I bought the kit, I’m still trying to find some documentation on the differences between the 2 little red nozzles. Yes I’m sure I will figure it out after the first can but the point of reading directions are to know before starting the project. I’m very poor and had to save up almost a month to buy this. Every can come with a set of nozzles. Nozzle A for wall use and nozzle B is ceiling use which has 45 degree angle.

To reduce noise you need mass, all things that weigh much . . . so foam is not the best, but it does reduces the high tones better than the low.

One can does 20 sqft at 1in thick about 5.5R with a price of $22. 1 in styro has a 5 R value on average and covers 32sqft an $25 a sheet. I don't see how this is so horrendous. This is very cost effective for rim joist.
