Hello Sir..... Great job at describing both boats! Question.....have you river tested the wider 1872 jet models? Can you give me your thoughts on performance against the 1860? ......I value your opinion because of your experience. Thank you....... ~Ed~
Edward M. Hey Ed , I prefer the wider boats for the stability and shallower draft when loaded .... there is not a big difference in speed between the 60 & 72” bottom boats

awesome .i want to use one for gold dredging. in my favorite river .down south. i have drawm up blue prints. on how i would mount my 15 foot .sluicebox. and twin 9hp.honda pumps,with 263 compressor. . oh yea .cool
How much 2072 w/ a 140 Suzuki Jet.
why not a ball park. price figure .like 25.000 or roughly 30 thou..something. just an idea. of the cost.then i can figure if its worth drive to check them out

Any car, boat or atv dealer that won't give you a ballpark price, I would be cautious. Ballpark prices doesn't hurt when it comes to competition sales, so there's not many reasons left not to give one.

Because I've been blocked from launching at PUBLIC boat ramps before by numbskulls who leave their rig on the ramp. Had to call the cops and have em towed off it. No way to know you were on a private ramp.

SCBullterriers yeah, the 2072 has more displacement, takes less water in general and when loaded it resists to drafting deep better

Your concerns are spot on. Had that same problem when we tried to come in after hours on the water.
I'd be concerned that they let him use a Jeep to tow it. It'll pull it, I'd just worry about emergency stops. Jeeps don't weight much.
