Seeing the thumbnail, I though the "G" logo was for Google...
Same
Same
That just proves how the new google logo is so basic and lame. This literally looks like it -> Google
The Google G is in Google's Product Sans, not Roboto.
Same
calling it a "global mobile" is one thing, but the fact that the contact app says "contracts" is a whole other level
its a total contract not a “contact” app
When china tries to sell us products
china is bruh
correction: this is not running any version of Android but it's actually running a Java operating system called Symbian. The font, Java app and fullscreen pop-ups about the charger and everything gives it away
This is not symbian, symbian was mostly used in Nokia smartphones in the 2000s. This is most likely MediaTek MAUI with an iOS skin.
@@gtrxAC why isnt it symbian tho
@@ayukovt These cheap chinese phones didn't use symbian, only legitimate manufacturers like Nokia, Samsung, LG, etc. used Symbian. I'm assuming this is mediatek like most of these chinese clone phones were. Symbian doesn't even have a "Java" app like that, it just shows each installed java app/game separately in the menu.
@@gtrxAC ah I thought Symbian was a thing where you can just get the source code and implement it in your random chinese knockoff and not a thing locked down to legitimate manufacturers
@@gtrxAC plus symbian probably needed a higher end processor
ah yes, the Global Mobile. one of the most “remembered” phones of the 2000s
Yes I remember my first global mobile ahhh the memories
Ahhh memories
Ikr, I'm sure we all had one!
@@iiBOMB Yes if you didn’t have one then you had the rip-off version I think it was called iPhone
I'm miss having it where can I buy one again?
me:mom can i have iphone 2g
mom:son we have iphone 2g at home
iphone 2g at home:
its not running android, its running on java like old candy bar phone before smartphone era
I don't think that phone runs android, it runs a customized Java system, a lot Chinese fake iPhone runs something like that back than
same i think that it is a java script client
@@IDKTECHSPERTSit's not javascript
I noticed the java app on the home screen
My father's fake iPhone was saying 'tree is charged' instead of 'battery is charged'
A bat tree
Don’t mind me just charging my tree
How the phone works with a tree
@@williancheveteiro idk 🤣
@@williancheveteiromore importantly, how is the tree charging
I didn’t even know there was a fake iPhone 2G I just bought an iPhone 2G on iOS 1 on eBay auction for £44 I hope it’s not a global mobile if not I need a return
It runs a version of Nucleus RTOS named MTK MAUI, mostly used in Chinese clones and legitimate Nokia feature phones nowadays.
I don't know if you saw that Java Icon but it's JavaOS. Not Android.
I recently bought a high quality 1st gen clone a few weeks ago that another seller pointed out to me. These are hard to find and are rare. These are much more valuable than regular old iPhone 2g. The cables for those clones are also hard to find as they are not Micro-USB and are some type of Chinese proprietary cable.
I’d love to see a video of it… where’d you get it?
This thing looks really cool. I’d love to see a full review of the OS, and see what it can actually do in the modern day!
most of them need cellular connection 2g is shut down in most of world now.
@@PK-hr8rnmost 3rd world countries like India still have 2G and 3G.
@amazeyourself_ yeah even china has 2g still
When he thinks installing batteries is weird 💀💀💀
such a weird phone lol

Did somebody notice the rubix's cube in the background
Pin it
Man can you send me a link to one of the global mobile phone
Oh my god I still have a magazine that covered this phone
where did you buy it?
This device runs MediaTek MAUI and is most likely based on an MT6226 or MT6225 processor. Most iPhone clones of that era were based on that same SoC and OS but with different skins. It's also why a lot of them share the same defualt MediaTek ringtones (I have a video on my channel about them)
greetings fellow crappy mediatek phone owner (I have a Sciphone G2)
@@GroupNebula563 hello super neat!

Bottom right corner: java
Iclassic: "tHis Is An OlD vErSiOn Of AnDrOiD" bruh
was looking through my iPhone screen mostly while recording so had minimal visibility 🫣😂
java supports android too
@@オリヤ No, Android has some Java emulators on the Google Play Store. How does Java run Android apps?
@@rockpie.squashfs no you're right there are emulators, my mistake
The camera app is on life support 😂
I remember that phone. Not even iPhones but also they made a Nokia clone that has an analog TV tuner. That feature was a huge hit in my country. 😂
i bought one of those phone really cheap with analog tuner worked very good just sucked like a year latter they turned off analog tv
I remembered when I was a kid, phones with analog TV tuner like that was also really popular in my country. Sad that no analog TV signal nowadays.
and the fake PlayStation phone that is based on concept designs for it.
congrats on 98k! i can't believe how much this channel has grown..
I think you should try tracking down an airphone 4 a very good replica of the iPhone 4.
1 micro usb was made around 2009
2 this isn't heavily skinned android it's a java based os that run on the lowest of the low end of devices back then evsn in 2012 with some galaxy s3 clones they ran this java os based stuff skinned to look like TouchWiz
Nokias also ran this os, i remember my Nokia c5-03 also had symbian, it was a newer version tho
It does not even run Android, it's an old version of JavaOS
Why its hurt me so much every time you plug the charger 😒
how the heck he not at 100k
I would absolutely love one of these
So did you buy it on eBay or did a friend send it to you?
"It is running old version of Android".... Bro are you joking? 😂 Android was never this trash ever. This is the same Java based OS I found on every cheap Chinese feature phones back then.
ive heard that the clone is more rare than the original iphone
yes, idk why tf he said not to buy it, as if he didn't know it's rare!
Where I buy plz
There is no iphone 2g model
Correction: the plug is a generic charger for Europeans but not for Americans
So in the unlikely event that anyone would want to use this, how do you adjust the volume?😂
i think its the same way as an ipod- by settings
did anyone notice that the games logo has the ps3 boomerang controller?
love this phones. They don't even use android, it's just java
5:14 WELCOME
[Insert SIM]
6:05 That's definetely not Android. It's the generic MTK OS that comes with most feature phones, just reskinned to look like iPhone OS 1.
Replaceable batteries, 1-0 for Global Mobile
Use the Apple Pencil, the screen is resistive
Can someone send me a ebay link to a global mobile phone
Oh look, it's a step above Ashens' A88. This phone at least has the 'r' at the end of "Calendar"
One of my friends got scammed when she ordered an og iPhone on eBay as a gift for me, we were messing with it trying to get it to turn on, and it was so garbage that it started working after I dipped it in water, we were both laughing hysterically. For good old phones, water breaks them, for fake old phones, water fixes them
Quite a nugget I Must say
Dankpods should definitely review this
@@CrappyMusic-cb6blYES M8!!!
Didn’t apple make that style of brick way after the 2g? If so this may be a newer clone
This is the typa stuff that your grandma would get you
Android didn't even exist back when this was made lol.
the whole phone is absolutely hilarious
Man, that thing makes the 2g screen look huge.
5:15 gotta love midi files!
heres a fun drinking game take a shot every time he says "something to keep in mind"
6:10 No, that's not even Android. But it's more likely running some Java OS. Android was released in 2008.
Damn I was going to snap one up purely because I thought it was running android.
@@BarrySmootherit still would be pretty hard to find one, but I did manage to find an upgraded model on eBay which has Bluetooth and double sims. Probably best you didn't get it
Using the power brick that came with it is one way to set your house on fire.
That replica looks genuine considering how old it is
what reply
Bro is surprised every dam time he remembers it’s not a real iphone
the link i gave down is for this product
sure reminds me of a fake iphone a college friend had like, 13 years ago lol
Not android
I had one but it was called the hi phone 😂
I mean I understand some people aren't tech savvy but "a very very old version of Android"? Really? Couldn't have spent a few seconds looking at that Java logo?
The box looks stuck in the 70’s, looks terrible even for back then
That camera is worse than the real iPhone 2G. lol.
I forgot, is this a real iPhone 2g or a Global Mobile?
For 30 bucks you can never find a 2G in good shape, I got mine for 70 bucks a few years ago and now they go for like 180 and up depending on the condition.
Honestly hilarious video
Imagine if the fake phone is more expensive than the Original iPhone because of how rare it is
yes
Guys, Always keep in mind.
it's running Java os not android.
That is NOT Android, but some old generic os (probably MediaTek os)
To get a real iPhone 2g cost so much in Australia, like $80 for a completely broken one. Or $150 and above for one that only just works
it looks like a mediatek phone, like mediatek smartwatches like dz09, q18, etc
That brick looked very identical to Apple’s brick, apart from the sticker and the unusable plug
6:05 that is not android is like java OS the same as old flip phone
The gPhone
I am betting that it has a plastic shell
7:17
reminds me of air phone 4 XD
It is not even android. It is some java os thingy.
4:03 Its not micro USB becous not much Phones had it at the time. Its some old usb thing i dont know the namebut this was before Micro usb. Lots of old Samsung Phones use this. i had one to as a kid
Minni usb.
it's actually a proprietary 12-pin port used in many chinese phones, not the samsung ones
Nice video!
I Would be happy if I could have it❤
I think it runs symbian, not android
it actually runs MTK MAUI, symbian requires higher minimum requirements
This is not android or symbian. This runs a Chinese OS common to Chinese basic phones.
"it says charger connected that is like so weird " bruh wtf
normal ios dosent say that, so it would defenitely look strange to see that for some people
To be fair if this came out back in the day and was cheap enough it’s a decent deal. Got to remember the iPhone had no App Store and didn’t rave videos. All you’d miss out on is the build quality, iPod function and the reliability 😂
I would like to have that little thing man!
Love it lol
2:03 only one way to find out
Did you order the wrong phone
Who made this? A super villain?
Is it a iphone knockoff
