Sensational performance Tim. It's tough doing a Marathon alone like that but it really gives you an armour and confidence. I've done a few virtual London Marathon runs by myself and enjoyed the challenge. I was really willing you on there and what an awesome time and finish. Brilliant mate.

MARM, I am really impressed how you can talk so well running at this pace, great multitasking. And great time! By the way, in the beginning, when you were saying the traffic was so heavy that early in the morning, is because they were all turning right onto the field (probably a car boot field). How could you even talk and listen to the book at the same time? I want to know what happened to that nun. (Funny that you put the picture from The Sound of Music, there are so many pictures of 15th century nuns on line :-) )
I am happy to confirm that the Nun (Catherine) and the monk (Thomas) reawakened their relationship in Lincoln.
And then later again on a riverbank.

Excellant Run , how did you manage food and water etc ? being on your own
Little bladder of water in shorts pocket (not enough) and a couple of energy gels. Don’t normally carry much stuff but learnt a lesson. Brown urine afterwards….
@@middleagedrunningman hmmm ok , you've not really sold me on that strategy but good stuff nevertheless , i'm a youngster myself at 46 been running a year , i love your videos as it shows it how it is . Running is hard and it hurts and i wonder why i am doing it but i still do .....🤣👍
You’ve got to keep going. Hurts less and less. Can honestly say I’d be lost without running!

Saddos standing in a field at 7am., exchanging tat to fill their pebble dash B&Q conservatories, and imperious entitled cyclists. You've pretty much nailed the British sunday morning. It sounds like Katherine & I were separated at birth, although it was all the kneeling that did for me. Not sure I'll be able to lay aside my aversion to all things "Toby", to seek out said tome though. Ultra, schmultra, you're too young. Nail some hefty 5 & 10k PB's first.

Well done Timothy. ‘They ended up in the same cell and escaped using some metal.’ Your taste in books is sometimes surprisingly questionable.
I’ve established that the metal in fact came from an armoured jacket the nun had been forced to “wash”.
Perfectly, perfectly plausible.
How the actual.. Do you manage to set off so rapidly.. Are you not aware of the RUNNERS RULES which dictates that the first mile should be a sluggish mile of hell with lungs refusing to participate, followed by 2nd mile of slightly faster torture.. Lungs now designing to join in but legs saying W. T. F... ITS the weekend.. Why!!.. All good after that, skippety skip but to bang out that early start means that your humanity is questionable 😂
