that the traffic is live which sounds great but who really flies live ? (im sure sure some do but it is not really tenable for a lot to fly whole sessions live) not so bad if youre only a few hours out but currently i fly in the mornings uk real world with it set to day time on west coast of US ..No traffic as its the middle of the night. so for now will goto aig first even though its clunkier

Excellent video and overview! This is a stunning addon, easy to install and framerate friendly, and very close to live traffic, less than 30 seconds behind flight radar24 from my experiences so far!

This is an amazing product, however I believe I have discovered a shortcoming. So when I started using FSLTL I noticed that ND TCAS would not display any aircraft in vicinity. So I turned the REAL AIR TRAFFIC back on in TRAFFIC Options, without removing FSLTL folders from the Community folder and did some flights in the FLYBYWIRE A320, but without starting FSLTL. As I expected the TCAS radar was working again along with the FSLTL liveries minus the FSLTL sounds. It seems MSFS TCAS will detect only native traffic. Would love to hear about other users experience in this regard.
Make adjustments to the settings and only 1 traffic app should be running. If the FBW Team puts in the same effort with this as they have with the A320, this will be a game changer.
This isn’t a FBW addon though. It just uses their app launcher.
Very impressed with FSLTL. I experience about 5fps drop in 2d and VR. Still above 30fps in both with 2080ti. No changes to HIGH settings.

it is actually just thing the ai do even the default ai do it all the time so it is not fsltl doing it its just the default ai ground pathing going ballistic
I got rid of AIG, which is very cumbersome. This works great
Just happened to be updating my FBW a32nx and came across this. Watched a short tutorial on how to install everything and I got it up and running extremely quickly and easily. It works great! Please be sure to uninstall AIG, it says specifically it will bug out on you if you have both installed at the same time.
Just tried this out and while it does offer a pretty immersive experience, the FPS drop is holding me off right now. I'm getting about 5-10 less FPS on my system, and while that may not sound significant, every frame counts at airports like iniBuilds' EGLL (which is already a frame-killer by itself). Hoping they can further optimise performance (will that be possible?) and add more customisability options (including telling us what settings will hit our systems harder etc.). Also waiting for JustFlight's solution which I imagine will be better optimised than this because it'll be payware? Perhaps that's why the team at JustFlight are delaying the release.
Just to remind everyone, yes AIG can be used with FSLTL to sort out that A380 Issue for now. As the A380 is not modelled yet in FSLTL.
The donut bug is an Asobo issue, and it has been around since the beginning, and is not a reason for people not to try this addon out. As for the performance hit, for me, on a modest system (i7 10700k CPU and RTX2060 with 32GB of RAM) AIG was killing my performance a lot more than this

Donuts are for Cops not airplanes. I had that issue with AIG but I will be keeping FSLTL because the models and textures are made for MSFS2020. I hope this fixes the stuttering/lags the last 2-4 miles on approach that I have been told the sim trying to draw the AIG AI. Thanks for the video.
Keep in mind that there's a setting in the injection tool that will automatically remove stuck planes after a predetermined number of seconds.
You really should give Vatsim a try. It's fantastic. I don't know who complains about it, I've been flying vatsim for years and have had nothing but awesome experiences.
Can someone explain me on how this is any advantageous over the inbuilt live traffic ? I have the base game from xbox store and it shows live traffic, live atc the only thing it doesn't show is liveries.
I tried this and it’s quite good (I used to use AIG just to paint liveries), it is however a big hitter in VR 10-15fps, so I’m just using it to paint liveries using MS live traffic. Thanks for the heads up
Dropped AIG which was more complicated and didn’t event work properly no matter the settings. This one is way better and smoother just needs more airliners which I hope will come soon, didn’t have to go through and select airlines as in the past
Really considering dropping AIG with this one, though I think I'll wait a bit because the number of modeled planes in FSLTL is much lower than AIG (even if they are higher quality, I prefer higher variety)
It's superb. I can't believe how well it matches Flight Radar 24. It doesn't match to the second (of course) but it really is quite close on my system.

@@Voltomess Sometimes it's within a minute or so. I have seen aircraft coming into land while I am taxing out and looked at Flightradar24 to see what it is and it matches. I usually fly out of Manchester EGCC.
@@SimDeck idk I have a mixed feelings aboiut that I was on one airport and I saw 3 airplanes on radar24 but none of them were shown by flybywire app
@@Voltomess As always it does depend on a lot of things. Your connection, bandwidth, pc specs etc. If it takes your system ages to download and inject that information your timeline is going to be out quite considerably. Have you got the API code from the website stated in many of the tutorials? If not , it's really worth getting because it tighten up things a lot, so to speak.
I have seen the squirrelly acting aircraft on all of the traffic mids. In my opinion, the root cause is the MSFS AI. AIG made mention of deficiencies in the MSFS AI. Total speculation but it is logical and the common thread. I have been waiting on the new FS Traffic but this looks like it is worht a shot.
There is something in settings like after 30-60secnds, bottle necks are cleared out. It's a fair bet, ProAtc will correspond with injected traffic as well. So much for Just Flights payware. I'll also be removing AIG as well. I set traffic level at 50 percent and my frames are solid at 30-35. And I still show a lot of traffic on the ground.
its in windowed mode, change it to full screen. :)...... how much resource is this software taking
Definitely like the increased traffic but asobo is letting us down again because it doesn't handle the injected aircraft properly and display it on TCAS displays.

Hey. How are you seeing a full screen view of that airport and able to zoom out like that to see all that. Is there an add-on that gives you a camera that will do that? I must have it. Anyone?

Thanks for the video info. This really is fantastic, but, there are no Embraers, CRJs, RJ146s and smaller airlines like SAABs and Twin Otters, Hopefully these and more base models will be added in the future.
I just got MSFS about a month ago. Been a long time user of X-Plane. And like to fly General Aircraft. On FSLTL will inject General Aircraft?
Looks really good. Iheard there is performance issues with fbw launcher. For that reason i am going to wait til sort that stuff out.
I am having trouble with melting buildings is there anyway you can do a video on this in the near future ? Hopefully with a fix for this problem. Its real discouraging.
I need some help....I HAD bought simple AI....It was....not great....I took it out of the community folder and seemed to uninstall it....I then downloaded and installed FSLTL. But it looks like there are genaric airplanes still taxiing around and parked at gates in the sim....Did I not uninstall the simple AI?
Dude watch the tutorial as you missed how to configure the FTSL controller.. I have this set up, works great.

Hello. Is there any sort of Guide to implement the AIG aircraft that FSLTL can use? For example, I downloaded Emirates, but when I go to Dubai, I do not see the A380s. The aircraft are in my Simobjects folder AND my community folder. Thank you!

there is only one voice used by FBW guys for ATC & pilots alike. Should have been different to give more realism.

I believe it is because the models are so generic. Hopefully we'll get some in the future as FBW is also developing the 380

Got rid of AIG. Fps wise it's much better on my system.
They need to give us another Canada update as the one we got isn't good enough. All they did was make the city's look a bit more prettier but the rest of the scenery still looks like dog shit. Totally unacceptable
Would have liked a before and after fps drop but it must be a big hit if your 3080 drops to 23fps. I think my 2080 will leave this alone.
Yeah my 3080 is experiencing stutters for the first time in the sim. And I’m only using static traffic.
My RTX2080 is doing fine. He has his settings to high.

@@danceswithsheep3058 I have AIG+FSLTL both installed, Dubai I see around 50FPS with planes parked. Settings on ultra, but move the sliders down 100 each. And put DLSS on quality. You will see average 45-60fps in most areas. But bigger airports you may see 30FPS lowest. 👍🙂
While this is great. The current ATC and AI engine just can't handle any substantial level of AI traffic. Too many go arounds, taxi speeds are slow, ATC can only handle so many instructions. Until these core issues are fixed, there'll be disappointment every time. I am much happier sacrificing ATC while at least getting real AI movements by having the proper models and liveries installed which AIG can do for you.
In a lot of ways it’s worse than FSX even. Ugh.
yeah, AI handling in the sim is def still in a pre beta state.
@@FSLTL Ha, it's honestly back to pre 2004. FS2002 had a leg up in some areas as well.

Not bad for free, but I prefer my $20 program that puts real liveries on defaults. Plus no frame hit at all.
I know Southwest doesn’t fly Airbuses but so what.
I do have small planes and private jets. Plus I’m still waiting for Just Flight’s Traffic, if it ever gets released!

Damn, your settings are ridiculous, no wonder you are getting such a low frame rate, seriously back off the Terrain LOD as that hits the CPU the hardest and you are very much CPU limited and you need a little extra to deal with the traffic for sure. Back that off to 100 and see what you get, plus some of those settings you have on Ultra the difference to the high setting is barely if at all noticeable 99% of the time.
Hello as I've posted elsewhere my initial impressions with FSLTL are probably not as positive as many/most others. FSLTL are very clear that all they do is inject the traffic at the given location; after that everything is back in the hands of the ASOBO AI handling routines which are just as awful as ever. I did a trial at LAX and it was pure comedy gold! I get that FSLTL is not the cause of that, but once you commit to it you are stuck with the ASOBO AI behavior which FSLTL will not alter or improve. AIG seems to have improved a lot of the AI ground behavior, or at least smoothed out the very rough spots. Also, I'm seeing a much bigger impact to performance (frames) with FSLTL than with AIG for a similar amount of traffic so far as well. I like the ease of use of FSLTL and it's much smaller footprint (file size); I'm going to keep playing around with it but I'll have to convince myself that the issues are worth it. Cheers!
I must say I'm not as impressed with it yet. There seem to be issues in data between FSLTL and Flight planner API. It takes a long time to poll data from flight radar to the app at times up to 20 minutes waiting for live traffic. At some airports E.G Prague today I waited 10 minutes for anything to taxi, take off or depart and didn't at all match up to what was happening live in Prague. It was so behind in data that one had landings and take-offs on Runway 24 live at Prague in real life but in the sim and FSLTL Take off and landing was on 06 which was hours ago. There's still something funky going on with the connection to flightradar24
Still lonely out there with this.. maybe not at major airports, but every where else. It makes the game dull.
Sir... If you are going to do an instructional video, you need to know your subject matter BEFORE you record it. If you are asking for subscribers and to monetize your tutorials, you need to be an SME. Figuring it out while we sit here trying to learning something while you stumble around is wasteful. Please redo this video.
