I'm trying to learn how to use GPS ILS navigation, this is helpful. I feel like there is something wrong though, because every time I think I have it working, it will fly right past where I think I've set it up...
I can try help you out, a few questions: 1. What plane are you flying? 2. When you put the ILS in are you selecting straight to or vectors? 3. I’m guessing it’s flying the rest of the flight path correctly? 4. Is it arming the vnav to change your altitude? 5. Are you activating the ILS approach when close to the IAF? I can jump in a discord call to try work out what’s going on if that would be easier?
Thank you so much for this series! Had no idea the ground speed was indicated on the other panel! Any chance you could do the same series for the other non G1000 planes like what the Beechcraft uses or the Pilatus?
I'm glad I've taught at least one person something with these videos then :). Absolutely I can. My next video is going to be a full flight to cover everything the G1000 videos covered and show how I'd complete a full flight with them but after that, I'll make some videos for the Pilatus and Beechcraft. Which Beechcraft in particular is it you're wanting covering?
@@MrStephencw oooh i cant wait till that one comes out! honestly friend, whichever is funnest for you to fly, make/edit, and put together! i enjoy your content buddy! thank you for all you do!
