13.1 to 11.3 100 Meter Transformation

- This is a montage of all of my 100 meter personal best showing a progression. This took about 3 years and 8 months. While the progression seemed very linear there were many moments where I didn't run PRs and sometimes ran bad times. But that didn't stop me from eventually improving. Those loses where necessary for growth and were a part of the process. The journey is an ongoing pursuit. Subscribe to follow the journey

Crazy improvement man!
I peaked at 17 with a time of 10.9 and went nationals. Then corona hit and everything stopped, you motivate me to start running 100m again haha
I have a question. Is it good to run 15.84 seconds at 12 years old over 100m after an hip and leg affecting injury
@@On1_Master it's good so keep practising
@@On1_Master Yes I ran similar times to you at the same age and I'm now running under it in 10 seconds, so it's definitely possible but you have to train a lot and eat as healthy as you can
@@On1_Master doesnt matter if its good or not keep pushing yourself u'll see results
@@On1_Masternot an amazing time by any means but with plyometric training along with working on form you can get your time from 16 to say 13-12 in just a few months. I myself am around your age and ran slightly faster than you when I was your age but with inconsistent form and plyo workouts I’m now averaging around 12 ish
From one sprinter to another, keep pushing man. You’ll get to sub 11 in no time 💪🏾
17, state sprinter from Malaysia. Went from 12.67 to 10.94 in 2.5 years, the big gap was probably because my form was bad and fixed my form a year later which made it 11.38, slowly train till 10.94
I'm not sure if you will see this comment, but I just wanted to say that it was really cool to watch your progress throughout the video. We have just about the same exact times in both the 100 and the 200 (11.33 and 22.93) and it was great to see the little improvements and the tweaks to each race that came up. I love seeing the videos and look forward to your next one. Congrats!
Thank you! keep it up as well
I am right there with y'all. 11.1; 22.7; 49.9
i just realised it said boys 15-16 y/o meet is Adam a teenager? his physique is insane for a teen I thought he was in his twenties
Those clips were old, right now he is around about 19/20 so you were right anyways
I’m currently 19 but in a lot of those clips I was 16-18
@@gucciparada4281 to get a build like that just from sprinting is crazy makes want to rethink the years I put into being a gym rat
im ur age bruh im still stuck on just sub 13 seconds man
To be under 12 second you need some crazy physique
I commend your total effort and the excellent progress you made. Break 11!!!
Your perseverance is admirable
Dont listen to people who think you cant make it,maybe your not one of the best right now but if you continue,in few years your can reach your goals, the hardest thing is to be persistant,go for it,i now you can and thanks for sharing your progresion, thats asome! GBY🙏
These sprinting progression videos always make me want to go outside to time my 100m, also it encourages me to do what I want to do in the next few years - self training myself to become a Paralympian. (Vision impaired)
I'm glad my video made you feel that way. You can can do all things that you set your mind to.
@cubest817
DO IT!!
You were very brave to compare the first half and the best time. Many years ago I ran between the ages of 11 and 15. My times were very poor: 8"0 in the 60 meters (13yo), 10"2 in the 80 (13yo), 12"8 in the 100 (14yo). My schoolmates felt an inexplicable envy. I dreamed of being like Pietro Mennea but I didn't train! So, at 15, I stopped running. I won a race in my city at 11 in the 80 meters with a time of 11"0 (exactly 40 years ago in May), beating more than 200 children in 5 competitions (for a month). It was the Teen Athletics Games. An article was published in the local newspaper with my name. I have good memories despite my short sporting experience. I hope you can improve further.
What an awesome story, thank you for sharing.
@@AdamPlanetary 🙂🙏
I had hope til I saw 15-16 yo boys. I thought you were a grown man haha. Don't stop man. I went from 12.9-11.4 in hs. I'm about to be 32 and doubt I could run 14 right now. Don't stop, it's so damn hard to get back. Good job.
U can always get back man. Sprinting is really good for longevity. I recommend easing back into it. You won’t regret it
@@AdamPlanetary the easing part is what's hard haha. My brain remembers what to do, my body feels so clumsy. It's confusing at first, but been lazy too long. My little brother humbled me a couple summers ago, but good motivation.
Stay motivated and keep working hard You can do more better than it because you have potential
I'm 14 run 13 seconds flat. In a year I hope to reach sub 12, as I am training with professional and d1 athletes. You inspired me to chase this goal.
your slow im 14 running 12.3s your not making it pro bro
@@JaceParker-ux1yhwhy say that realistically anybody would roll you😂
Whatever you do, dont stop
Nice vid. Fair play for putting all the effort in.
Awesome progress really well done - and an inspiring video - keep working hard and good luck!
from a ex Italian sprinter, really good job bro!! With work on your power first steps you could reach a lot, nothing to say on your second half. I'm waiting for 200hm 😏😏 with this long standing speed attitude..😎
Nice work! Still have a long way to go...Keep it up!
Nice job you went from jogging to sprinting and now your old sprint is just a stride for you
i run for calvary christian academy, I don't remember if I've ever seen you run, but if I do, I'll make sure to watch. good job bro
Keep going for sub 11! If you keep pushing you might even make nationals
Thank you !
You'd love to see it. Great work man 👊🏽
im a 200m runner i went from a freshman at 25.5 seconds to a junior at college at 20.99 the grind is real
Muito bom! Parabéns pelos resultados
Continue firme 🙌
You need to try the 200 brother. Your long strides will be able to maneuver past shorter guys in the longer distance
This awesome man! Keep working!
Hi
Just came across your vid. And when I was 16. I was able to run 11 sec for the 100m I am now 59. You can do it. Control your breathing is the key learn to relax . Every one is different in that respect. Find your control and the body will do the rest.. Good luck
Felicidades también hay factores que influyen como genética, comida , sueño y entrenamiento
Your welcome adam , keep up the great stuff ❤🫶
I love your effort and commitment your top end speed is really good you need to work on your start a bit then you will defo get sub 11!
This is one of the best progression ive seen i hope to see you run sub 11 i run a 12.7 and im 16 so im tryna get sub 12 within the next year you reckon that's possible?
It depends on how well you train. If you’re willing to undergo what needs to be done it should be possible.
It’s possible with good genetics and proper decent training. The genetics are really important.
And now we have christian miller with a 9.93 while a high schooler.
Next video should be - 11.3 to sub 10 100 meter transformation
At univesity, my BEST time was 12.89, im out 2 years, imma try this One again, i dont know how long It Will take me to be under 13s again, then under 12 seconds
your cooked
Inspiring!
Good job 👏
Usain 9. Sec is just crazy
Es admirable ver que cada vez es mas rapido felicidades 👏 🎉
Muchas gracias
if this guy learn and work very hard he would do amazing at 400m hurdle or 400 m.
improve like that again and I will not think this is just BS. I think a 3 more years would be worth it
Awesome video! What app are you using you using to record/time runs?
Let me give you a lil advice so when you start out the blocks start with a power full pace and keep that same pace until you reach the finish line but don't rise your head up to early
Dude hush
Bro your top speed is very good work on your reaction speed and start
AWESOME!
this is awesome, what app/website do you use to time yourself? I can't seem to find a good one, and i really want to see if I'm sub 12 yet
In the video I showed the Jawku and SprintTimer app. Nowadays I use another app called onform to track my times.
hi bro, i'm a sprinter too, if i can give you some advices, put your shoulder a bit forward and stay 2/3 foot more in the acceleration phase. Keep pushing bro, :D
Nice transformation. How old were you when you started and how old when finished this transformation?
excellent it is nice to see this progress. He yes to progress it takes time- Hat low - 01 sub from me From france :)
what app did u use to track your times?
Anyone know?
I used SprintTimer and Jawku
@@AdamPlanetary thank you!
No you are my inspiration man!
❤❤❤❤
Good song choice
Keep pushing bro think u can get sub 11 if u work on ur start. It needs work
what age did you start here? im 16 and currently run around 12.6, hopefully trying to get to 11.4 by 18
Im a hooper but my 100m pr last year(i was 14) was 12.82 and later i got injured i was inactive for almost 10 months, I've started playing again and today i checked my 100m then it was around 15s it has dropped a lottt, any tips for me? Cuz im considering to change my sport to a track athlete.
I ran in my middle school, I want to run again atleast for my health
🔥 🔥🔥
Man u're really cool
Great stuff. What are the two mobile apps you used to time yourself?
The orange one is Jawku and the other one is sprint timer
gooood
Nice improvement, I’m trying to get near 11.0 in one year and rn my pr is 11.89. do you think it’s doable?
Tbh It doesn't matter what anyone else thinks. Your ability to achieve your goal is solely dependent on what you think you can do. You can have many people tell you it's possible but you won't achieve it unless you truly believe in yourself. Start today!
I start running 12.5 sec ...then 10years later my pb was 11.3. The speed is crazy and very dificult to improve ...and i think i forgot alot of technik work
I have a question. Is it good to run 15.84 seconds at 12 years old over 100m after an hip and leg affecting injury
Hi man, congrats, what was your 10m fly and 30m fly with that 11.3 ?
I dropped down to 11.2 and now my flys are 10m:0.98, 30m: 2.99
@@AdamPlanetary Its that 0.98 your best? And whats is your average times?
@SunOmega on average I run about 1.02-1.05
@@AdamPlanetary thank you, my best is 1.00 now. May i ask one last thing, have you ever timed a 30m start? And also a 60m?
yessssss
cool!
Trying to get 11.9 here in 100m. How long should I expect to get there from a low thirteen? Any tips you can provide? I appreciate anything, thank you.
I was also training since late spring though
4:10 was he racing old men😂
Well.done
Good progress👍🏻respect from Ukraine 🇺🇦
You need fast stitch fibers genetically for sprinting. Try 400/800mtrs you will dominate.
Some fibers can be converted into fast ones if trained specifically for sprinting or other powerful sports.
By the way they are called twitch not stitch 😂
By the way 2.0 the 400m event is still fast twitch mucle fibers dominant.
By the way 3.0 don't think it this way! Not only because someone couldn't have (because how you know?) the best genetics for the sorts they play/do/train for they have to change it. Let him enjiy what he's doing!
How did u improve soo quick
Sub 11 is around the corner
What app did you use to time yourself in the beginning??
SprintTimer
How much time is this entire progression?
With this one i go to 5
I'm 19 years old and my time in 100m is 14 seconds (so sad) but I am in my beginning In track You think it's too late fom me? Some advices to improve my speed plz
It’s never too late to start brother. Have a very strong visualization of what your goals are and go out there and get it. If you want some track and field tips you can check out my other vids where I go into depth about all the different components of sprint training.
@@AdamPlanetary thank you bro Your words motivated me
Okay I'm going to watch them
Faut descendre sous la barre des 11 maintenant
If I run 12.06 at 15, would it be possible for me to rub sub 11 at 16?
Bro just go train hard, the only person who can decide if it is possible is you
Must be because of his tall frame, but his legs seem to move very slow.
I ran 10.83 when I was 17 then had to give up the sports for studying 😢
It’s never too late to start training again
What app did you use at 0:42
11 seconds is still pretty fast
What apps do tou use?
Yo que siempre quice ser el mejor del mundo y noo pude por miedo y por que no tuve esa ayuda que necesitaba 😭😥
La única necesidad es uno mismo. No tengas miedo y siempre hagas tu mejor. Cualquier camino que escojas va hacer difícil. No termines arrepentisido.
I used to ran in 11.35 when I was 16, without a specific training. What's the point of this video?
Literally a 1.8 seconds of improvement over the months/years.
Don't say it like your the boss no one gives af about your time at 16 without training.
More purpose than your comment tho.
@@Luca_._ I'm not the boss and 11.35 is trash. Everyone with a proper training can improve his performances. So, I repeat, what's the point?
@@blau8612 the point is showing his personal improvement.
So lemme understand with your reasoning what can be posted? Nothing? If someone plays and records videogames than everyone can play videogames, if someone posts music (wether singing or playing) than everyb…
Bro c'mon your comment was pure hate.
The question is: will you continue to deny and sustain your useless point or will you just stop doing it?
P.S. note that no one has seen our debate so you can drop out from this "point".
P.S 2.0 11.35 is not trash at all btw! Who knows how fast you would be now…
Everything can be posted, but I'm free not to automatically like it. If you post something publicly, you must accept positive AND negative feedbacks. I like to see special/unusual/weird contents, not normal/common/average ones. You call it hate, I call it personal taste.
@@blau8612 ok I like how you responded. At the same time tho one thing is not liking it, another is asking what's the purpose of the video while it's literally wrote in the title other than just easy to get.
And the fact that a critical person like you "miss" this detail makes me think "ok this is borderline hating".
i ran a 27 200 with a 13.4 second first 100m do you have any tips for speed endurance???
I made a whole video on speed endurance it’s called “how to improve your speed endurance”
I run 11.4 at 16 6ft2
How much time you take from 13.1 to 11.3
I ran 11.3 for the first time in 2022 and the first clip was in 2020. So about 2 years.
and what's your time today?@@AdamPlanetary
whats the app you used to see what you ran for your 100?
The Jawku
He may want to do more 200 or 150.
what's the name of the app
Too stressed especially towards the end. Look at shacarri Richardson’s races and notice the relaxed manner and consistency. Focus on your technique not who’s around you and you’ll improve even more. Flo Jo’s technique was relaxation.
I ran 11.6 barefoot on grass with no blocks and no training, just trying to see how fast I was
what do you think helped the most and was key
Near max intensity sprints with long rest
@@AdamPlanetary what distance and what rest?
i run 13.11 im 13 is that good
So this was 2 years progress right?
So you said you got to it in 2 years. If you had to do it all over again with what you know now, how fast do you think you could have done it?
There are guys who have went from 11.8 to 10.9 in 1 year by using track clubs, they train 9-11 months out of the year and make big jumps.
Id say do offseason
@@JskaAjao Me too... Not doing it is stupid especially if you want to be really good at it.
100% train in the off season. Have a good coach. Some people can make huge jumps with just that. I never did and it took me until this year to run a 10.5. If I really bought in earlier and tried harder I would probably be closer to 10.2 by now.
What app you use to see the exact time????
Jawku
@@AdamPlanetary but this app 0:42
