I just bought the watch and even when i had my other galaxy watches i would still carry my phone with me so not having a GPS or NFC is not a big deal to me ,for the price and for what it does i think its a fantastic FIT TRACKER.
Can it record your running if you go for a run and leave your phone somewhere? Like would it still count activities if the phone is not connected at that moment? Sorry if it's a stupid question, there were some comments that it is not fully functional if there is no phone nearby
The one thing that I believe was missed was that the band has red diodes as well as the green. My Samsung Galaxy 4 watch had only the green diode. The Fit3 is a fitness band so it won't have the bells and whistles. I don't pay with my watch and I carry my phone with me on my walks and runs so the GPS is used there.
I have two questions about this watch. Firstly, does it have the alarm feature that the regular Galaxy smartwatch has? I could set up alarms on my old Galaxy smartwatch and it would vibrate to wake me up in the morning. Secondly, can you turn off bluetooth in the settings? I know the watch has aeroplane mode which turns off all network capability, but on my old Galaxy you could turn off bluetooth on it's own.
Great video man! I've got a Fitbit Charge 4 right now, and I don't need one of these because my current tracker works well already, but I really want one so I'm conflicted 😩
I have a problem with my Fit 3 - at some point every day (not sure yet if always the same) the number of steps on the Fit 3 doubles but stays correct on the phone. This was possibly caused by an update (or maybe recent international travel taking me in and out of different time zones?). Does anybody have the same problem? Even better, does anybody have a fix?
Does the watch still track steps even though its not connected to the phone. Like can I do a 2 mile run and leave my phone at home? Will it still record those steps ?
@RendonTech I see, To me, that's the big deal breaker. I want to run without my phone on me lol but if it won't track my steps, then I'll just save up for a full Samsung watch with GPS in it or w.e alternative. Running with a phone is cumbersome sometimes, lol
If you want to track the physical route on the map, as in see where you have gone on your run, you will need your phone, but if you just want to track your steps on the run, and see how far you have run, how many steps you have taken, what your heart rate was, pace etc. Then you do not need your phone, you only need your phone for location tracking.
@@steroberry what do you need internet for when running? You can't run without the phone. The step counter won't be 1 to 1 accurate but its still good enough if you do want to leave yor phone at home
I have a watch 6 classic but I don't want to sleep with it so if I buy a fit 3, will I be able to use watch 6 in the day and fit 3 after work hours together? Do step counting adds up for both? Thanks.
I bought fit 3 because I dont want my watch 6 getting wet with my sweat and sleeping with fit 3 is much better. My fit 3 will arrive next week so I'll update you if you needed time. But I saw in one review multiple galaxy watches are automatically synced and connect to what you wear but can also manually switch as well. I'll update you once I got it.
Fit3 will not connect to a pixel 6. Retailer tried his Huawei. Service centre guy in low yat plaza tried his Xiaomi. Neither can connect to Fit3. Seems that at this stage you need a Samsung phone. Looks like I have a RM 300 brick.
have u encounter any problems with the touch screen , when u have sweaty hands or in rainy weather ? most of the smart watch bands in the market have insensitive touch problems , under rainy weather
No thanks, I was going to upgrade but that is the ugliest watch I have ever seen and less then 7 day battery life when promised 14 days makes it five times not worth it
Good review. You can send quick text responses and add more of them
Thank you! And thank you for mentioning that I forgot to say that in the review!

Awesome! 7 day battery life is what I was looking for.
What are YOUR thoughts on the Samsung Galaxy Fit 3 👀
It has all the fitness features plus some of the smart watch features ..... Good purchase
Thanks for your review, I will be buying one of these because of your review (they should give you kickbacks ;)
I'm getting this at my birthday!

does the step counter convert to distance in km or miles? Do you have to carry phone for step counter to work?

At the moment I'm not sure, I will test this out and then get back to you. I typically always have my phone on me

No it don't have GPS, you would need your phone with you
you need gps for location but the steps will automatically be tracked by the tracker

I have the galaxy watch 6 44mm and i don’t use those extra features. The fit 3 will be moor usefull for me.
same here
Do we have to carry our Mobile in our Pocket while running ? For interernet etc that this device needs ? or other requirements this watch has ?

Only connects to Galaxy phone. Confirmed by Samsung.
Got a Huawei P40 lite, works good.
Not worth to buy if you dont have samsung galaxy phone.. better buy huawei fit SE (if available on ur country)
I noticed an update to the Fit3 plugin had been rolled out on 10 June. I tried connecting to my pixel again and it's fine.

How about music? Can it download music or install music app?
No it has very low storage
Is this watch waterproof?
Yes
The battery is only 208 mAh Don't expect a miracle on high brightness 😎
I never put the brightness on full blast, and the times I do its not for more than a couple of hours
Fit 3 desconect bluetooth whi?
Watts charger??
$49.99 on amazon right now lol
We dont want promo videos. We want actual review.
How accurate step count?
Have you did drop test?
Have you did water test?
Just a lame video
If the price decrease a little bit and theres no gps, what is the sense👎
