No they don't, they are murdered here on a regular basis. Those bird murdering pieces of shit are ripped to bits by my dogs if we can get a hold of them. They are a penalty to wildlife. At least 20 cats are killed at my place a year, maybe more. Don't let your cat near my place, or it will die.
I agree with the last comment in the video: "the relationship between cats and humans can not be described with words". There's something absolutely surreal in a cat-human relationship. It's all about mutual trust and respect for one another's independence and freedom. It's "we get together when we want", there's no obligation whatsoever. In fact, it's like a perfectly balanced couple: both trust each other so much that they live together all the time without infringing on one another's own private space. Isn't that the secret of a solid, time defying, lasting relationship? (42 years of experience living with cats, and married to my human wife since 1996...).

I need no words to describe my relationship with my two Russian Blues. One of which is sitting right beside me this very moment watching me type this...lol.

Fun fact: In the wild, cats only vocalize to other cats in 3 specific situations. The first is to call to a mate. The second is to serve as a warning through hissing. The third is to unnerve a larger animal, not always a cat to make them sound nastier than they are. Cats vocalize to their human guardians because they have taken notice that humans talk to each other. It also is proof that cats more than any other animal, want to be with humans.

i know right! thats why when i had to give mine up or we were all gonna be homeless it kills me inside to this day. every time i start thinking about them i feel alot of emotions but mainly three, a deep deep sorrow and depression, hatred and guilt. sorrow and depression because i could no longer care for them unless i did something HIGHLY ILLEGAL, hatred towards myself because i stabbed the only good thing i had in my life the last 16 years in her back, and guilt because no matter how hard i tried it wasnt enough and i feel like i could have done more but somehow didnt. those three things kill me every second i wake up till i go to sleep and sometimes even when i sleep. recently i woke up sobbing from a dream i had of them and i cried for the entire day. cats are truly precious in a special way and to betray their trust to me is unforgivable.

Sorry to hear of your loss. From the very first time we meet our pets, we realize that, at some point, we're going to say goodbye. I lost a great male blue-gray tuxedo cat last year. I don't remember ever being so sad about losing a pet.
42 years of living with cats (6 of them) has taught me one thing: when you lose one, get yourself another one ASAP. It's difficult to live without them. And by getting a new furball, you'll realize that each of them is different and deserves a new set of attention. Your new friend will quickly heal your wounds - speaking from experience. Take care!
I only wish I was financially capable of doing more for more animals. At my house there reside 4 indoor cats, 6 outdoor pet cats and ?? Around 4 outside neaborhood friendly cats who have all but moved in. I've spent a small fortune over the last year or so keeping three of them healthy trips to the vet are not cheap. I was apauled one day having taken one special outdoor female kitty in to have several K9 bite wounds treated to which the $$ bill was close to 500.00 my heart sunk as the vet tech asked if I preferred to euthanize this cat? To which I remember thinking how heartless Must this guy be? And opted to save one who ever only exhibited

I had this special bond with this one cat that my family used to have. I met him in late September of 1981 when he was a stray cat. It was my fault on him for being sweet and friendly towards him. He was more than my cat for a little bit over 12 years. He was a very sweet and friendly cat. He was a wonderful friend towards me. Even when he cuddled with me. He was treated liked a dog. I used to be an absolute dog person. But then I met Mia, my Maincoon girl. Here I realized how different cats are comparing to what I thought. And the Maincoons are even more! They’re literally like dogs! Mia’s is such a gué and lovely always, wherever , forever follower to me🖤🖤 Never scratched me , never get anything but absolute lovely being. And getting so well along with my Bernese Mountain dog Dahlia - beat Friends!!! Soooo happy to have met her. My family! 🖤🖤🖤

True! A dog person will act with a cat as if shown a transparent sheet of paper: dog people tend to look for clear signs of affection from their pets. Cat people will look for ways to please their little feline furball, they'll observe the little creature and find a way to adapt to the character of the cat, whatever it is. These are two very different mindsets.
Me and my girlfriend have two cats(one each before we started dating)and my little furball has a somewhat painful way of showing love, when she's super snuggly - she will do these really small bites(mostly on your hand on arm), with her tiny front teeth - we call them love-nibles. She pretty much always does this when I(we) go to sleep and she's "making the bed"(kneading the cover on my stomach) The irony is, because she's using her smallest front teeth, it actually hurts like hell, waaay more than if she tried to take like an actual big bite🤣
My CATNIP loves to bite my arm, my hand . He puts 2 front paws round my arm and nibbles and bites. I love him so much for that, because I know he loves me two. A life without a cat is no real life. Looking into his eyes early in the morning, makes me giggle, smile. A good start ❤🐈❤🐈❤🐈❤🐈❤
I am a mailman. All cats on my route are my friends they all come over for a pet and some mauw to greet me. A few new ones still check me out from a distance but with each of those the distance get less each day till they let me pet them. I always had a kind of feeling with cats. I often know how their emotion is by looking at them I see if there happy to see me and like a pet or if they are a bit scared then I usually just talk to them and show them I dont come closer then they allow. With my own cats that goes ever deeper and I can see when they like a clean litterbox or when they want to be picked up and hugged or when they are thirsty or hungy each sound they make is a bit different and I can read it all. Not sure why I have this gift but I just love cats and am happy to be able to read them so good. Its also helped me with one of my rescues who was molested by previous owners. It took years of love and patience to heal him from that and to trust humans again. But that time wasnt a waiste as hes know a sweet caring cat with not a bad bone in hes body.

Cat people will look for ways to please their little feline furball, they'll observe the little creature and find a way to adapt to the character of the cat, whatever it is. Me and my girlfriend have two cats(one each before we started dating)and my little furball has a somewhat painful way of showing love, when she's super snuggly - she will do these really small bites(mostly on your hand on arm), with her tiny front teeth - we call them love-nibles. She pretty much always does this when I(we) go to sleep and she's "making the bed"(kneading the cover on my stomach) The irony is, because she's using her smallest front teeth, it actually hurts like hell, waaay more than if she tried to take like an actual big bite🤣
My CATNIP loves to bite my arm, my hand . He puts 2 front paws round my arm and nibbles and bites. I love him so much for that, because I know he loves me two.

More humans should learn how cats communicate, not the other way round.
I am a mailman. All cats on my route are my friends they all come over for a pet and some mauw to greet me. A few new ones still check me out from a distance but with each of those the distance get less each day till they let me pet them. I always had a kind of feeling with cats. I often know how their emotion is by looking at them I see if there happy to see me and like a pet or if they are a bit scared then I usually just talk to them and show them I dont come closer then they allow. With my own cats that goes ever deeper and I can see when they like a clean litterbox or when they want to be picked up and hugged or when they are thirsty or hungy each sound they make is a bit different and I can read it all. Not sure why I have this gift but I just love cats and am happy to be able to read them so good. Its also helped me with one of my rescues who was molested by previous owners. It took years of love and patience to heal him from that and to trust humans again. But that time wasnt a waiste as hes know a sweet caring cat with not a bad bone in hes body.
