Ah Snehal that is SO lovely to hear! 🥰 Thank you so much for taking the time to leave this message, hugely appreciated! I hope your baby continues to go to sleep quicker than taking 2/3 hours as that is hard work for you mama! I’ve been there believe me….. and…. it’s so boring to hear but it DOES get better and easier soon x x x
Hi! I'm so happy to hear it helped you :) Well done to you for looking for something to help your baby and for your magic hands that did the job so perfectly! Thanks for taking the time to leave your lovey comment, I really appreciate it x x
I do this everyday after a bath for my 4 month old, he’s a super active little boy just like your baby so it helps calm him for a bit but that sleep regression is something else.🤦🏾♀️
Hey, so happy to hear you are massaging your baby boy and yes that 4 month sleep regression is hard going.... I hope it all settles for you very soon. Thanks for watching and for taking the time to comment x
Hi there, thanks for your query If you can give me some more specific info I might be able to help or signpost you to someone better qualified than me for advice? Welcome to email me lucyholistic@gmail.com if you don’t want to share details on here x
Hi, so sorry for this delayed reply. You can try this massage any time of the day that works for you. You could try the massage after he has had his 20 minutes sleep and a good feed after (wait 20/30 mins after his last feed) so that he is rested and fed and can enjoy the massage. If it works better for you after the bath then that is fine too. You could also try a reflexology routine: Reflexology for Sleep: th-cam.com/video/3KzYgLJD5Zg/w-d-xo.html Again, any time of the day you can try this. Let us know how you get on ! x
Lyz I'm so sorry I missed this, christmas holidays have been hectic! Here is a short video about how to choose a massage oil for your baby: th-cam.com/video/VrAthVO1lRI/w-d-xo.html To sum up: 0-4 weeks: It is recommended that gentle massage strokes are given over clothes and the use of oils avoided. 4-8 weeks: Plain unscented oil is recommended until baby is at least 8 weeks old so that your scent is not masked. 8 weeks and beyond: Scented oils may be used with caution. 12 weeks and beyond: Essential oils may be considered with guidance from an aromatherapist. Hope this helps Lyz! Happy Massaging x
Hi Marium, here's a short video for a lovely back massage! I hope your baby enjoys! If you get a chance, come back and let us know :) Back Massage: th-cam.com/video/7dMSDWp0OwU/w-d-xo.html
Amaka yes you can massage your two week old baby (three weeks now sorry for my delayed reply!) Just take it easy and only for a couple of minutes - you can build it up to longer over time.... Enjoy!
Yes it does, the tricky thing will be getting your baby to lie still for it! Good luck 😋 Really hope it helps, I used to put the TV on for my littlest whilst I massaged him x
Hi Mounica, apologies for this terribly late reply. The oil I used for my baby in this video is by a company in Brighton UK called Organic Monkey and the oil is called 'Hello Mellow' can find it here: UK Massage Oil: bit.ly/3N8PrXc Also please find here a video explaining acceptable oils to use for your baby, namely Sunflower, Coconut or Grapeseed Oil. Do we need to bath baby after massage
Hi Trupti, no need to bath your baby after their massage and it’s quite nice to let the nourishing massage oil moisturise the skin afterwards.
Can I run on back instead ?
Yes you absolutely can 👍🏼
Does this works for 15months baby ?
Yes it does, the tricky thing will be getting your baby to lie still for it! Good luck 😋 Really hope it helps, I used to put the TV on for my littlest whilst I massaged him x
