Thanks for not cheesing the game and using a high pressure tank on the LR-101 stage. IRL that engine was used as a vernier on Thor and Atlas rockets. It didn't have its own turbopump and couldn't operate on its own efficiently from a non-HP tank. It was fed by rocket's main engines pressure.
One suggestion for when you finally get to crewed lunar landings. You could make a small memorial to commemorate cosmonauts and astronauts who died in the advancement of spaceflight during the series. Something like the 'Fallen Astronaut' sculpture, that was left on the Moon by the crew of Apollo 15.

Solid effort this year from the looks of things, though...
    *Burst transmission, Encryption Level Delta*
The Pulya, the newest entry in the soviet KA program has progressed as predicted, able to ascend well beyond the Karmen line, aprox 110 000 metres above sea level, alongside maintaining higher speeds due to an ablative heat resistant coating, albeit only for short periods of time. In addition to other innovations, this is proving that the soviets are likely to get the first kerbal into orbit, and back home once more
This is also indicative of future innovations that are being worked on, 150 tone launch vehicles that are being rated for lunar transfer... a rather catastrophic failure at launch with the new first stage R107 engines has delayed the soviets launch to lunar orbit, but their upper stage is now also vacuum rated, meaning their next attempt is likely to succeed without intervention. Suggest disruption of soviet communication satellite launches to prevent them expanding their launch windows, as they are already working on further expansions to their tracking stations to cope with the influx of data.

      DECRYPTION DETECTED... REFRACTURE COMPLETE...SENDING MESSAGE
Your report has been filed and plans are underway. Commence and sustain operations on RD107 manufacturing plants as usual. This will buy us time for Operation Hide the Moon to come to fruition. Thank you for your service.

Understood, will maintain current operational activity to stimy future efforts
adendum on previous message. Any claims of the recently launched soviet weather satalite being a spy satalite are false. Both from the profile of its orbit now, and on having seen the payload myself. Powered by solar pannels, it contains a suite of atmospheric sensors that, while potentially useful for predicting weather in the continental united states, is otherwise useless for the monitoring of future launches and troop movements lacking both radio detection and vissual imaging equipment. However... there is no guarentee of future launches from baikonur not being actual spy satalites, so keep aware.

I would like to propose the names for the manned spaceflight programs which I believe will be upcoming in the future for the goal of landing a manned vessel on the moon.
    Mercury-equivalent program:
    Inspiration
Being the stepping stone of man's definitive presence in space, this program will be the inspiration of other programs of extending this goal or, better yet, expanding it into more challenging endeavours to fulfill.
The Russian equivalent for this word is Вдохновение (Vdokhnoveniye).
    Gemini-equivalent program:
If four or more astronauts die in the previous program:
    Aristotle
Despite previous setbacks, the goal of landing a man on the moon and hopefully returning him safely is still within reach. The program aims to make this goal more reachable regardless of circumstances. After all, the end justifies the means, right?
If one, two or three astronauts die in the previous program:
    Phoenix
Despite the previous program's setbacks, the goal of landing a representative of Kerbalkind on the moon and returning that representative safely back to Kerbin is still well within reach. Lessons were learned from the previous setbacks and will be used in this program to make sure the goal is fulfilled successfully. This program aims to test the technologies necessary to pave the way for this goal to come to fruition and man's capability of living in space for extended periods of time. With the success of this program, the Foundation's reputation and morale will be skyhigh once again, like a phoenix rising from its ashes.
If no astronauts die in the previous program:
    Illumination
With the success of the previous program, the path to fulfilling the goal of landing a representative of Kerbalkind on the moon and returning that representative safely back to Kerbin is shinning brighter, as bright as the moon's lustre. This program aims to make the light brighter by testing the technologies necessary to pave the way for this goal to come to fruition and man's capability of living in space for extended periods of time. With its success, it will illuminate the path to fulfill this goal with a light brighter than ever.
The closest Russian equivalent I can get for this is Освещение (Osveshcheniye).
I also would like to propose to name the vessel to land on the moon Frisk. I don't know why, but to me, it seems like Frisk's journey to the Underground is seemingly similar to the steps in landing a manned vessel on the moon, such as the climb to Mount Ebott (TLI), descend into the underground (DOI and PDI), and returning to the surface (TEI). There's a lot more to this, but I don't really think I want go that far.
Note: All translations are from Google Translate.

I think the best option is to make a new second stage for the Pathfinder. Probably something similar to the Atlas V Centaur Upper stage with double bells since you have just unlocked your titan parts.

      @N9GamingOfficial  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

Titan parts will take another half a year to unlock, but even so the RL10 from the Centaur stage is another 2 or so tech nodes away - but we'll get there ;)
